This is by far the best ice cream place. Will definitely be coming here again. Love the chocolate dipped waffle cone cup.

I am visting Fresno because my brother and his family reside here. What a great city and the weather has been wonderful. So nice in fact that after a scrumptious barbecue we decided to go out for ice cream. When given the choice I voted for Marble Slab as I have one where I live and the treats are super. When we went in one customer was just paying and there was only one person ahead of our group of three. There were 4 teenage clerks behind the counter and it seemed they were all attending to one customer. After a little while we tried to get someones attention by moving away from the ice cream choices and closer to the group of employees at the front. Remember we were the ONLY other people in the store other than the customer who was being served. NOTONCE did anyone even acknowledge that we were there. Because the first five minutes there we were catching up on old times and engaged in conversation we didn’t start timing how long it was taking but it was just shy of ten minutes standing there when we had had enough and we walked out. I don’t even think the staff noticed us waling out. We went next door to Jamba juice for a much healthier snack and were welcomed with actual customer service. Thank goodness. I just can’t believe this store has any good reviews. If they are trying to save money by using untrained teens on one of the busiest dessert times of the week, they are making a mistake. I would rather put a quarter in a gumball machine for dessert than go back to marble slab. ABSOLUTEDISGRACE.

I was craving for ice cream today and decided to go here since its close to where I live. I was firstly disappointed because they didn’t have Rocky road flavor. I had requested for 2 scoops of ice cream on a cone and I noticed the scoops were very small, probably half the size of baskin Robbins scoop. The richness of the ice cream was decent. I don’t think I would come back.

What a great afternoon treat with Marble Slab’s creamy delectable ice cream. I ordered coffee ice cream with Oreo mix-ins served in a crisp and thin waffle cone. These were the freshest ingredients I remembered having in an ice cream shop. I can’t wait for more the next time I’m in town.

The customer service here sucks, and the employees are lazy. There was one employee here that prepared ice cream for my brother and I, and she acted like she didn’t want to answer any of our questions. Their concept seems similar to cold stone except their ice cream lacks flavor and is watery. I’d pass on this place and just go to cold stone.

Great creamy Ice Cream. I tried the coffee because it’s always my favorite. My server told me it was a favorite among the regulars because of it’s creamy texture and smooth coffee taste. Not the most robust coffee but nice nonetheless. Also one of my favorite parts is the size(more then a pint, like 2 – 3 I think)/price. Also the inside has good seating and a nice restroom.

Excellent ice cream! Very friendly service and personable. Way better than Coldstone and locally owned. They do a lot of good for our schools/fundraising…Love them…

Great selection! Great ice cream! The toffee bowl was so delicious, must try! The girl in there was very sweet and helped guide us through the process. She was very patient and friendly while we decided what to order. We’ll be back!

Great place! Better than cold stone by far. Unlimited mixings! Great service, fresh ingredients and clean store. I am going to try the catering for a small party I’m having then we’ll update. I will be back.

I had straight chocolate with no extras and it was marvelous. We enjoyed the convenience of the location as well. Look forward to trying something different next time. This could be habit forming.

HORRIBLERUDE unfriendly customer service. Came in for the first time today and there were four girls working no one else was in there and they didn’t greet us with a smile or hello. Some other customers came in and they skipped my friend and helped the other customers before us. Made us wait 15 mins just to pay because they were looking for cups? Ignored both of us multiple times. Someone needs to teach those young girls some personal communication skills before they start working at an ice cream parlor which is supposed to be a fun and happy environment. Very bad experience and $ 4.50 for a small scoop? Way too overpriced. Cold stone is better and less expensive. Don’t waste your time.

I just kind of stumbled upon this place when I was on my way to Cold Stone Creamery. And wow! I got a Dark Chocolate ice cream with Oreo cookies on a recommendation by the cashier when I told her I loved chocolate. It was just perfect! I will definitely be going back to this place.

Don’t know why the reviews are low. The shop is clean, the servers are friendly and helpful, and the ice cream flavors are great. I don’t want to compare it to Cold Stone cuz it’s a different shop. But I do like the 99 cent Tuesdays here! Yum. No reason not to come here. :)

Kinda like a Cold Stone’s Creamery but BETTER! I loved the many different ice cream flavors that they offered. AND they were super creamy and flavorful. I had the coffee and it was just what I was craving. Totally hit the spot after dinner. BESTPART: you can add as much candy as you want to your ice cream. I put Kit Kats and Reeses Peanut Butter Cups. AND a small is more than sufficient. It’s not too much and they’re definitely not stingy at all. Wish the stayed open later than 9pm for late night cravings. I’d definitely come back so I can design my own ice cream flavors.

Marble Slab has a good variety of ice cream, sorbets, and frozen yogurt. I tried the watermelon sorbet, it was just okay, so I ordered a small vanilla bean with graham crackers, caramel, and bananas. It was pretty good. There was a line of people and since everyone usually orders custom creations it takes a while to get to the front. Prices are reasonble, service is okay, parking was easy.

We came back to use our 2nd Groupon(a gift) and the experience was much better than the first time. All smiles. Kids loved it. Beautiful warm evening just after sunset. Delicious ice cream treats. You know, all the makings of happy memory. They still had their tacky paper signs posted about the groupons but this time the staff was very friendly, helpful and well-trained! «New management?» I thought to myself.

I came in with the Groupon that I got for this place. The place is very overwelming with all of the different promotional signs touting various flavor mixes to choose from along the walls with such things as ice cream shakes, sundaes, ice cream in waffle cone(shaped inside of cup), ice cream cupcakes, plus the actual menu giving the pricing for each product. I can choose any ice cream and then choose mixings to put into the ice cream. Or I can choose one of those flavor mixes that I mentioned earlier. I decided it would be easier if I just chose one of the flavor mixes so it determines what is in my ice cream for me, instead of me having to make so many darn choices deciding what I want. I think the suggestions along the walls actually helped in deciding what to get, but this store does seem overwhelming just from the magnitude of choices available. When I’ve gone to Cold Stone I don’t remember being overwelmed. Maybe they just make the layout easier to understand and they don’t have the other items like ice cream shakes and sundaes and just keep it to the basics of ice cream with mixings. Also their mixings aren’t all in one place and aren’t easy to see. So I think I prefer Cold Stone over this Marble Slab. The lighting in the store makes it hard to see as well(and I have very good vision). The ice cream tasted good, but I actually didn’t think it was quite as good as Cold Stone which has better tasting ice cream. I’m giving four stars, because this place is just too overwelming of a layout, way too many products available that are being touted on the walls everywhere(it is fine to have ice cream shakes and sundaes but don’t put them all along the wall with each 10 different flavors cluttering the place up). It needs organizing, because there are promo signs everywhere… before the door, after the door, on the wall on the left, on the wall on the right, a stand where I’m in line, etc etc. I mean c’mon!
