Disgusting. Roaches everywhere. Shower doesn’t work. Pay the extra money and stay else where

Disgusting! Driving down to Orlando we decided to stop to rest. Decided to book this place, should have checked the Unilocal reviews first. Lady at front desk was nice enough and rooms looked cleaned at first glance. Luckily my wife asked me to shake off the sheets first, as soon as I pulled them back tons of little bugs scurried everywhere, like a science out of a horror movie. We went back and told them we were leaving and asked for a refund and the lady didn’t seem to shocked about the bug situation. Did not get a refund because apparently the manager has to be around to do it. Just called again today and manager is not in, going to try again tomorrow and if I get the run around will just dispute the charges. How anyone stays in this place for a night is beyond me.

Pay the little extra to stay at a different hotel! This place is disgusting. The best part of the room was the water pressure in the shower(only decent part). We read questionable reviews after reserving on hotwire so we brought our own sheets. Thank goodness we did, the sheets had black stuff on them. The dead cockroach added a nice touch to the room. The bathroom is gross, there were dead bugs on the tile and in the plastic light they added. We didn’t need to use them but the mini fridge and the microwave looked gross as well.

Staff friendly. Bathroom unaccaptable, pool disgusting and full of dirt and plastic bags(only short of some condoms floating in it). Breakfast looked like they put it out weeks ago and just close the door at ten and reopen the next morning. All linens and bedspreads had stains and holes. During the night the fridge stopped working. It was like a Mr. Bean movie from hell. :( Mut have been good a few years ago(according to reviews), but is awful now.

The staff was courteous and friendly here, and the breakfast was OK(«make your own waffle» iron, cereal, toast, etc. — a little above a continental breakfast, but not the whole nine yards kind of thing). But, the property is falling apart. We were assigned a room, but found that the electricity was out in most of it(no lights would work, no dial tone on the phone, only the bathroom light functioned). They gave us a different room. On THAT one, the card lock on the door did not work, which would have been a problem if we’d planned on going out or anything as the only way to secure the room was to engage the deadbolt from inside. The hot water knob in the shower was hinky, like it was about to fly off. The beds were OK, but the carpet was worn out and needed a good shampooing. The place needs serious maintenance and remodeling. If you’re just looking for a less expensive place to sleep for one night, it works, I guess, but … well, like the Unilocal rating system says, meh. I wouldn’t want to make it a multi-day center of operations for a vacation or business trip.

It’s your typical low end hotel off the interstate. The property is old and run down. The room was large and clean. The toilet didn’t work and the tv should have been replaced 10 years ago. I paid $ 130 with tax because it was«football weekend» in Gainesville. But the place didn’t seam full at all. This place would have been acceptable at $ 50. Pass on the free continental breakfast.
