Only issue I have with this place is that while they seem to be trying the staff is so lost. It took 3 people to figure out how to put my order Into the computer(all it was was 2 orders of wheat pecan pancakes). Management should really train the staff to operate the computer systems better. Other than that the food was pretty decent and the staff was nice.

Denny’s… slow service and long wait… on the other side — delicious mozarella sticks and burgers, not the best option around the area but works 24⁄7 and always there if we need to eat lol

Typical Denny’s; we were there on a Sunday morning and it was busy as usual. The service was slow to start but improved after we got waited on, our table ordered the pumpkin pecan pancakes meal, meat/bacon omelette and scrambled eggs with toast. Nothing extraordinary about our meals, although the pumpkin pancakes were very good. This is a great place to catch a quick breakfast at a reasonable price but if you go on the weekends expect a wait.

Ok so the service was shitty from the start. We walked in the hostess took 2 menus and never told my husband and I we are supposed to follow her. We let her walk all the way the the seat drop the menus. She came back and pointed us I the direction of where we were supposed to sit. The table was dirty. I asked for it to be wiped down which the waitress did but left it wet(a huge pet peeve of mine) The waitress was friendly but paid no attention to detail. We had no silverware. I asked for water with NO ice and a cup of coffee she sat down my water 15 minutes later(no coffee) she looked at the glass with a big black dirt spot and still say it down and walked away. 10 minutes later I asked for my coffee from another waitress and I got it right away but still no silverware. I finally got another water but this time with ice smh. I figured I should just drink it since the glass at least looked clean. I ordered the grand slam which which was pretty good but the service was so awful it was hard to enjoy the meal.

I enjoy the food and you can tell they are working hard but the service is not great. The food taste good but I ordered sour dough bread and received rye. I asked for sugar and hot sauce. After 10 min I got up and got it myself from another table. Don’t think I will be back for a long time.

I recently ate here with my two girls. Our server was very personable and well known by all the regular patrons, who asked for him by name, and sat in his section. The food was typical for Denny’s, but I would definitely return for the great customer service that STANLEY offers. He had a positive attitude that made you feel at home. Thanks Stanley! Keep up the good work.

The décor for this Denny’s is a little different from the others, which is refreshing. I like the layout of this one over the one on commercial blvd not even two miles away. They now have gluten free options on the menu which is great and the gluten free English muffins is pretty good. The wait staff are okay, I don’t expect much from a Denny’s anyway. It’s cheap diner food any time you want it.

We arrived on a pretty cold morning and it was just as cold inside. There we’re dirty tables, no hostess, & servers yelling at servers to get the front door. The food was standard, but service was suuuuper slow! The staff needs to get their act together.

We did stop here for breakfast. Still great, friendly service. I go nuts when it’s pumpkin season, so I ordered the pumpkin coffee with the pumpkin pancakes. AMAZING. You rock Denny’s!

Awesome place for brunch or dinner, if you are on a road or just run out of eggs at home. I like their omelettes, hash browns, dark toast and tilapia! I have to admit their food is not that great for your waist but you can choose lower calorie dishes with egg whites and veggies, and skip the waffles and whip cream. Easy to say but honestly, after their huge portions I never feel like eating a dessert! I also think that their prices are good, except omelettes used to be bit cheaper. But salmon or tilapia dish under $ 10 is amazing, even though small. Great place to come with family and kids as they have items on a menu specially for little messy customers! I also love their coffee, tastes really good. The customer service is fast and friendly. I would give 5 stars if they had more healthy dishes on menu.

Decent food for any meal of the day. Been here twice the past two days for late lunch and breakfast. Never had to wait for a table. Once we sat it took some time for our waiter to come by and take our drink and food orders. Service was slow in that sense but they did a decent job taking care of all the tables with 1 – 2 servers. I ordered a chicken avocado Caesar salad. The avocados were actually fresh and the chicken and croutons were plentiful. The serving size was large enough for two people. The second time around I ordered the French toast dish from their $ 2,$ 4,$ 6,$ 8 menu. It had two slices of French toast topped in powdered sugar with two egg white, hash and two slices of bacon. The hash was the best part of the dish. It was crispy and cut so thinly. It filled up half the dish. The bacon slices were thin but cooked til it was crispy. Overall, great place to go to get a solid meal.

This is probably the best Denny’s I’ve been to. It’s clean, newly renovated, and the staff is super friendly. The food always looks way above par, especially for a Denny’s. I usually avoid this chain at all costs, but this is my new go-to!

My girlfriend and I go on vacation every year to Fort Lauderdale. We make it a point every year to go to Denny’s once for breakfast during our week off. We always go to this location because it is convenient for us. The last two times we went everything was awesome. This time things were pretty bad. Upon arrival to Denny’s I saw our host Cleetus. I named him Cleetus because he was missing his upper teeth and was in his mid 30s. He was nice and sat us at our table. I thought it was odd for them to choose a host of that nature but whatever I’m here for a typical greasy delicious Denny’s breakfast, I can get over it. We then met our waitress, Latoya. I nick named her Latoya cause of her gold teeth and poor customer service skills. Latoya was nice but just extremely slow in everything. I ordered the lumberjack and my girlfriend got the eggs over my hammy. We also got two coffees and split one Orange Juice. The coffee and OJ took 5 – 10 minutes to get there. Aren’t those usual items that should be quickly served at breakfast? We were then served our breakfast. Latoya gave my girlfriend her eggs over my hammy. My girlfriend thought it was an omelet, but it came in a sandwich or omelet option. Latoya never gave my girlfriend this option and just plopped the sandwich on the table with an «oh well» kind of response. She then gave me the Lumberjack I ordered and I asked for toast with it which she forgot. The toast came out 10 minutes after I got my breakfast. By the time I got my toast the meal was cold. We asked Latoya to refill our coffees and that took forever. I would understand if the place was jam packed and was a busy weekend morning but it was a normal Friday at 10am; it was slow. I will not be going back to Denny’s again after this experience and our yearly tradition is now ruined lol. I guess we will have to make our way to IHOP or the Cypress Nook in Pompano Beach from now on! The food and service are way better!

[I can only give this a 3-star rating; however, I’m prone to give it 3−½ stars, if I could.] Denny’s is Denny’s: You pretty much get what you get, the way it’s done at any other Denny’s. I’ve been to a number of Denny’s on my road travels throughout the U.S. and the food orders are always decent to very good. Personally, I’ve never had a horrible experience at this franchise. That said, I am strictly focusing this review on the food taste and quality from this morning’s breakfast. I have to say that I absolutely love restaurants that serve hamburgers at any time of day!(As opposed to this, «It’s not 11:00 a.m. sh*t!!! Ah wan’ mah meat when ah wan’ mah meat!!!) ;) Okay, I ordered a double cheese burger(natch!), with spicy fries.(Carla(our waitress) was a friendly lady who’s no doubt been doing this for years.) Our table’s orders arrived fast and sizzling. The double meat patty — I presume chuck — was more hand-hewn rather than pressed and formed patty, which was a nice-n-homey touch. The meat was meaty, juicy, tasty and contained no gristle; the bun was soft and fresh. Toppings were basic(lettuce, tomato, red onion, one pickle slice(!!) — not spear — and melted American cheese) and fresh. The whole shebang was very large and overall mighty tasty! Spicy fries, on the other hand, was basic McDonald’s-like fries tossed in some kind of relatively nondescript spices — nothing special, but good with mustard, non-the-way… Overall, it was a filling and tasty, non-conforming, breakfast. :)

I don’t think the grapefruit juice here at Denny’s is real. It tastes as though real grapefruit juice would if it were watered down or had lots of sugar added(it had taste, but artificial and with not much texture). I am still researching for nutritional information to confirm this. For now it is just speculation. And in the meantime I won’t order the same mistake twice. Our host was very kind and placed our party at the table of our choice in the back corner of the restaurant where we had space to spread out into two little tables for our party of five. The floor was busy enough but not packed to the gills as many a diner ought to be on a Saturday before lunch time. I hoped it might be a good sign that every employee had a stop watch around their necks. Eyes on the clock could mean better service. However, our service was slow and any awareness of this only caused tension. Our waitress easily became flustered and start pointing fingers at a trainee who was merely busting her ass and being passively polite to everyone’s faces then quietly apologetic for leaving out critical parts of the order. It was as if by disappearing from the fray she was admitting that she kind of dropped the ball. Then when the master waitress was bringing out some ordered extra items that our kind but nonchalant trainee had perhaps forgotten to convey(drinks, toast, etc.), she became snarly and told another party«you’ll have to wait, there’s a problem with THIS table» and pointing not too subtly at us as if WE were her biggest problem of the day instead of her overly contentious attitude and her trainee’s timidness. When we left, she apologized to us on behalf of the trainee, one who couldn’t have been at fault for every single thing that went awry, but was an easy scapegoat because the trainer probably had enough of her own work to do and didn’t feel like she had to be bothered with other people’s rookie mistakes on her watch. To me, she was an awful trainer whose mopey attitude probably made the younger trainee feel out of place. Her apology and $ 3 voucher off a future meal seemed to be too much like an unfair accusation of the new person for everyone’s discomfort rather than an admittance that whoever had put this lady in charge of new employee orientation could have been reprehensible. What I liked about this restaurant was the historical photos of diners gone by, and how when the food eventually came out, it was even still edible.

As Denny’s is a chain that most people are acquainted with and because the menus are all pretty much the same, I only rate this Denny’s in comparison to other Denny’s and not in comparison to other competing restaurants. There are some fairly good Denny’s in the chain as well as some real crap holes. This particular Denny’s, though the facility is showing some age, is one of the better ones. It’s clean, orderly, well run with rather good, polite service and as such a notch above the others. Although I’m not really a fan of any Denny’s, I’ve given this one Four Stars just on the basis that it is clearly so much better than most of the other Denny’s Restaurants I’ve come across.
