Stopped in for a drink at the pub my first time in Texas and the service wasn’t good at all a bartender named nikki seemed like she hated her job made it unpleasant experience

Great Beer selection, very fitting décor. Poor bartender acted like she was put out by our questions. A local patron was more helpful with the scotch presentation and selection. She actually rolled her eyes when we switched from JW black to Balvenie. I recommend they release «Nikki» to the competition.

I’ve been to The Londoner in Frisco 3 – 4 times over the last 9 months and the story has always been the same — good beer selection, decent food, and awful service. I honestly don’t understand why the service is always so bad, but it’s a constant that keeps me from going here more often.

I’ve wanted to give this place a try for awhile now, but after doing so I can say I’ll never go back.
Here is why:
— The light fixtures are covered in cobwebs.
— Bussed dished are loudly tossed in a bucket, on the floor, that is located right by the POS system.
— Our waiter apparently thought it was acceptable to sit at the bar and yawn while he had customers.
— Some kid, 11 or younger, was playing darts, unattended, the entire time we were there.
— When asked about a beer, our waiter had no clue.
I had the bangers and mash, which was surprisingly good, but based on the dirty facilities and lazy staff, I would assume the kitchen is nasty.

English style pub where you can always find a soccer match on and enjoy it with other supporters. Staff is friendly and attentive. For major soccer matches get there early to get a seat in front of the large screen projector which was just replaced this year and has a great picture.
Pub is open of all Manchester City matches even the ones at 6:45am and the staff has always been ready to take care of us no matter the time.

Traditional British pub that’s only missing a picture of the Queen. Great food with hearty portions (I had the pot pie), solid selection of beer and attentive, friendly service. We were in the area from Flower Mound and would happily drive over again just to eat there.

I enjoy this place very much, especially because it seems to be one of very few places in Frisco that is sort of authentic, edgy and dive bars-​ish. Great beers on tap. The best food on the menu is the fish and chips and the buffalo chicken sandwich.
My only complaint is, and this is not the Londoners fault, is the location being right on top of World Cup ave. When there is a big game going on, you cannot even attempt to get a seat or service. I understand the whole British soccer (or do I call it football?) but sometimes you may not want to part of it and just enjoy a normal time at a bar.

If my favorite soccer team’s support group wasn’t at The Londoner, then I wouldn’t go here. The service is piss poor, and they think people are only there to watch sports, and not eat. I don’t think they get it over there. I was trying to order breakfast, and got the breakfast tacos. I specifically asked for no onions, and they said they can’t take special orders on menu items. What the hell? You can’t remove a few onions? I mean, I easily did it, but the fact that they told me the couldn’t remove onions is strange. I’m going to still go there to watch Manchester City with a bunch of great people, but I need to pack a pb&j or even some camel testicals next time I go. Atleast then they won’t put onions on it and I don’t have to deal with the servers.

Nasty. Tikka chicken masala was so watery and tasteless, I wonder if these people have any idea on earth how tikka masala is really supposed to be. It’s supposed to be spicy and creamy. This is was so bad we had to pour pepper and salt to get any taste. Bland as ever and it was like water. And serviced with tiny pieces of bread and a spoonful of rice? Come on. The philly cheesesteak sandwich was less than ok, very oily, half the bun was empty. Horrible fries like they were 2 days old just covered in salt and burned. Service was bad, nobody came to take our bill in the end we waited like 20 mins while the waitress was chatting with a table. No one came to ask us how anything was. The table next to us left because nobody brought them menus.

The food is fantastic. The beers are cold and the service is on point. I had never had a Ruben before today, due to the fact that this Irish girl hates sourcrout. But let me tell you, the sandwich was delightful! Also, Si was a great waiter.

Food was not good. I had the cheese steak sandwich and the bread was so saturated With oil or grease that I was unable to pick it up without it falling to pieces. The French fries were very old, soggy and cold. We let the waitress know and she said «not a problem we’ll get you new fresh ones. I don’t know why the cooks do that… send out old fries.» When she returned with the new fries she said «if you want fresh fries, next time just ask before you order them.». My wife and I recapped after she said that to confirm we both heard the same thing. We couldn’t believe we’d have to ask for fresh fries at a restaurant. The fries were much better after they were fresh. The bottled beer selection was excellent. The waitress really was good overall. I will return for the beer but I’ll pass on the food next time.

Service, service, service. I stopped in on a Sunday evening to watch the FC Dallas playoff game recently (Nov 22^nd I think) and was hugely disappointed.
We showed up around 6pm for the 6:30 kick off. Initially we sat down in the room to the side of the main room. The place was not crowded at all. We sat there for at least 10 minutes and no server approached us. Finally I just went to the bar to order our drinks. After I got our drinks from the bartender that seemed to want to be anywhere but there, I headed back to the table. While I was gone someone finally brought us some water. Eventually a table opened up in the main room to watch the game around 6:30 so we sat down. I asked a waitress if the table could be wiped down which never happened. Nor did anyone ask us if we needed anything during the 2 hours we sat there. For drinks I just went to the bar and again it seemed like I was a hassle for the bartender.
As you can see from my other reviews I’m not one to just write reviews of places I have a bad experience at. Usually my reviews are actually really positive but this one I have no choice but to simply say I was very disappointed.

The service here was the worst I’ve ever had. The staff would see you looking at them or waving and then look away. We were moved from our table in the corner because the bar isn’t open seating. No one sat in the table we were moved from the entire night. It took us about 30 min to get service. We would have left, but we were meeting friends. They get one star because the turkey melt was good. I will not be returning.

My experience here was awesome! From the moment I walked through the doors I knew that I chose the right place to eat and watch the game. The staff were friendly and the service was on point. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala. I was going to try the fish and chips but ordered the chicken because of the reviews. I typically only order this dish at Indian Restaurants. However, I was extremely surprised that I enjoyed it as much as I did. The only flaw was that two bites of my rice was hard, (under cooked). Other than that, no problems at all. I will definitely return and try other food on the menu.

People here are next level rude. I haven’t experienced worse customer service anywhere (if you can call it that). Service is non-​existent and no one seems to care about anything. Stay away. Not worth your time or your money to deal with the horrible staff.

3pm Pretty steady busy for 3pm in the afternoon, which says something. Coming alone, I decided to sit at the bar.
3:10pm I wanted a margarita, but from last night, I was afraid to. lol. Mine last night was made by a girl, was never given her name. But it was tart and nasty, I only drank half of it and I never not drink my margaritas. Glen, today, assured me, his margaritas are awesome. Ok! Margarita please!
3:15pm So far so good. Got my drink, margarita. Yummy. This is how a margarita is suppose to taste. THANKS Glen! I couldn’t choose which entrée I wanted, so I gave him a couple choices and told him to surprise me on one of them.
3:33pm Food came! Smells delicious! He ordered me the Chicken Tikka Masala.
3:40pm OMG yum!!! The chicken is so tender! The sauce has the perfect amount of curry in it. And the pita bread was soft, not chewy, just perfect. The right amount of pita slices for how much food your have. I didn’t over stuff myself so I have a little bit of leftovers. Awesome!
The only reason I rated it a 4 instead of a 5, is because I didn’t really get the attention I think I needed. I had to wait a bit before I could pay, about 10 min. Another bartender asked if I wanted my check, I said yes, and then he disappeared. lol. So Glen when he came back, he gave me my check.
I will for sure be back. Glen said his second favorite is the Shepard’s Pie. That will be for next time. Can’t wait!

Great martinis and food is always good. Just a nice casual place to stop when you have a few extra minutes.

There was a short wait, but we were sat pretty quickly during July 4^th. Had the Love Street beer. Great flavor! Light beer. It was so good, I ordered another. Atmosphere is nice. Casual dress, tvs around to watch games.

This is a bar which is perfect in the right time and place. One of my favorite places– I just keep going back! Never had bad food. There are tons of different beers on tap.
Live music once in a while, maybe pretty often on special days. It is always packed.
I love their drinks. My favorites all the time are margaritas and Cosmo. Their drinks are always good and strong. A little pricey maybe because they put a lot of ice.
Food menus are quite good! I had the half order of fish and chips which was a plenty amount of food. My bf was in love with the sweet chili garlic sauce on the chicken strips!
Great atmosphere but no smoke-​free area. The outdoor area is also very dog friendly. Staffs here are always friendly. Looks like I just found my new local spot.

Came here for the first time this past week and I am definitely a fan of the place. Really loved the décor and setting it gives you. Looks like an English pub with their signs and decorations.
The service was great, our waitress was Mary, and she was one of the better waitresses I’ve had in awhile. Very talkative and seemed genuinely interested with the things we had to say. On top of our drinks and food and was a very pleasant experience.
The food was actually quite good. Started off with the pulled pork sliders, meshed with the coleslaw, and they were an excellent start to our meal. For my entrée, I got the Chicken Tikka Misala. Haven’t had Indian food in awhile and thought I’d give it a shot. It was delicious! Lots of meat, great flavor, and the naan bread was pretty decent. The wife ordered the Mac n Cheese entrée and that was awesome. Tons of cheese, bacon, and chicken! Yum!
Took away a star due to the beer menu. They had serveral beers that weren’t on their menu. I really wish they would have a rotating beer menu so I could see everything they had to offer.
Either way, I know we will definitely be coming back here and hope to sit in Mary’s section again!
