I find the skinny older lady at the front counter to be unfriendly and racist! I’ve waited on my food on more then one occasion before I would post, and notice certain guess was treated differently. No thanks, I’ll take my money elsewhere. Treat all people the same!!!

First time Dinner Delivery:
Pros:
— Very tasty and fresh ingredients
— Friendly service on the phone
— Good on Menu — Tso Chicken, Garlic Chicken, Combo Lo Mein, Steamed Rice
Cons:
— Very small portions
— House Egg Roll not crispy and very bland not fresh
— Long wait but not a big deal
Advice to management, larger portions, use szechuan chili oil to spice the food, change House Egg Roll recipe.
Overall I would recommend.

Went and wanted something healthy. Which was okay… Wanted two meets they said we don’t do that. I said I would pay more. Picked a different sauce and wanted peanuts added. They wouldn’t do that. I said no rice and replace with soup. Guess what??? They don’t do that. I paid 15.00 for shrimp beef and a few vegetables. Won’t go back. But the food was all right. Convent for where I was at. Next time I will prob make drive for what I wanted.

It is terrific that such a great Chinese food takeout restaurant is so close to our neighborhood. Lucky 99 can get quite busy and on my most recent visit, after a failed attempt to call in my order, I drove over to place my order in person. During my wait, I witnessed a very efficiently run operation that can handle the large volume of orders. The service is also very friendly.
The food is delicious-​freshly prepared and not greasy. Also the right ratio of meat to vegetables so that the meals are a great value.
In addition to takeout and delivery, there are several tables to dine in. The restaurant is very clean and has a pleasing décor. Not your typical strip shopping center dining establishment.

Great local Frisco takeout. Been getting delivery from here since they’ve opened. They merged with Lotus who was located down Preston. They used to have one of my favorite fried rice but since the merge, no longer offered Bbq pork with their fried rice which is why one star removed. Otherwise, great service and delicious food.

I have been eating here for years but the new management is horrible. I ordered Mongolian beef and fried rice. The first bite I tasted something crunchy but i tried to keep eating it. Later I bit something so large and black that I had to call. The lady asked me to text her a picture and when I called her back she said it was burnt garlic. I have been eating my whole life and I know burnt garlic. She refused to give me money back and was extremely rude. Stay away from lucky 99!

I rate this place higher than their current (as of today’s review) 3−½ stars. Their food is Americanized, but less than Panda Express. We have gotten their lo mein, fried rice, hot and sour soup, moo shu pork, broccoli beef, sweet and sour chicken, and orange chicken. Their flavors are good and their prices are fair. We have never gotten sick from their food (this may be a weird comment to some, but we have gotten sick from to-​go food from several establishments around Frisco and Little Elm and have had to write them off our list). This place is always busy, and we have found that it is a favorite amongst our acquaintances in Frisco. Next time, we will venture out and try their other dishes.

Great food! I got the orange chicken. It is the best I have ever had! The only issue o have with them is that they take a while sometimes longer then usual and they sometimes forget I called in for Togo. Other than that it’s not bad compared the other Chinese places around.

Ordered from here 4 – 5 times before deciding to write a review. This is the quintessential American Chinese take-​out, it isn’t great, you’ll feel like a brick and potentially regret it afterwards but is an indulgence from time to time.
I’ve had the general Tso (by far from being the best, lacking flavor in the sauce and way too much breaking), fried rice (oily and no flavor…), Kung pao (very watery and flavorless vegetables), lo mein (like their fried rice) among other things.
Wouldn’t order from here unless I was desperate, hungry or both.

The amount of MSG in their food is real. I mean I don’t think I’m that sensitive to MSG and even then my head hurt and I was ridiculously thirsty. Food itself isn’t that great either. I just felt miserable after eating here.

Slightly over priced and nickel’d and dime’d on substituting of noodles over rice… and Brown rice costs more. Why ask what type of rice you want on a combination that comes with rice? And there is no kids menu or kids portion size.

A treasure in a strip mall. No frills but Simply Outstanding. Just right salt, not too oily. Fresh ingredients. The lo mein and hot & sour soup are my simple favorites. Meat quality is good as well.
The service is very home-​style. Small, self serve facility.
This is our second fav to Philly’s Han Dynasty. And at a fraction of the price! A fabulous find!

One of the primary reasons I ordered from Lucky 99 was due to the availability of their menu online. But don’t try to submit and pay for your order online — it doesn’t work. The woman at the counter was pleasant and even took the time to tell me that my soup came with «chips» when I had requested 2 additional bags. I’m sure some people would have just given me the 2 bags and charged me for both!
I ran out to pick up my food, and though my drive there and back was a little over 20 minutes, my food wasn’t very hot when I opened it to eat it.
Also, my lunch combo was supposed to come with an eggroll (which according to reviews are tasty) but mine didn’t. Had I known, I would have ordered an eggroll.
I will probably stick to tasty eggroll in Plano when I want chinese food in the future.

So this might be kind of confusing… Lotus on Preston is now merging with Lucky 99 and it looks like they’re keeping both names? I’ll be happy to call it whatever they want as long as they keep serving the same consistency of good food!
Recommended: Orange Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Hot & Sour Soup, and Eggrolls
Not Recommended: Wonton Soup
They have a family deal for $ 18.99 where you get two entrees, two soups, and two eggrolls (oh and they also threw in some complimentary almond cookies too). For a weekday night delivery, the lady on the phone estimated 45 minutes but I swear it was here within 25 minutes — score!

Ordered lunch on line at 12:16 and called at 1:40 to see why we had not had our food delivered. I was told they didn’t have an order for me… but I have a confirmation email saying it was received.
Absolutely no excuse other than «We don’t control the online order!» If you don’t then who does. its your restaurant. VERY DISSATISFIED with manager response and lack of ANY offering to make up for the obvious error and over 2 hour wait and follow up phone call just to get out lunch!
