My son is 20 months & was pretty cranky the day we went(tantrums ALL morning). I was so impressed with the employee who helped us. She was very patient with us, tried to play with him(not having it) & eventually, backed away to give us some space & promised to come back to check on us in a few min. She did as promised, & he was much better. She was able to guess his size from looking at his feet(he was refusing to stand still long enough to put his foot in the sizing thing) — he did allow her to put the new shoes on, & walked around the store for a while. In the end, we were all happy(including him) with the product & her service. She informed us about how long he would most likely fit into these shoes(since toddlers grow so fast), how to break them in a for a while before going barefoot in them, etc. The store itself is pretty small, but they’ve got a decent selection of shoes. i think if the store had a huge selection What’s most important to us was a flexible sole — which is why we chose this particular brand. They had sandals, dress shoes & sneakers. Their prices are in the $ 38−48ish range. — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — - Here’s an updated review — I’ve since been by to buy my son additional shoes for the summer & my daughter her first pair of shoes about 2 weeks ago. When we’ve gone with my son, he was all over the place; he’s 2.5, so his patience is paper thin and every time we step in the store, he wants to wander out after a few minutes. The sales ladies we’ve gone to have loads of patience & don’t make us feel rushed or that we are a problem. For my daughter, they do sell saltwater sandals(i didnt notice any for the boys though) but not in the color i was interested in. Other brands they carry include Crocs, Keds, Sperry & Saucony. However, because it’s a small store, the options arent always that great. The crocs for example, are either Frozen or Star Wars themed. No plain crocs, which was disappointing. Had they have better options in variety, i would give them a 5 star rating.

The wife and I took my son to get his first pair of shoes !! The store seemed stocked just fine for kids shoes. The employee helping us was extremely nice and very very helpful, thumbs up for her !! She measured my sons feet and also gave us some knowledge on how fast baby feet grow and what to expect in terms of buying shoes for the next couple of years. Great experience.

Excellent service. The place was jam packed with only one worker there. She measured my kids feet quick and asked which models we liked. She promptly produced the boxes with the shoes and we were out the door before I knew. The downsides to this place is that the carpet was incredibly dirty and I am beginning to feel like the shoes they sell are mostly the same, but with different colors. I am not 100% that this is the brand for our child either.

Decent shoes, terrible service! My family and I went in tonight to buy a couple pair of shoes for our boys. First of all, we were not acknowledge until about 10 minutes. There was only 1 other customer and 2 employees. When Deena(the associate) finally approached us, she mumbled, «how can i help you?». Um, I dunno, how about a friendly hello and offering to measure my kids feet? When I tried to pay and use a coupon another employee had given us in a previous purchase(a month before), Deena said we could not use it. When I reminded her two other associates had assured we could use the coupons and she should honor what we were told by the stores representatives, she bad mouthed her associates by saying they are new and don’t know what they are talking about. I did not make the purchase with her because of her attitude and lack of customer service. If she was friendly and a good sales person, she would of managed the whole situation differently. When I told her I was coming back when a manager is available, she smugly said, «go ahead, she will tell you the same thing.» I am appalled with the whole experience. Deena laughed as we left the store. I will not be shopping there anymore! They are nice and a bit pricier children shoes, but definitely not the last Coke in the desert.

This review is for over 30 years of great service. We took our daughter to this shoe store when it was Mr. Frank’s Striderite, across the street, next to the Grape Tray. Huge selection, terrific service, good shoes for small, growing feet. Fast forward 30 years, and we are taking our grandchildren to this store, now located in Fashion Fair Mall, next to JC Penney. Smaller selection, but still terrific service, good shoes for small, growing feet. Children need good shoes. This is the place to buy them.
