Staff is hella stingy with their toppings. They be puttin back the extra slice of turkey instead of letting you have it. I asked for olives and I swear on my life, this man put like 3. Drinks aren’t worth it as you can just get a large soft drink for a dollar over at McDonalds bout 50 steps away. Foods overall alright in taste so I ain’t trippin too much.

If I could give 0 stars I would! We went in today more than an hour before the establishment closed to find the employees sitting on crates in a corner laughing while playing on their phones. One of them rudely came to help us. She threw everything on the bread, horrible presentation and the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced at a Subway! Never going back to this location. The boss should really consider hiring a better/friendlier staff.

Be prepared to ask for more toppings, NUMEROUS times. The staff here are very stingy with the portion sizes. I always have to ask for more lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, peperocini, and etc. Staff frowns at me when I ask for more toppings. Come on, I know this ain’t togos, but when you make sandwiches that show the bottom of the bread, you are not putting enough/satisfactory amount of toppings. I am not surprised that the toppings look stale. By the way you serve the customers, you are pushing customers away from coming here. Good luck serving fresh food and staying open.

This place needs 0 stars. I went here a couple of days ago because I was craving a sandwich. I went in with the family and the new employee that was there was literally taking his time to make a sandwich. After he got done, once he folded the sandwich, the hinges on the bread that actually held everything in was completely torn almost all the way down. I already knew that if I held this sandwich that everything that was in there would fall out. I simply asked for a new sandwich to be made and the lady that works there in the mornings gave me excuses and said that«it’s okay because the guy is new» and that I should take the sandwich and leave. After a few minutes of arguing with her she went and made me a new sandwich and she did that quick and angry too. When I finally got my sandwich and gone home, I realized she didn’t even heat it up! It was still cold in the middle! Never again will I go here. I wish and pray this place closes down. Based on the reviews, I don’t think that day is too far away. The owner of this store needs to fire that lady in the morning and find someone else who has better customer service skills or else he can close down that store himself.

The only reason they even get one star is that the younger evening staff is very efficient and offers good customer service. The woman that works the morning shift, I always have a problem with her. This morning was no different. She bunched the luncheon meat in the middle of the sandwich she was making, so I asked that the cold cuts be spread out evenly over to the edge, and that’s when the LOUD argument began, while another customer had to walk by the door because she was yelling so loud. She didn’t seem to understand my request for the cold cuts to be spread out, so I asked her to stretch the meat out toward the edges of the bread. She kept screaming that the meat is not stretchable. I told her I didn’t want the meat stretched; just spread them out. She then picked up a piece of roast beef(I thought she was going to throw it at me) and started to wildly wave it in the air, telling me to try stretching the meat myself. I almost walked out but I was in a hurry to get some food. The owner/management needs to review the security tape so that they could see her doing that. A few months ago, another fight ensured when after the same lady started making my sandwich, the glass cover that covers the ingredients fell down, she started touching it and putting it back in place. When I asked her to change her gloves, she said she will not because everything she touched was clean. I told her there’s no guarantee the glass cover and the top of the counter that she touched was clean and she started SCREAMING at me. When I told her I was going to report her, then started to walk out, she changed her tune and said, «Okay, okay, I change my glove but you are very wrong!» She then angrily made my sandwich. I only go there because they are actually pretty fast and it’s only a few blocks from where I live. I go there often and have spent hundreds of dollars there this year. This lady needs to either attend a customer service training or be replaced. She is an extremely rude individual most times.

I went here Saturday May 11 at 11:30 am for lunch with my 3 classmates. We all ordered our sandwiches but the lady’s working here were so rude to us. When my classmate asked for her sandwich to be cooked twice(since it was raw last time) the lady gave her a dirty look! Ok we’re not criticizing you for making a raw sandwich last time, she was just making sure it was right this time cuz we were all starving and had to clock back Into school within 30 mins. But here’s the best part, I was the last girl paying for my meal… I was talking to my other classmate sitting at the table with her paid soda, as the female employee walks from the front door to behind the corner, she looks at my classmate sitting down… more like STARING and turns to the other employee behind the register and starts LAUGHING and talking in THEIRLANGUAGE! I couldn’t believe it!!! I seriously thought there was a chance they may have known each other, but they didn’t, my classmate didn’t even realize that she walked and stared at her(LITERALLY turning her head over her shoulder) just to laugh at my friend who was minding her own business sitting at the table. We have NO clue or idea why the lady laughed at her and continued onto the conversation with her co worker… But it made me so furious I HAD to say something, I’m usually not that kinda person! But my voice NEEDED to be heard, I asked, «is there a reason why she’s laughing at her??!» And she just mumbled, and brushed it off, I was so mad I left the store immediately afterwards to keep myself going over the counter. Hope you 2 ladies get reported.

First time today. Last time. Very very rude service! All I wanted was a damn soda! I felt like I was putting the lady out by requesting one. After I forked over my money, she ignored me. I needed a CUP to get the diet coke! So finally I got one – rather grudgingly. It was Soup Nazi, or Diet Coke Nazi, time for sure! I was just thirsty and needed a quick drink. This will NOT be my watering hole! Sounds like the food is deplorable too…

We needed a quick meal, so I swung by Subway for sandwiches. The service was better this time, although they put way too much humus on my sandwich(I thought I’d try something different), and it’s hard to hear what they’re saying from behind the glass counter. But the sandwiches are good and fairly inexpensive.

I’m aware of other feedback here, but as for myself, I noticed that the food seems to be ok both time I went there. You WILL have to be clear when you order though, as the girls there seems to work without paying attention to what you are saying. But I will definitely go back there.

Watch your money here! WORST food-service place in Fremont, probably worst Subway ever. I went here years ago, the manager-lady ripped me off because I didn’t «ASK for the promo» they were having, but instead I asked for the sandwich on that poster behind her. Nothing else was different but the price; and she refused to refund the difference nor give a refund due to my dissatisfaction. Sandwich was edible, but I was starving anyway. My brother tried this place recently without my knowledge or rant about them, and he told me they ripped him off too, for something different.

Wow! This place has terrible ratings, I should have read them earlier(before I ate here last week). Good news is I complained on Subway’s web page and I got a phone call from the owner. Bad news, after reading the awful reviews I kind of doubt anything is going to change. Short and sweet: Stale bread, really stale I had to tear off the hard bits and eat the middle, toward the end I just gave up and ate the meat and veggies. Dirty, dirty, dirty — even though I was the only customer in the place all the tables were dirty, un-bussed even though I was off peak and the lunch rush should have been over for a couple of hours. I like Subway and this is the closest one to my house :-(

I agree that this Subway is terrible! I was somewhat forced to go there because of time constraints. However, each time they have upset me with a lack of professionalism. TWO times I tried to redeem my reward card for free items, but they would come up with some excuse about their register or computer not accepting the offer, therefore I would have to use my card or cash, when it should have been no cost. After that last fiasco, I vowed to NEVER return!

I’m giving this location 2 stars even though I go to it somewhat frequently. The reasons why are as follows: 1. The staff. The place is family owned I think, but that doesn’t always equate to it being good. They can be pretty slow to make sandwiches and either they can’t understand you or you can’t understand them. They also pushed their rewards card one day and I took one thinking I’d use it… however, they never ask you for it and they don’t seem like they want you using it(free stuff? Never!). 2. The quality. Subway seems to pride itself on letting you get whatever you want on the sandwiches. However, when you tell them the veggies you want on it they skimp like no other Subway I know. I once asked for olives, watched the girl put on– literally– 4 olives, and then move on. I would have asked for more, but they charge for anything and I wasn’t going to bother. 3. The prices: When you see Subway ads they’re all promoting the 5-Dollar Footlong. This location seems to have dropped most of these sandwiches from that category and has barely anything listed under it. Then when the chain started adding pepperoni to the sandwiches they started charging more for some of the sandwiches I always get(ie: Meatball Marinara). Oh and they don’t ask if you want it without pepperoni despite the menu still listing the non-pepperoni version for $ 5. They just start slapping on pepperoni to charge you more. Now there is one positive. The store is clean. The floors are almost always freshly mopped when I go in and everything in the restaurant is organized and tidy. However, this isn’t enough for me to warrant more stars since the staff and quality of the sandwiches is pretty annoying.

I like Subway when I need something quick to eat & I lost all hope for this location. Busted soda dispenser, never seems to work right or have carbonation in the soda. The bread taste gross as if it wasn’t freshly baked. They never have a full stock of meats, and veggies. & I was upset one time because I asked for it to be toasted and she’d already put lettuce and some veggies on it, and she put it as is to get it toasted, NASTY! I told the girl that I would not accept the sandwich and she offered to make me a new one. The last time I came there, I wanted extra jalapenos and the owner wanted to charge me for additional veggies? Screw that, I left. I never gotten charged for just one extra topping, especially that I didn’t get tomatoes, banana peppers, & olives. I’d say just drive down to the Subway near Luckys down Fremont Blvd, they’re at least a bit better.

I go to Subway all the time and all over the place. They’re not all the same so my rating is comparative to other Subways, not other restaurants. I’ve been here 1 time. Food quality here was marginally less than the average Subway. Bread was either overbaked or stale. They don’t have the process down well. Soda machine not well maintained. Otherwise, a decent Subway.
