My boyfriend and I were craving tacos and we stopped by this place. It’s pretty good! I would come back here again, the people who works here are very nice but it can be a little tight if it gets busy. Make sure to bring cash to avoid taking out cash from the ATM :]

Second time here and not my lst, they have very good tacos and a big selection of different types of fresh salsa. And the price is great. I got 4 tacos and a soda for $ 6

This places is terrible! I ordered two Vegetarian Sopes and a Vegetarian Burrito to go, when I got home all that was in my food had was a little bit of beans and TON of lettuce. I paid $ 15 for lettuce!!! I am so disappointed because I even paid extra for guacamole, which they didn’t even give me! I ordered in Spanish because I’m Mexican and that didn’t do anything for me. I WILLNEVERGOBACKAGAIN. Don’t waste your time and money here!

Delicious food! It’s a little intimidating if you don’t speak Spanish(I’m as white as it gets) but luckily my man is bilingual so ordering was a breeze. The food was very authentic(again, according to my boyfriend who grew up as a kid in Mexico, I just believe him because I’m 5th generation Californian) and the service was very friendly and happy. Love that we live so close because it’s my new favorite torta spot!

Delicious quesadillas de huitlacoche. Many real Mexican dishes such as quesadillas de Flor de calabaza. The price is affordable and authentic salsas.

Service was super duper good. THe lady speaks limited English but she tried very hard to communicate efficiently. I speak bad spanish so we got along =) The culture was like Cheers. Locals would come in just to say hello, drop this or that off, try this or that, and all kinds of crap. That was nice. There was a local who just wanted to talk to the jefe, he was saying hi to me, but he couldn’t speak any English so he just did the catholic thingy where you move your arms across your chest…(I’m a Protestant, that means we protest against the apostate catholic church and blasphemous pope =D). Anyhoo. Four tacos and a cheese jalapeño quesadilla is $ 14.00OUCH! Pastor was delicious. I loved the nice tangy, mildly sweet bbq with the cebolla. YUMMIEEES. The quesadilla was bomb. I asked if she can add jalapenos and sin carne. I want a quesadilla not a flat burrito! gna mean? Everything was wonderful here except the price. boo hoo

fantastic! Place definitely looks and feels like a hole in the wall but Damn it do they have the best Sopes I’ve ever had outside my house :) definitely a family business and very sweet and humble. Their agua frescas are authentic and flavorful and undeniably refreshing :) the Salsa bar is one of the bests I’ve seen with a great assortment of color, spice and quantity. This place is a real gem in Fullerton :) better believe it!

— Locale Destination — It’s on S Harbor Blvd and E Valencia Dr in Fullerton. It’s in a tiny corner shopping plaza. Ambiance: Décor/atmosphere was very outdated, little dingy, casual, pop & mom shop. Small shop. Service: Very little English. It seemed friendly, but the language barrier was huge, and she couldn’t help me anything about the pricing… Payment: Cash only — ATM inside Menu: Not big menu, but there’s no price on the menu — 2 quesadillas for $ 15?! Parking: Very small but plenty of street parking if not available. — Gluttony Expedition — Salsa: Their green cilantro sauce and red hot sauce are pretty good! They’ll give you chips with beans and salsas! Papas y chorizo quesadilla: Good! Potato and nice not-so-spicy chorizo in it! Good, but it was kinda small — even for me. $ 7 seems a little overpriced for this. Carne Asada quesadilla: Nothing special. — Conqueror’s Deduction — Papas y chorizo quesadilla and the salsas were good, however, it was a little overpriced. I don’t want to wonder how much I need to pay every time I come here. They should put the price on the menu. My BFF is white — he felt we were ripped off. I wouldn’t come back here just for this inconvenience.

Visited today as I had heard good reviews about their food. I ordered a large order totaling over $ 30 and they tell me it’s cash only. Seriously! What kind of business rejects purchases because they’re too cool to have a debit machine. I only had $ 14 cash so I was unable to purchase anything. Then the lady gets a little smart attitude like its my fault. They really need to get with the program. They lost $ 35 in sales just in myself today. Not smart business. Will never come again.

The price seems to have settled on $ 1.20 per taco. The quality has been really good with lots of meat in their tacos. The restaurant is a complete hole in the wall but that’s what one would expect. The service is friendly and the wait at 10PM has been about 10 minutes. They seem to keep busy. The restaurant is not too clean which doesn’t bother me too much. If you care about that, you probably want to avoid this place.

Please… stop yourself and come in and grab some tacos, or anything for that matter. Carnitas heres is the absolute best I’ve ever had on a consistent basis… Try them on the carnitas plate, or the tostada(jesus its good), or enchiladas, etc… and the price. amazing like a hole in the wall should be. Don’t make it hipster, keep it real and its about as close to the«real» side of Fullerton as you can get. The locals know it, eat there, and discard of the pleasantries of «sweet corn hash» or whatever gimmick there is. These guys and gals are producing authentic mexican food in a taqueria setting with great sauces, friendly faces, and just honest food.
I had the carnitas tacos. It was very tender and not as fatty like most places. Overall it was delicious. Their green and red sauce is very good. It’s flavorful and spicy. Definitely a hole in the wall taco joint that I am happy that i stumbled upon. The only issue with the place is that their menu has no price listed. Not a big deal for some people, but I would like to know how much an item cost, because they only do CASH! There is an ATM inside. Tacos are $ 1.10

I could tell you all the cool stuff about the place. But when I comes down to it, I have a plate of cooked animal parts with cilantro and onions wrapped in little tortillas. Tacos are the greatest gift on earth.

Super friendly owner/cook. «Non-spanish speaking» friendly! I sometimes have a hard time ordering at some restaurants because I don’t speak the language, but Mr La Bamba met me halfway and CAMETHROUGH with the bomb a$$ Chilaquiles with egg and Carne Asada! So bomb they call the place La Bamba, get it? Come one, come all! This place rocks!

Had lunch with a colleague here today at his suggestion and he flipped the bill so why not? I love Mexican food so another reason to try out a new spot. The pro: — The carne asada burrito is delicious — Red and green salsa are delicious — The people are friendly — Authentic Mexican food because all the customers were Mexican! The con: — Dirty little rathole of a place… I mean seriously… the place was pretty filthy.

REALLY good food. I had the Carne Asada Burrito, and my friend had the Carne Asada Quesadilla which was not a standard quesadilla, but it was delicious! They serve chips with cheese and beans before your meal with salsa and the green salsa is fantastic! I do think I was at a bit of a disadvantage not knowing Spanish… my friend did, however, so they spoke to her with questions and for our order. The place is smaller, and has about 10 tables to sit at I would say… I really, really liked the food… I wouldnt have chosen this place on my own, but I am glad we went!

I have driven by here for years and now I will be subject to driving by here even more, because I live in Anaheim, off Harbor and my Ex-wife lives in Fullerton, off Harbor. So I see this place a lot and I don’t particularly like the small center it is located in, so I avoid it, but today I’m on a mission, operation check off. I start with Taco boy on Anaheim blvd second trip check and on my way home from the gym I try La Bamba. Instantly I’m a fan because of the name and this place does seem clean. I order my tacos cabeza al pastor carnitas I prefer Barbacoa above all else, but… they don’t have it. The Al Pastor has amazing spices, although fatty The Carnitas was juicy and tender– makes me think of El Toro Bravo The Cabeza was good, but the least of the three The cook was great and yes, he brought out the food and was very nice. The cashier, not so friendly and could probably use some additional customer skills to grow the business. Their local customer was an older gentleman with some type of illness, he was yelling a lot and seemed a little out of it. I will definitely be back.

My go to spot in fullerton for mexican food. These guys take their time prepping for delicious meals. Communication is difficult if you dont speak spanish, and their prices seem to be inconsistent.
