Whataburger

They raised their prices. The food is just ok. But for the same money you can have a nice gourmet burger from anywhere else. Nothing memorable here.

Whataburger is what a Whataburger is and I love me a Whataburger but this location is a miss, the services is bad. I’ve gone many times but it’s a hit and a miss. More of a miss. Double, triple check your order specially thru the drive thru.

Ok people. DO NOT order a chicken biscuit in the morning. Seriously, if they’re not going to keep some patties already fried, they shouldn’t have it on the breakfast menu. It takes minimum 8 minutes to fry that thing. If you’re at all planning to get to work on time, forget about this restaurant.
They will politely refuse to add cream and sugar to your coffee for you. They must be used to serving 4 armed people who can make coffee while driving and simultaneously leaving them 5 star reviews on Unilocal.Unless that’s you, STAY AWAY. I mean, damn…

I was very pleased with the service I got at this location last friday. The front counter, window server and one of the cooks (?-not sure could have been a manager) all acknowledged me when I approached the counter. And answered all of my questions I had regarding one of their products, I think it was called Santa fe patty melt.
Oh my gosh you must try this patty melt! It had grilled poblano and red bell peppers, grilled onions and monterrey jack cheese! Oh and TWO meat patties! Mmmmmm! Mmmmmm! My food was still hot when I got it home and was made as I ordered it.
I will definitely return to this location if I’m in the area. Thank you for the great food and service! =)

I made a Unilocal account just to make this review. Do not go here, I waited 13 minutes in the drive thru at 7:45 am for a honey butter chicken biscuit and finally just left after never receiving it. You would think that I ordered a rare item not on the menu.

The employees here always have a sad story and can be pretty rude. I say eat somewhere else.

Ghetto as hell. Hate the service, but love the food. Thank goodness there’s always another Whataburger somewhere close by. I don’t like coming to this location.

I will NEVER return to this Whataburger location.
On my last trip to this location, the lady at the speaker got very frustrated with my very simple question about the menu. When I got to the window, the cashier held out my bag of food. I very obviously had my cash in my right hand and reached out to take the offered bag with my left hand. She snatched the bag away from me and condescendingly said, «You have to pay first, honey. You know how it works.»
I wish I had just driven off at that point, but I was so taken aback by her rudeness that I just went with it. As a former fast food manager, I would have fired an employee on the spot if they had spoken to a customer that way!
The last straw to me was that my email to corporate Whataburger was never returned even though I asked for a follow up email or phone call. Their lack of response left such a bad taste in my mouth that I haven’t returned to Whataburger since that incident, although I’m sure I will eventually. Even so, I will never return to the Altamesa/​McCart location.

I miss Whataburger too. My job moved me to Chicago and I haven’t had a good burger since I’ve been here. All these people eat is pasta and pizza.

I don’t know if it is just the one’s near Fort Worth, but Whataburger is disgusting.

What is there not to love about Whataburger??? It is one of the first places I eat when I get to Texas, and one of the last places we eat as we leave. My husband and I each get a Justaburger (smaller burger with onions, mustard, and pickles), and we split the chicken finger meal (chicken fingers, texas toast, fries). For some reason, their ketchup in the little containers tastes so much better than regular ketchup.

i luvved going here when i was pulling an all niter for an exam the next morning! i would recommend on getting some late nite taquitos! theyre perfect if you dont want anything too heavy or greasy late at night!
