I’m not a huge fan of commercial pizza places, but I wanted to stay in to catch the hockey game on tv, and decided to call my local Papa John’s for delivery. I went on the website and they had a special for $ 15, a large pizza up to five toppings. It was cheaper than buying a small pizza, which is what I wanted since it was just going to be two of us eating. Anyway, there’s a whole bunch of specials online but most of them are large orders. My $ 15 pizza with tax and delivery came to $ 20 and change, or $ 25 including the driver’s tip. I had the delivery set for 7:15 and it arrived at 7:30. Pizza wasn’t hot and on the small size(for a large) and 2 tiny ladies almost polished off the large by ourselves. There’s no way it would have fed three people, but only you had other sides. I asked for plates and even called them. No plates delivered. Well, It did the job, but will reconsider delivery service unless I really really wanted pizza.

I ordered pizza from this location, and the girl worker said it would be ready for pickup in 25 minutes. I got there after 35 minutes, and my order was nowhere to be found. The guy worker said my name wasn’t on their system. I asked them specifically to check for the kinds of pizzas I ordered, and they said they weren’t there. I checked my phone to make sure I called the right number, and I did. I told them I talked to a girl worker and that girl worker looked for my order again in their system, and miraculously she found them! She said that the pizzas I ordered were still in the oven and that I needed to wait another 5 – 7 minutes. I waited outside in my car with my 4 hungry kids and after 5 minutes a guy worker came with two pizzas to give me. I was so excited that they were done! But then he called me someone else’s name. I asked him if they were the kinds I ordered and he said no. Were the pizzas mine then?! NOPE. Totally a different person’s order. Then after another 5 minutes, the same guy came back and called me that other person’s name again. I told him that wasn’t my name. I asked for what kind of pizzas he was holding, and they ended up being mine after all. They just got my name wrong from the VERYBEGINNING and didn’t bother to check the inside of the boxes of the pizzas that were done. All together it took over 45 min. to get my 2 medium pizzas because of their mistake. Oh, and one of the pizzas I ordered was a pepperoni and pineapple. Each slice pretty much only had one pepperoni. I honestly am not one to complain, but I was so disappointed. The only reason why I’m giving it two stars and not 1 is because that girl worker mentioned something about them training. I’m hoping it’s a mistake that won’t happen to anyone else. I think I’ll think twice before I order at this location again. They didn’t even say sorry for making the mistake. If you do order here, make sure you take the employee’s name down who took your order and double-check that they know your name and your order so this doesn’t happen to you either.

DONOTGIVEYOURBUSINESSHERE. I’m not upset. I’m disappointed. Today’s consumer is so smart and resourceful, there is no room for terrible customer service. Knowing this, businesses should utilize their employees’ service as a competitive advantage. Competition is everywhere. This location: FAIL! Wait time: 3+ hours, and we NEVERGOTOURORDER! We even drove down to the store and walked out EMPTYHANDED! An hour into waiting for my order, I called the location and politely asked for an update. The young girl who initially took my order could not find it in the system and transferred the call to a manager. The manager found our order and informed me that the pizza would be at the door in 5 – 10 minutes. Often, it’s not what you say, but how you say it… I felt like I was being cut off, interrogated, and corrected during the conversation with both ladies. I informed the manager of my concern. She ‘thanked’ me for my feedback then hung up on me! Another hour and a half passes,(2 hrs and 45 minutes total), and I call again. ‘Mark’ answers, and I politely inquire about our order. He can’t find the order in the system. Again, I was cut off and interrogated for my information to find the order. The ‘service’ offered by Mark was leading to no solution. I asked if I could just come into the store to find some kind of solution. Imagine that, a customer providing service to a business to help them expedite a process they messed up in the first place! «Come find me, I’ll be here all night», Mark said. It was like a school yard call out… wow. I walked in with a smile on my face trying to figure out why my order was not in there system. After all, the girl who took my order also verbally ‘approved’ my credit card purchase for the order. At this point, I would rather have the transaction reversed. Long story short, the older, hungrier, grouchier family member I walked in with had enough of Mark’s snarky and undermining remarks and dropped a few expletives… understandable, but certainly not acceptable!(I apologize to the kid working in the back lol!) Obviously, we were kicked out haha! After sending my family member to the car, I walked back in and apologized to Mark. However, I still needed a solution to my problem! I kindly asked Mark for a manager’s, or a corporate number. He accepted my apology, asked me to leave and said I could find the information online. I hope the kid working in the back could vouch for me! We walked in and presented the problem politely. Mark was just plain rude :/. He obviously doesn’t need our business. So Bummed!(And hungry)

What kind of idiot doesn’t let a customer mix sauces? I like when my sauces intermingle. So Yum. Guess I’m going to call top class pizza cuz they will mix any sauce I’d like. Too bad… I really wanted to order that big cookie.

First of all, they should have even less stars, because the guy who posted a «five star review». HEFRIGGINWORKSTHERE!!! Is that even allowed? Gotta be honest… moved to the neighborhood six months ago, and the first pizza was really good. So, I kept ordering. I have ordered 3 more times since then, and it has gotten progressively worse. This last time was so bad, I won’t order again. I don’t know what happened, but it was cardboard. They had a two topping pizza special for $ 12. I ordered pepperoni and extra cheese. The pizza came, and had so little cheese that there were bald spots on it. Not to mention, they have a $ 3.25 «delivery charge» that they tack on(which I read up on, and little-or-none goes to the driver). So, I still had to tip the driver $ 2.00, because I know they don’t get paid a lot by Papa John’s. With tax, I ended up paying $ 18.50 for a tasteless one topping pizza that is advertised as a 2 topping pizza for $ 12.00. The«delivery charge» is basically a way for them to still charge you full price, but make you feel like you are getting a deal. You can pick the pizza up, and avoid the charge, but I can’t say that I would drive to their location to pick up a pizza this bad. I looked at some of the reviews for other pizza restaurants in the area, and Papa Murphy’s on Bastanchury has much better reviews(4 ½ stars, and a decent amount of reviews), if I want to pick up. Their quality is better, and the pricing is better-or-equal to PJ’s. There are also other places nearby with much better reviews. Basically, if I am still paying $ 20.00 at the end of the day, I don’t mind paying $ 21 for better quality. Sorry Papa John’s. you need to work on your quality, if you are charging that kind of price, and throwing in hidden delivery charges that the driver doesn’t get. That is very corporate of you, and that alone is enough turn me off completely. I might forgive you if the pizza was good. it’s not.

Same great quality and taste like any other papa johns. Ordered a couple of pizzas during superbowl and as amazed at how fast they got them done considering they were really busy that day. Just a note: dont order your pizza well done if you order a thin crust.

Food tastes good. Ordered a pizza and wings. 2 stars because I was quoted 40 – 50 min wait. The order was delivered 1 hr 20 min later. No apology from driver. The food was cold by the time we got it. After 1 hour I had called the store to ask about the order. I was on hold for 9 minutes. Hung up and tried again. On hold for 2 minutes. That’s when we saw the driver pull up. Maybe I called at an extremely busy time. We had placed our order online.

Don’t order delivery. I only tipped the delivery guy $ 2 to be nice, but very unfriendly service. My food was cold and damp, and I asked them for garlic sauce and I was given marinara. Overall: Yeah, stick with Domino’s, better food, better service.

The new online ordering system is great. We order the pizza from home online, then we pick it up without any problems. Well done
