Best sushi we’ve had since moving! I’ve been craving it all week and can’t wait to go back! Staff is also so nice… can’t go wrong here!

I decided to explore the places around my new job and wanted to try some Asian food options. I took a look at their menu before I came in, because I wanted to try the $ 10 lunch special for 2 rolls advertised online. Well, I sit down and look at the menu, but I do not see the option for that. I ask my waitress and she says they no longer serve that option anymore. I told her it was still advertised on their website and she just laughed and said… they don’t do it anymore. I laughed and said well, maybe you should take that off the website. The chefs heard this too, but none of them really gave me a response. just laughed, said sorry and walked away. I think the right thing to do is offer it to customers because they failed to update the website, but I just let it go and ordered one Rainbow Roll off from their regular menu. Their roll was actually pretty delicious and a good portion so I left in an okay mood because I don’t mind paying more for good food. I was going to add this place to my regular spots for work lunch when I’m not packing my lunch, because I was content with my food and with what I saw other ppl eating. About a month later, I check back the website to see if they still have not updated it and what I see is that they have updated their website, but the 2 rolls for $ 10 is still there. Hmmmm. You don’t offer what is on the website when a customer comes in, but you leave the special on there when you update the page? Bait and Switch much? This place is so close to my job. and I wanted to come here more often because I love Japanese food and there aren’t that many good Asian places nearby my new job. But come on… this is shady. I will be driving a little further down to get my sushi fix.

We had a party of 3 adults and 2 kids. My daughter is only 3 and just had rice. They charged us gratuity for our party. We usually tip well, but the service was not up to par, so having them add gratuity was an insult. The food was ok not the best sushi I’ve had, the one nice thing was they had a salad bar. The ahi tower was ok. They did bring us some an orange cut into an animal.

I’ve been several times in the last week for all you can eat at lunch(7 days/week) for $ 11.99. It’s primarily a select few rolls, but tastes fresh and service is on point. They make you feel like they want you to come back.

Salmon belly nigiri was delicious! Also sampled a California roll, and Unagi roll. I would order them all again. Friendly staff, casual restaurant, fast service, economical price point. They also have lunch specials(double nigiri is no longer offered though). Give them a whirl.

Love this place. Their sushi is fresh and delicious. I’ve had the hot geisha, fire role, ahi tuna tower, love roll and baked salmon roll. All fresh and flavorful. It’s my new favorite sushi place and reasonably priced. I like it better than blue fish. Jeenee ends up being our server whenever we visit and she’s awesome. Always courteous and makes suggestions. She knew my mom likes her food spicy and gave us great suggestions. Will be back.

No need to hold back stars here. Very friendly staff, good selections, an all you eat sushi choice, and clean bathrooms. My first time in and will be back. I had the bimbop and my wife had yakitori. Really enjoyed it.

Food was Ok… wait staff was friendly. This is not a four star sushi joint… Tuna tower was good. Seared tuna sushi was dry. The rest was meeehhhh… just ok. Won’t be going back.

Yes! Yes! Yes! I have been searching for a new sushi place in Frisco and this it it! The sushi was excellent! Fresh and prepared perfectly; great sized plates. This place is new, clean, large and has a good bar and patio area. It is not a dungeon like some sushi places. I’m thrilled this place opened right in Frisco. Reasonably priced, same as most places, way less than Blue Fish and better tasting! Go! Enjoy! Update: Have been several times and still great! Easy parking. Good food and great price. Patio seating!

We’ve eaten here several times and really enjoyed everything we ordered. The complimentary salad bar is not large(first sushi restaurant I’ve ever encountered a salad bar so how can you really complain about the size??), but the veggies are always fresh. The wait staff are very polite and courteous. This is on our favorite places to eat list.

Décor was nice. Bathroom clean. The servers were an ehhh. One didn’t seem like he wanted to be there and the other was friendly. The menus were ready to go with the ayce. My son inhales everything so needed a place like this to get his fix. He wanted Tomo but needed to keep our meal at a minimum. Ordered 4 rolls(king shrimp tempura, salmon skin roll, donkatsu roll, & Spicy pork roll) and 2 pieces of sashimi($ 1/pc) on 1st run. Have to say — so much rice on the rolls! And I love rice but dayuuuummmm. Needless to say I removed as much rice as possible and the remaining sushi parts were delicious. Ordered 6 more rolls and I swear the rice doubled. Luckily my vacuum cleaner aka son ate it all. I probably will only come here to feed my son otherwise I will stick with Tomo Sushi.

The service was fantastic and efficient! We were greeted right away and met with smiles from those who worked in the restaurant. The food was not the best I’ve tasted by far. There is a small/mini salad bar that is self-serve and easily accessible. It contains a fair amount of toppings and three salad dressings to choose from. The salad bar is also all you can eat, so that is good! We ordered monkey brains which is stuffed mushrooms with crab meat and spicy tuna with some kind of drizzle as an appetizer. Entrees we ordered were hibachi beef and vegetables and combo fried rice with beef and shrimp. The beef was a bit tough in both dishes and we had to gnaw on it like Chevy Chase in Christmas Vacation! The fried rice had a taste that I just couldn’t get with. If you’re looking for the hibachi grill, this restaurant doesn’t have it. You order hibachi from the menu and it is brought to you in a skillet that is hot, similar to fresh cooked fajitas. The portions were a small too. I REALLY wanted to like this place, but I just can’t no matter how hard I try! The service was great for sure!

You cannot beat this deal! All you can eat for 11.99! And the rolls are GOOD! You’re given a laminated menu with a list of the options you can choose from. The menu has a picture of the roll, the reference number on the paper ordering sheet, the name and the ingredients! This made ordering so simple! The salad bar isn’t grand, but has the basics and is good! The service on Friday at lunch was great! They were very attentive and were quick to put in our round 2 order. This is a new fav!

I love trying out new restaurants so was excited to have a new sushi joint in town. They had an all-you-eat special for December so what better way to sample a new restaurant’s food right? Not so much. I was not impressed with the rolls. The rolls were not rolled tightly enough and fell apart easily. I do agree with many of the other reviews about the rolls having too much rice and the ends were nothing but rice. We ended up not being able to finish some of the tempura rolls since there was way too much rice. Apparently we did not notice that there was a $ 0.60 charge per uneaten piece. Luckily our waiter, whom I think was one of the owners, pointed it out to us and said she’ll take care of it this time. However, we did enjoy the kids all-you-can-eat for $ 6. It was great for our boys. One had fried rice which was very good. The other had teriyaki chicken with steamed rice and edamame. The portions were small and perfect for them and they could have more if they wanted. I highly would suggest they keep the kids all-you-can-eat on their regular menu. There are just too many other good sushi restaurants in town and I already have my favorites that Hikari unfortunately didn’t live up to. I honestly wish them the best because it is a family owned business. I hope they step up their game.

Passed by this place last night. Never heard of it before but I was intrigued. Looked at Unilocal reviews, also learned it was a newer place(only open a month) and wanted to try it more so I went the next day. The sushi was super fresh and big portions. I don’t understand the reviews about the staff being rude or too much cause they were all great. The complimentary salad bar was nice and not as bad as reviewed here also. The chef area is clear to see(unlike most bars where all you see is the food) and it was the first time I’ve been able to see it made which was cool. The guy we had made us some yummy cucumber/crab roll things on the house which was nice. Only complaint was the prices were a little high. Not enough to deter me though! Will certainly be back!!!

This place is gross. Everyone else writing reviews must be friends of the owner. Gross salad bar. Half their menu was unavailable during their«grand» opening. Rolls are cut too big to fit in your mouth. Miso soup was cold. Waiter had no idea what anything on the menu was. Need I go on?
