Del Taco

This is the place where I get my cheap Mexican food fix. Staff is friendly and accommodating. I always order 2 bean and cheese burritos with extra green sauce. One thing they need to control is the amount of flies in the restaurant. I’ve counted at least 5+ flies on the tables and chairs. Other than that, this location is great!

What can I say about Del Taco? I’ve been going to Del Taco for well over 35 years, ever since I can remember, and it’s my favorite fast food. Here’s what to get, don’t argue.
1. Green burrito, extra cheese.
2. Del beef burrito. Get ketchup, you’ll need to add ketchup. Trust me.
3. Quesadilla. Not the bullshit spicy jack, the OG cheddar. Get mild sauce. Use large amounts of mild sauce. Like one packet per wedge. Think of the wedge of the quesadilla as a vessel to get large amounts of mild sauce into your pie hole.
4. Classic Chicken Burrito. I don’t know what the creamy sauce is, but damn it’s good.
5. Crunchy taco. One packet of mild sauce per taco. Blows away the tacos at the Bell.
6. Bun taco. It’s a taco on a hamburger bun. Genius.
Not feeling like ‘Mexican’ food? Can’t go wrong with a Double Del Cheeseburger (delicious) and fries (the second best fast food fries out there).

I really enjoy this place. The management here seems always happy and they are leading by example here. I think this is the best Del taco location I ever been to. It is always clean and they are always friendly. Also I love Del taco food. I am happy and content here. I been coming here since it first opened. Love this place!!!

When on the go and you’re wallet is hurting, chicken softs, spicy Jack quesadillas, and crinkle cut fries will save you, your stomach, and your wallet.
The drive thru service has always been superb and they have yet to mess up on my order.
Remember guys. inferno is and del scorcho is just hot. I learned that today from Manny.

Their neon sign says drive thru open late but when I pulled up at 1030 the recording said the were closed. Jack in the box across the street is open until at least mid night every night.

Slowest line ever… I should have been offered a free cookie for the wait. The pull ahead into the parking lot method works and drive through restaurant s need to use it with crazy customers, because nobody should wait for a problem customer who is making weird requests.
I love del taco and this location is occasionally convenient, not often, but occasionally.

I really just have to say the workers here are consistently efficient and friendly. I have never seen fast food workers so happy before. They have never messed up my order and they are always in a good mood whether it’s in the afternoon or midnight. It is truly an anomaly.

word to all my fellow cheap-​asses out there: do NOT throw out your expired Del Taco coupons because they are good here! you read that right, folks: the kind people at this fine establishment will take your expired coupons, at least they did last time i checked. how cool is that? oh, and free food when you take the survey.

I eat at Del Taco quite often and this one is. The best. I drive through at 7:30 in the morning and the guy working the window is always really friendly. There portions and temperature of food is always good. Best of the locations.

Del Taco is my favorite fast food joint. I mean, it’s Mexican food combined with the delicious unhealthiness of fast food. What’s not to love?
My boyfriend and I got four beer battered shrimp tacos ($ 2.09 each), two mini quesadillas (.50 each), hashbrowns (1.50), and a strawberry lemonade ($ 1.00) for a grand total of ~&12!
I like how they have a nicely organized basket of sauces on each table so you don’t have to keep getting up for more sauce. The beer battered tacos were yummy and I like how they pack your limes separately so they don’t make your tacos soggy.
I really like the strawberry lemonade! Sweet and yummy with real strawberries on the bottom.

It is what it is… a fast food joint. This location though seems to have decent staff compared to others. Immediately pulling up to the window after ordering we were greeted with a smile and a kind hello from a gentleman working the window.
For a fast food, this place is alright with the friendliness of the staff, but the food on the other hand lost some stars. I had odered the Chipotle Chicken Burrito and was expecting a nicely, evened out burrito to fill my belly with happiness. Man, was that thing salty though! Another docking of points in my books was also how the burrito was put together. It was like they expected me to eat it like a piece of corn (side to side) and not just on one end. I was in different «lands» with each 3 bites. Horrible. Lettuce only land… then chicken land… then the sauce divide.
Although it was a mediocre experience with the food, I will be returning nonetheless because of the hours, staff, and that it’s fast. With that said… it’s decent for fast food… so 3 stars it is. :-)

Clean location, good workers. Nice portions of meat in their tacos (chicken soft tacos there are nicely filled with their chicken).

With a flotilla of other fast-​dining spots in the immediate area, you shouldn’t have to settle for this underachieving Del.
I did — despite the fact I was less than blown away with its undersized and underseasoned green bean burritos, provided with underinvolved and unsmiling crew members at the drive-​through window — and promised myself that this would be my last time here. No wonder it’s nearly always empty.

I come here in the morning about once a week for their $.79 breakfast burritos, which is a good value, and the lady working the drive thru is always in such a great mood.

I realize that it is really a stupid thing to review a gynormous chain restaurant, especially fast food… and it’s something I thought I’d never do. But I’ve had to stop at this particular Del Taco a couple of times on my way to class in the evenings… they are VERY pleasant! Such a nice group of employees. So, actually shouting out a holla to an individual location isn’t such a stupid thing afterall really. This one deserves some Unilocal cred.
I’ve only gone through the drive-​thru because I am «on the run» but it looks great, they are fast and have always been very accurate and I’ve received the correct order every time (and I mix it up on them occassionally).

This Mexican fast food restaurant just recently finished a total makeover. Completely new interior featuring new tables and chairs, new floor, new design, etc. Quite impressive! Restaurant is very clean and appealing! Food is tasty. Portion sizes are above average. And costs are quite reasonable.
One glaring problem remains still unaddressed from previous visits: Food handlers not wearing gloves and not seen washing their hands!!!

Service is great!
Perfect order.
Staff is friendly.
Very clean.
Drive thru is always a breeze.
When you ask for extra sauce, wait for it… THEY ACTUALLY GIVE IT TO YOU! because we all know we’re a bit of a sauce whore.
Waaaayyy better than the one in cypress on knott.

i want to start off by apologizing… bc i used to BASH del taco and always complain of how nasty their food was and how taco bell is better… but when i tried the chicken soft taco (w/​out the white sauce) i gotta say… now i’m freaking obsessed w/​the chicken soft taco (w/​out the white sauce)
1^st of all when i had the chicken soft taco years ago (w/​the white sauce) i HATED it and realized… it’s that stupid sauce. idk what it is sour cream/​skeet skeet UGH gross lol but it’s freaking gross and makes the taco taste like SHIT ugh that sauce is disgusting
anywhoos a couple months ago my bf wanted del taco and i refused i was being a brat saying how nasty that shit is and how i want taco bell (since he hates taco bell i wanted him to suffer haha), but he told me he used to not like the chicken tacos, until he got em w/​out that nasty white sauce… so i gave in and tried it.
omg the chicken soft taco w/​out that nasty sauce is really good. it’s simple, but delish. big chunks of chicken w/​lettuce and cheese in a soft tortilla yum and honestly if you like it spicy like me… you get the del inferno and smother it generously in the taco… WHEWWWW it’s spicy but it’s SO FREAKING GOOD yum.
ps every thursday is chicken soft taco thursday: 3 chicken tacos for $ 2.09

and others are right they are STINGY w/​their sauce esp the women who work there… the men will fill up your bag w/​sauce, but the women are stingy so i literally will sit there until i’m satisfied w the amount of sauce… and once i’ve even went in to get more lol i mean common 3 tacos and 1 hot sauce… wtf??? i’m korean bitch I NEED MY HOT SAUCE lol

I am a fan of Del Taco, especially the locations that are open 24 hours like this Del Taco in Fullerton. I’m from the East Coast and there are no Del Taco locations out there, but plenty of Bells. I prefer Del Taco over Taco Bell anyday since it’s something different including burgers, fries, crispy fish tacos, and churros on the very Americanized Mexican fast food menu.
The combos with fries and drink are priced right! The #12 Combo ($ 5.19) Spicy Chicken Burrito & Chicken Soft Taco, small fries, and small drink is my favorite, as well as the Deluxe Chili Cheddar Fries. For my breakfast, I enjoy the Del Breakfast Bowl ($ 2.99) which has scrambled eggs, hash brown sticks, chili, jalepeno bacon, sour cream, cheese, and cilantro and I add some Del Scorcho and Del Inferno sauce packets to the mix for some kick. Recently, I had the #5 Combo Fish Tacos (deep fried) here which were decent to me, and with Rubio’s in the area, I’ll get my fish taco fix there. The Churro ($ 0.99) is a nice sweet ending to my cheap fast Del Taco meal and big late night snack.
I would’ve given Del Taco 5 stars since I love the menu and enjoy the food, but I do get nervous when I’m watching the staff make the food without wearing any gloves. How they got an A is my question? Other locations including the «A» rated Baldwin Park location do not use gloves either. But anyways, I’ll still continue to enjoy Del Taco during my short stays in the area.
