D is an aweeesome sushi chef. Best sushi I have had in the area. Tiger roll and super spicy california roll is insanely good. All the food is fresh. D should get a raise !

Kids had sashimi and chicken teriyaki bento. I had beef bibimbap. Both are really fresh and good. The korean hot paste was DELICIOUS. We were the only people but it took a long time for food to arrive. Only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars.

My first visit to Sushi K was today for lunch at around 1:30PM. It’s located right next door to Zam Zam Hala Supermarket and in the same shopping center as Cloverleaf Family Bowling Place. As we walked into the restaurant, it was not busy at all. There were 3 booths taken and 1 table being occupied. The waiter brought us menus right away and we browsed the menu for a little bit seeing as it was our first time here. I browsed around the menu and found out that they serve both Japanese & Korean food here which is pretty interesting. Also the guy gave us 2 different menus!?? One said Sushi K on it and the other said Minami Sushi, it was pretty confusing… When we were ready to order, there was no one to take our order. There were no waitresses, only 1 waiter, which seemed to be the main guy here. We waited for about 10 minutes before the guy finally came to take our order. Although he did say«Thank you for waiting»… He brought us water and hot tea after shortly after we ordered our food. What he had ordered was 2 things: 1 Shoyu Ramen Spicy($ 6.95) 1 Beef BiBimBap($ 9.99) It took quite a while for our food to come and keep in mind it wasn’t that busy at all. The guy didn’t bring me my miso soup till the our orders came which was alright. but like he should’ve brought it while we were waiting for our food. That way I could drink it while waiting instead of just waiting… When we got our food, the Ramen, my mom thought it was just wasn’t worth it. The noodles to her were not worth it because it’s just packaged Ramen… it’s really packaged Ramen lol. she just thought it wasn’t really worth the 7 bucks she had to pay for it… The Beef BiBimBap was pretty worth it for $ 9.99, there was quite a lot and it was a in a pretty big bowl. There was actually a decent amount of Beef that had pretty decent flavor. It also came with a runny egg in the middle and an assortment of veggies in the bowl along with rice on the bottom. Customer Service needs a bit of work here. For lunch time, they only had 1 waiter working and one person working at the Sushi Bar. Not sure how many were working in the kitchen… but service was pretty slow for a place that was quite honestly not busy at all. The waiter was friendly and all but didn’t really come to check up on us til like after we were finished with our meal. That’s probably because he was the only one working… This place needs to hire another person to help, one waiter isn’t gonna cut it! Service was too slow here. 2 stars, I’ve definitely experienced better at other Sushi restaurants in the Fremont area. Not sure if I would be willing to return though.

Have def had better ramen, felt like it was the instant noodle kind that could be made at home. Sushi rolls were ok, but you get what you pay for.

The best sushi i ever tried Always fresh and delicious(try«blue mountain» sushi) Its not the cheapest one, but quality is worth the price The owner very kind person and he really care about his guests He gave our son free sample of all kind of treyaki to try And sometime there is free ice cream for our boy Only one complain, the restroom area looks like restroom in some gas station in a middle of nowhere

Skimpy portions of fish. Seafood not fresh. sauces aren’t fresh either. needless to say, unless you have an iron lined stomach beware! I liiked that they tried their best with what they have, but it’s not a true japanese sushi place and i think they have changed owners too. I’ll pass though.

Wayyyy better since they changed owners! My dad and I love going here and getting stuffed with sushi and hot saki. My fav is the deep fried California roll topped with unagi(don’t remember the name of it). The service could be better and the saki was only luke warm not hot at all but the sushi makes it all okay. I was also pretty impressed with how clean the fish was cut. Just minor nicks.

Not worth it anymore. They remodeled and possibly changed owners. No longer have the huge portion sushi salad thing, I forgot what the heck it was called. Something bim ba bap lol Price is high up there for borderline acceptable sushi. I had a roll that was a little crunchy(not crunchy) roll and the roll didn’t stay intact. That tells me their sushi ain’t fresh. I won’t be going back for sure. Tango is better and it’s not saying much… lol

I was honestly disappointed of this sushi place. Apparently they changed owner and they no longer have all you can eat sushi. My group and I asked to make sure and the waitress clearly said, «No. We are only a restaurant.» The place was pretty empty when we walked in; one couple and one family were there. The waitress sat us down and brought our menus. There was nothing special about it except that everything was pretty pricey. I have been to my fair share of sushi places and so the only thing that seemed reasonable on the menu was the bento box for $ 10. The waitress took our order and then came back with some tea. It was a really strange flavor. My friend noted that it tasted like«burnt rice». The waitress brought us the wrong order from another table. Good thing I did not touch it because she ended up coming back to bring it to the correct table. We had to wait a while for our food. Again, nothing special or great about the food. My friends ordered their Bay Scallop roll and hands down, Kenzo Sushi’s scallop roll is twice as good. Their roll was completely drenched in sauce and that made it soupy and unappetizing. I don’t think I’ll be returning to this place.

Sushi is good, takes long though if you order all you can eat $ 10+. I love how they give 15% off your bill if you check in on Unilocal

Wandered in and it was empty. We had their lunch specials and they were decent. I liked the miso soup as it had extra bonito broth but my wife gave me hers and said it was fishy. I had the tonkatsu(fried pork chop) with some tempura for $ 9. The pork chop was tasty but very thin so it had more batter than meat. The tempura was nice but the dipping sauce seemed watered down and was lacking flavor. The waiter had dirty jeans on so he gave me the impression this place was a little sloppy also. The place is nicely decorated but I get the impression it has seen better days. They don’t do the all you can eat lunch anymore which I read about on Unilocal

We got a coupon in the mail for $ 8.95 all-you-can-eat lunch here. A quick glance at the Unilocal rating and we figured why not! Well, the coupon was not really a coupon given that the menu price for the all-you-can-eat is $ 8.95 but it was still a good price. We learned very quickly how they were able to charge such a low price. The rolls generally consist of rice and a tiny hint of whatever you were hoping would be in the roll. I took off about half of the rice from each roll. By the end of the meal, my plate had a huge pile of rice on it. This was such a sad experience. I love sushi and this was just not right. Hubby ordered a sweet potato roll only to find it was fried sweet potato and then on further inspection, mostly fried and a tiny hint of sweet potato in the batter. So in the end, he got a roll with some fried batter. All the vegetable rolls we got were generally like that and all seem to come with some sickeningly sweet sauce. I would recommend you NOT come here. For the same money you can get 2 good rolls at a real sushi place. I’d like to add though that the waitresses there were super nice and fast with making sure our next round of orders were taken.

The fact 1 — it is not the best sushi I had in my life, but the fact 2 — it is very good sushi for very good price. The $ 11.95 for the all-you-can-eat is a great deal ;) love Eggplant-Cali roll. Friendly service. Environment is OK.

First visited this restaurant after 2 rounds of bowling with a couple of friends. We saw from far away the sign«sushi» and that already lured us in. The waitress was pretty nice though– refilled our drinks, agreed to separate checks for a group of 7, etc. Their sushi is pretty expensive for dinner. That’s all I gotta say. At first, we ordered one roll each, so total of 7. and that wasn’t enough to fill up our stomach. So, we decided to order something different– my friends ordered the tonkatsu ramen and I ordered the tonkatsu curry. STAYAWAY! They were awful, and too pricey! Second time, I went to try the AYCE. ITWASHORRIBLE! The rolls were very interesting because some rolls did not include the things that were said on the menu. They were very small too. On top of that, we could only order one roll per person at a time. So, it took a while after each round to get our next rolls. With all the tax and tip included, it should be about $ 10 a person, which, in my opinion, is totally not worth it because you can spend maybe 5 more bucks and go to better sushi buffet like TOMI in San Jose or all the way to Davis.

Actually a 3.5. Yes, the AYCE from 11 am to 3 pm(12 to 3 pm on Saturdays, and not at all on Sundays) for just $ 8.95 cannot be beat. And it’s actually not horrific, as you would expect for something so cheap. The«Oh Yes!» is a MUST, and everything else was decent. The sizes of the rolls kept fluctuating, but we didn’t mind too much because it was always on the generous side. Service is what really hurts the rating here. We had to seat ourselves, because the waitresses were too«busy» putting dishes of wasabi and ginger on all the tables in an empty restaurant. It was very difficult to flag one down whenever we wanted to order again — and you could only order one at a time, after you’ve finished your roll. This really annoyed us, because that meant there were long periods of just sitting there, nothing on our table, waiting for the next roll. We were also gluttons worried that we would only manage three rolls each by the time it was over at 3 pm. The bill also took awhile to get. Unless the quality off of the AYCE menu is amazing, I wouldn’t come here for any other reason.
