The wine is good but the service was not as good as before. We used to love coming here, but the manager changed, and things are not as great. We will try again at a later date. We loved the manager from Austin and hate that she is gone. She brought a real unique vibe to the place.

Great little wine bar in downtown Frisco. Been twice this week and will definitely be back. Great wine and been selection. Also, the cheese plate was great. Love how they decorated the place and the outdoor space.

Went there last night just because I had heard some good things about the place. It was seat yourself which was different however the beer selection made up for that. Ate an amazing tasting platter and then afterwards had a really delightful conversation with the owner. She is great and I really can’t wait to go back during the spring time to experience the patio. Overall looks like it would be a great date place.

We love Eight11 and visit regularly, as it is just blocks from our house. It’s a cozy place to have some wine or a draft beer or two — unlike anything else in Frisco or far north Dallas. We love the laid back vibe! Great flat breads and cheese boards. This is the perfect quaint place to have some drinks and relax. If you are uptight or in a hurry, don’t bother — it’s not for you!

Fantastic place! Wonderful personable service! The owners are lovely people that really care about your experience. The wine is first class and the small menu is a perfect fit. Great happy hour until 7pm… Visit this place often.

First and last time there this evening. Over an hour and a half for salads, hummus, and flatbreads. Very little apologies made, and the place was empty. Water glasses and pitchers were left empty, music was shut off 5 minutes after receiving a flatbread that our friend ordered at the beginning of sitting down. Even worse was being a party of 7 and having to pay a large tip that wasn’t deserved. I will never patronize this place again after being made to feel so inconsequential.

We love Eight11! We love the small town feel it brings to Frisco! We love the owners, great people who truly work their butts off. The wine is great, love the flights, and the small plates they have to offer are delicious! We really enjoy sitting on the patio/backyard here and catching up with friends.

Finally had a chance to visit Eight 11. Walked in and was delighted to see how cute the interior was. We were sat at a table and given a jug of water and cups and were told our waitress would be right with us. I think pouring each of us a glass of water would have been a good start but ok… We ordered some bubbles and wine and it took a good while before our drinks came out. We had some small plates to share and the food was pretty good, the Goat Cheese Flat Bread and Cheese Plate. We asked for the bill and it took a good while to get that as well and we were ready to go at that point and wondered what the hold up was as the place was not crowded at all. I would return to see if this was just an off night and hope I would receive better service. 3 stars for ambiance and food.

Pretty disappointing wine selection. If you know anything about wine or how a flight progression should go– then no, stay away. The red flight was bland and the wine flight was so off the wall crazy there was no real way to enjoy it. They pride themselves in hard to find or low barrel production wine– hellloooooo– that doesn’t mean it’s good just because it’s hard to get! My recommendation is to look to a certain region and showcase all that it has to offer. Their charcuterie board was alright– Brie and salami were the best. Staff was pretty u knowledgeable about their wine(only 20 to know??) Overall, unfortunately won’t be back.

This is the best place to waste away a lazy evening in far North Dallas. From the moment you walk in the door, it’s immediately obvious Eight-11 exudes charm. I’m always greeted with a, ‘Welcome; make your self at home.’ I love that. I also love how the always-attentive waitstaff has a quirky personally to match the restaurant. When they ask how you’re doing, I legitimately feel like they are interested in the answer. It’s a refreshing break from the Chili’s, Applebees et al in Frisco. The staff is quick and attentive, and they feel like they have a personal interest in your wine/beer selection. To that point, Eight-11s wine selection feels like an attachment of the restaurant; like a carefully curated art collection. With the exception of a few staples, the beer and wine seems to be ever-rotating. I like that. I know one reviewer said the selection is small, but the restaurant is, like, 1000 sq/ft? I don’t really expect them to cellar too many wines. I don’t really look at prices when I’m out drinking, but when I get the check, I never feel like I was robbed. I suppose if I wanted to price shop wine on Amazon, I could save a few bucks, but I would be home alone. Not really for me. I’ve caught live music a few times, and it’s really fun. You have to follow them on Facebook and Instagram to find out who’s playing and when. The owner(Lance I think?) is hilarious if you catch hime behind the bar. The owner told me he and his wife own/run the place, and you can tell the care they put into it. OK, the negative. The food plates are small. If you arrive with a massive appetite, you’ll probably need to order a few plates. But if you’re like me and enjoy nibbling small plates, it’s prefect. My favorite is the rita-rita flatbread and the cheese plate.

I love supporting small businesses, but this was our first and last time as patrons. Our server, while very nice, was a 20-year old with very little knowledge of wines. Most disappointingly, the temperature was above 80 degrees. I know this happens from time to time, but first impressions matter and this was in no way a taste of Austin as they claim.

This is such a nice quaint place. Wine options are great, all wines are unknown to me but taste great! Service is a bit slow but still a great spot to unwind.

Wine selection was just okay and crazy over priced. Some 5 times what you can buy it in retail. Food was okay nothing amazing flat bread was good but could have been better crust to thick for a flat bread. It’s suppose to be a flat bread crispy not a pizza. Staff and was okay it was a slow night and I would not say service was great seemed one person was running the entire place. For the price there are other places in Frisco I can get better wine at the same price with better cheese boards and flat breads.

This place is so adorable! I really wanted to love it. The menu was simple and the staff was helpful. They had a cute and very talented girl singing covers that evening. So the ambience was lovely… That being said, my friend and I got the WORSTFOODPOISONING from here! My body apparently digests food quickly and started feeling a little funny after my meal while we watched a movie at the cinemark down the street. Bloated and gassy the first and a half of the movie. Then it hit me at home, full on projectile vomiting and [ahem] number 3… My friend woke up in the middle of the night with terrible stomach cramps and then proceeded to go number 3 all night. We ordered two dishes with the salmon and figure that must be the culprit. Do not plan on visiting again. he

Love coming here to sit on their dog friendly patio! Sometimes it gets crowded on nice nights and there are no seats outside! Kim is the BEST waitress she’s so sweet and bubbly. Glad you’re here eight 11

The boyfriend took me here on a spontaneous date night, and I must say we were both very impressed with Eight11. The look and vibe of this place reminded us of the quaint, hipster, house-turned-restaurants you would see in Austin or Waco(Sic em!). We walked in blown away by the cute, quaint, intimate atmosphere of the place! Who knew a place like this existed in Frisco? There was also a guy singing and playing on the guitar towards the back. Dinner and live music? Yes please! But the patio seating in the back was what got us. String lights+picnic tables+outdoor bar=Our kind of date night. We ordered flat bread, the hummus plate, and ended the night with the unlimited s’mores plate. The flat bread had the perfect amount of flavor and crisp. The hummus plate was devoured in a minute. The s’mores plate was just the cutest thing, because they bring a tiny candle for you to roast your marshmallows. But in hindsight, we could have done the s’mores thing ourselves at home. No biggy, it still made for a lovely evening :).

We’ve been here twice. My husband wanted to give them another chance. Our main objective was to have a cheese board. We arrive on a Friday night around 7ish and the first thing they tell us «the table in front of you just ordered the last cheese board.» What??? I wanted to just leave… We stayed and had a salad and what I would call a frozen pizza warmed in the oven. Unfortunately this will be our last time to visit.

First, I’d like to apologize to the staff that we stayed welllll past closing. But this place is so adorable and conducive to a good time, it’s hard to leave! Came around 8 on a Thursday and the whole patio was full. This was fine, because the inside is super cute. You seat yourself when you get here. They have a nice wine list, or you can do a flight of white or red. The flights look expensive at a glance, but you get 4 varieties so it’s actually not that bad. There was a short menu of salads and flatbreads that looked tasty, and I’d definitely want to try some food next time. Desserts aren’t listed but we asked the server and they have table s’mores(!!) so we obviously got those. There’s a chalkboard that lists house wines. My friends each got a flight but I opted to go with the house pinot grigio. It was so good, I had 3 glasses. You’re given a carafe of water and little jelly jars to drink it in, which is nice. We didn’t get our carafe right away but I was too busy enjoying my wine to notice. The s’mores were better in theory than in practice; you roast your marshmallows over these cute little tea lights, and the presentation was lovely, but I really wanted to melt that darn chocolate! Still good though. What really earned this place 5 stars for me was the service(I don’t remember our server’s name, but she was super sweet), and the fact that it’s a nice, family-owned business. I don’t believe we met the owners, but the manager(Kim I think?) was amazingly nice, even though we were the last people there and the servers probably wanted to kill us so they could go home. If that was the case, they hid any murderous intent very well. Kim even told us to come back for«#thestruggleisreal» Mondays, when you can get $ 5 pours of good wine. Kim, you and that crazy horse sculpture on the patio are hilarious. We’ll definitely be back on a Monday night, girl. Give this place a try for date night or girls night!

This is nice wine bar that is located inside of a cute house. It is dark, but not too dark inside in the main dining area. There is a bar area in the room just inside the front door. The wines here are reasonably priced for the atmosphere and the staff are knowledgeable about their offerings. It was fairly crowded on a Saturday night, mostly couples on a date. It is a quiet setting do not a good place for kids at this time of day. We got a handful of dishes to share including a salad, flatbread, and other non-notables. The salad was good, and was enough for one person’s small meal. The flatbread, however, was slightly burned and too crispy for my liking. As mentioned, the other small items ordered were snacks and not notable. Their menu is always rotating so that is a good thing as you never know what you will get. All in all, I would come here for the atmosphere and the wine, not necessarily for the food.
