I visited this gym and it did not live up to my expectations of what a UFC Gym should look like. There was very little room in the Fresno UFC Gym, they basically had a few cardio machines, about 20 heavy bags, and their Jiu-Jitsu area could fit maybe 4 people training at most. Their Jiu-Jitsu classes were very minimal, I think it was only 2 or 3 times a week on their schedule once a day, so their schedule was not very flexible. My main concern was that the gym was way to small of a building to have a complete MMA gym and lack of Jiu-Jitsu classes. If you are looking to focus on cardio and heavy bag work then the Fresno UFC Gym will be sufficient, but if you’re looking for a complete MMA gym this place will disappoint you! Especially considering they charge about the same amount of money as local gyms that feature more complete or diverse training! I’m sure the UFC Gym in Fresno would be better if they moved the gym to a building with more training space; maybe look into the old Von’s building off of Shaw and Minewawa would bee a good spot for an MMA gym!
