Applebee’s

The food was excellent! My Oriental Chicken Salad was on point Our waiter Brian was excellent! He totally took care of us and all the tables near us. He did an awesome job! Keep up the great work Brian

Majority of the staff here is unprofessional and lazy. There is literally one lady attending multiple tables at a time while others stand around. Lady you are the real MVP. Food was great. That one lady was awesome. The douchebag at the front with headset get another job. Maybe in the back washing dishes where you belong you prick. Asked you if you could take our orders and you wandered around with your finger up your nose while you ignored us.

Had not gone out to eat in awhile since my girlfriend and I were focused on others during the holidays. I was craving Applebee’s honey pepper chicken pasta so we headed over to enjoy dinner. We were seated fast by a friendly host, and it was Sunday so we got to take advantage of happy hour. Or server was nice and brought out drinks quickly just after answering my many questions because I have a tendency to talk a lot. The drinks had no carbonation though and even though the staff tried to fix the issue the drinks just didn’t taste right. That was really the only issue of the night. We both switched from carbonated drinks and enjoyed our meal. It was a bummer because I was craving a Pepsi but it happens. I will enjoy another meal from here again. I do want to be clear that giving this rating is based on what I expect from a restaurant like Applebee’s. The meal was good but it’s not a top tier restaurant but still great it you want to enjoy a game and have a few drinks and some food. Thank you Applebee’s for a good evening.

The food is over priced for such low quality food and the staff can not refill your drinks EVER they are so bad at what they do. The only thing good about this place is happy hour for drinks.

A good place to grab a quick drink during happy hour with a few people. The bartender is nice and always check up if you need a drink. The other services are slow. I don’t recommend eating there on a busy night.

It seems with the big chain places like the service is either a hit or a miss, but more of a miss. It’s hard to critique a place that most likely will have so so service, because it is expected from this sort of place. They are exceptions but I been here twice and the exception scenario seems very unlikely.
It’s an okay place to have fancy (over priced) pre packaged frozen food.
–Refills are always an ongoing issue.
–Food takes forever to make it to your table.
–Food is either to hot or cold.
–It’s the same no matter location or state.

I know not all Applebee’s are the same, but for the most part these last few years their reputation has been plunging. I personally have a few locations that I can still enjoy the food and service at.
Unfortunately, this location was not one of those. My server was Nathan and he was great, but the food was not all that great. I got the shrimp steak with vegetables and mashed potatoes. The potatoes were not really mashed and served cold, the steak was hot but very rubbery and I got like 3 pieces of veggies. Very disappointing, especially to have a dinner like that on my birthday in a town far from home.
Surprisingly I can’t complain about the long Island I got.

Horrible service and they serve tiny portions of food. NOTHING like the pictures. Curbside is the worst.

The reason this location is getting five stars from me is for a couple of reasons. We came in on a Wednesday and the place was very busy because they had tourist bus show up, so half the restaurant was fill by the tourists. But to our surprise that did not stop our waiter from being on top of everything and I mean everything. Our drinks never went empty our sides were always replaced and he was always within ear shot whenever we had a question. Our waiter really made this a great dining experience. Also the manager was on the floor greetings guests, asking how everything was and even stopping to have a conversation. The food was good but the staff was great and I will be back soon just because it was one of the best meals overall I have had in a long time.

I suppose it’s time to update my review. So the service still sucks 90% of the time. Very very slow and there never seems to be enough people working. More often than not there’s only 1 bartender during happy hour 3pm — 6pm and 9pm — 12am and it can take forever to get a drink.
The food seems to have improved and so has their menu. They add on new menu items once and awhile and everything I’ve tried is good. I rarely come here unless it’s happy hour cause it can get expensive. I paid $ 7.50 for a Samual Adams Boston lagar and $ 9 for a watermelon margarita. Like really… way too much. The apps are also way over priced. What I’m trying to say is this place is only good for happy hour… bottom line. ½ price apps and drink specials. My favorite apps are the boneless wings $ 5 and chicken won ton tacos $ 4…keep in mind those are the half prices not regular prices.
They do have some decent values on their regular menu. The 2 for $ 20 is great cause you can pick an app and 2 entrée items. Also, on Monday from 4pm to 12am they have $ 6.99 any burger and $ 4 bud light drafts. The burgers range from $ 9-​$ 13 normally so that’s a good special.
Nice place to come by yourself or with a friend or two. Wouldn’t recommend big parties or groups as it would get very expensive for poor service and mediocre food.

Service was terrible, especially since they were not busy in the least — there were 7 other tables with customers, and at least 6 servers. I was charged for a food substitute, and when my meal came, they completely forgot it.
The food was terrible. We got there at 4:00pm, and the food seemed as if they were leftovers from lunch, and re-​served. None of the food that came out was hot, as if it were made fresh. Instead, it was just barely above room temperature.
Needless to say, we did not even eat half of our food — we simply paid our bill and left.

Great food and atmosphere. Love the salads, definitely will be back. The drinks are pretty good too! My husband is a fan of the ribs and loves the desserts!!!

Ahhhh Applebee’s… The most inconsistent restaurant ever (especially this location)! When Chile’s moved across the street, service was top notch, food hot and fresh and life was good. Looks like dust has settled, and Blahh back to the norm of mediocre. Sundays are the worst (you’ve been warned)
With 19 check in’s anything is expected here. My latest visit called for me chasing down the waitress’s for more ranch, which I requested from the start. Also waiting for refills, wait she’s gone again??? And then receiving half fresh buffalo wings mixed in with old hard stale wings, really?
I ordered the burger from the two for twenty menu (which was delicious) but then had to ask twice for mayo, lettuce and purple onion. My daughter loved her petite steak and the wife enjoyed her oriental chicken
Salad.
We always return because if the value, but also always not expect the best experiences.

I like the ultimate trio i usually order that every time I visit a Applebee’s, this location is great since its not to far from where I live

Don’t bother ordering online! Ordered our food online and it said it would be ready by 7:15. My husband went to grab the food and they said they were «running behind»…about 10 to 15 minutes. Which to me means it shouldn’t be any later than 7:30. Mind you, this would be 40 minutes from the time of initial order. 7:38…7:38!!! (48 minutes to make a salad, basket of ribs and some boneless wings). We FINALLY get our food handed to us. Absolutely ridiculous!!! I can only assume that no one even bothered to check their incoming online orders and scurried to get our food together when we arrived for pick up.

Sooo, what do you say about a place where the servers are allowed to be lazy because they have electronic tablets at the tables for ordering and payment… Food was okay, pasta was over cooked, my brothers pasta was sweet and covered in honey… Honey? Yes honey. The artichoke dip was pretty good and my salad was fair. All in all, it was just… Meh… And I’m still thirsty!

Went for lunch. My daughters enjoyed their food, a turkey sandwich and cheesy chicken kids meal. My boyfriend ordered double barrel whiskey sirloins, and it was disappointing to say the least. The steaks were tough, with very skimpy vegetables on top which included a few janky onions, and two eighth inch sized red bell peppers, and mushy mushrooms. Not only that, but the potatoes were ice cold! When we asked for hot mashed potatoes, the server brought out a new plate of mashed potatoes, which were scalding hot on the outside, but freezing on the inside! Gross! To make matters worse, our server was too busy socializing with her coworkers at the bar to provide adequate service to her tables. We were never asked if we wanted refills, basically she dumped our food off and walked away, never to return. To add insult to injury, she added an extra 2.00 to our bill. We will never return to this location again!

I ordered from here a little while back on their To-​Go menu.
My order came out to a little over $ 43, not including the tip. When I arrived, the guy came out and told me that it would be a few min as they were still working on some of my order. He said that he would bring my drinks.
I had ordered a Pepsi and Cherry Pepsi, but when he brought them out… they were both Cherry. He then returned a little while later with my food and then I was gone. I arrived at my destination only to discover that they had not put any utensils in. I was not anywhere that I could just grab a fork, and after spending that money I was really kind of mad.
I ordered the rib plate, which you can eat those with your hands, no problem. But, I also ordered 2 entrée salads… not so easy to eat with your fingers.
The food was decent in taste, but the portions were ridiculous. The cole slaw that came with the ribs was extremely small, about the size of a cup of ranch. This is part of the reason why I typically don’t like ordering to-​go. It always seems like they are more willing to jip your to-​go order than if you ate inside.
I don’t think that I will be returning here anytime soon

I love Applebee’s, and I hadn’t yet visited the one on Shaw yet. My girlfriend and her mom visited and we decided to go on a Sunday afternoon.
The walk inside revealed a relatively clean dining area, strangely, it was not jam packed, even though there should have been lunch rush.
The ordering process was very very rough, I ordered a steak medium rare, and it was very very well done. No pink.
My girlfriends food came out fine.
Her moms order however went the worst, the first 3 things she tried to order she was informed were unavailable. She ended up just ordering a salad, which came out fine.
The appetizer saved the day, with some amazing buffalo wings (those get 5 stars) but overall it was not a very good experience, especially when they have been established in that location long enough to have things running smoothly.
