I really dislike burger joints that charge an arm and a leg for mediocre burgers. I felt scammed after eating a 16 $ burger and fries that really didn’t excite me. Every time I took a bite I was waiting for a eureka of flavors that the warranted the price. I don’t mind spending 20 $ on burger and fries. It should at least, taste good! If I regain the courage and have the time, I will try this place out with the monthly mailed coupon in hand.

Went here on a Friday night around 6:30 and got the Triple D with Fries and a drink. Price came to a little over $ 14 dollars. The food came out pretty quick, about 5 minutes. I thought the burger was great. The ingredients tasted fresh and the burger was a nice size, very filling. The beef has a very mild flavor, it does not taste as salty as the burgers at five guys and other fast food joints, which might be a good or bad depending on your taste. The burger is also a little greasy but I did not mind. I got the regular fries and they tasted pretty standard, nothing special. My friend had the onion rings and they looked great but cost $ 2 extra to add to a combo. Overall I was satisfied with my meal and would go back again.

BGR is a bit pricey for what it is. You create your own burger. The basic burger is $ 6.99 and toppings are extra. By the time your at the bottom of the list your $ 6.99 burger just went to $ 10 and you still don’t have fries or a drink. Your best best is to get one of the burger combinations already made. It’s a better deal than ordering the toppings separate. The grilled chicken sandwich is a really good option here. It is really tender and tastes fresh. They also have options for a salmon burger, lamb burger, and veggie burger. I love the décor of the restaurant, the employees are nice, and the restaurant is kept clean. If I’m in the mood for a burger this isn’t my first choice but I’ll probably be back at some point. The food is decent, I just don’t think it’s worth as much as they charge for it.

I went on a Saturday mid-day. They weren’t too busy so I was really looking forward to a quality meal. The guy at the counter was a bit standoffish at first but then softened when I started a conversation. The burger was good. Not as tasty as 5 Guys but definitely palatable. I ordered my burger with blue cheese and bacon and a side of fries. I was a bit shocked by the price at around $ 15 but what the heck! Fries were good(loved the Chinese takeout container). In contrast to others, I liked the salt to fry ratio. Atmosphere was clean and comfortable. No gnats to be seen. Try it.

This place has declined over the years. When it first opened they were quick, accurate, and had big portions. My order this time took over 15 minutes and the portion was considerably smaller than I remembered. They also downgraded their soda machine.

A little pricey but a delicious burger every time I have been. Food is fresh. If your fries aren’t hot, just ask them for hot ones. The staff has been helpful with anything I need.

Went here before the movie theater. Menu is okay, not a lot to it but you can customize your own which I did. I made a bacon cheeseburger with an over easy egg and fries. Burger was sub par, egg was over cooked, meat was pretty much rare rather than the medium rare I ordered. The person that took my order thought I said things that I didn’t so I had to clarify a few times. The dining area was interesting with feel good music and various artist pictures. The bathroom was disgusting. Stains of random things throughout. I will not be returning here again, there’s plenty of other places to eat in this area.

So this was my 2nd visit while staying in this area. I ordered a regular burger with cedar cheese(wanted American cheese but they were out of american???) I topped my burger with onions, lettuce and tomatoes. Like other reviewers state, their burgers are missing a bit of seasoning. I guess they figure with all the toppings that one may add that it’ll make up for the lack of burger taste. Definitely over charging with this place. Nice outdoor seating and interesting décor inside. Overall it was an OK meal. Would I go out my way to come… probably not.

The fries were very tasty and cooked right and the burger itself was cooked well but the bun had that defrosted frozen taste.

*****2.5 stars***** Compared to other fast casual burger restaurants in the area, I would rank BGR somewhere towards the bottom. I feel that BGR is overpriced, especially for burgers that are bland. Yes, the patties are pretty large, but who wants to eat a burger that is tasteless?! The individual taking my order didn’t bother asking if I wanted to add any of the free fresh toppings on my burger. Lettuce, tomatoes, and mojo sauce just might have made my burger a little better. Ugh! The bacon and blue cheese that I added didn’t add much. Something definitely has to be wrong when bacon doesn’t make something taste better! I also tried their chocolate chip cookie. Again, huge, but I wasn’t a fan. Although soft, it was somewhat oily and left a weird after taste in my mouth. With regards to kids meals, why must you put a large, bbq skewer in the hot dog?! That’s just disaster waiting to happen. Also, it might be nice if they offered other beverages(e.g., milk or juice) to go with the meal rather just soda from the fountain. On the bright side, this BGR was pretty clean. No lingering trash on tables and the area around the soda fountain was fully stocked. The staff worked well together, but it did take a good amount of time to order and receive my food. With better burger options in the area, I highly doubt that I’d return to a BGR again. If you do eat here on a Monday through Friday, the box set(regular burger, fries or salad, and a soda) for $ 9.99 is the way to go.

Today missed the mark. I was disappointed with the service since I asked for my Ahi Tuna to be cooked with a pink/red(medium rare) center. Even the second time it failed to meet what I wanted. On top of that, the taking my order was juggling between I and another customer. I was asked THREE times for my order when I clearly answered each time. As far as the lobster roll was concerned, there wasn’t much to begin with since most of it was enough to be covered with a leaf of lettuce. I don’t know what happened today, but I’ve lost my trust in coming here.

So this was my first visit. The burger was perfect. Very juicy and cooked to order. Had a fabulous taste. However, the fries were not fresh and has way to much salt on them. We actually did not finish them. The staff was also very unwelcoming and unfriendly.

The workers were friendly, and the service was reasonably speedy, but in the end, I found myself, after the very first bite, wanting Five Guys or the less-costly Wendy’s or BK instead. The strong preference for Five Guys was independently reached by a friend dining with me. Why? Because, in sharp contrast to Five Guys, the ground beef in our burgers was greasy and rather tasteless, while simultaneously my $ 7 burger was tasting of excess black pepper. My friend also thought the Five Guys buns were superior. Neither of us raised the issues with the workers, so they did not have the opportunity to try again.

We have now been here quite a few times. My daughter loves this place. They also have great veggie burgers which is what I usually get. But this time I got the salmon blt. It was very big but very tasty. My daughters chicken tonight was good. But she usually gets the burger which she loves. Tonight they messed up our order a little. The gentleman I assume is the manager took care of it with care, concern, and a smile. It was great. Not so great. The prices. 30 bucks. And we didn’t even get fries.

Not a fan, but a place to get quick food if needed. The burgers aren’t anything special. I’ve tried the regular burgers and the wellington. The wellington has shrooms on it and overpowers the burger.

Probably should have trusted my gut instinct and left as soon as I entered. There was a nasty aroma of something almost rancid when I came in, but that didn’t seem to deter me from continuing to place my order today for some reason. Alright, so ordered the special«Kimchee burger» today cooked well-done because red meat scares me! But the special came with Kimchee & Sriracha. What a wonderous combination. I was pretty ecstatic about it. Also ordered a double burger with American Cheese and fries. All this with two drinks came out to $ 27… whoa. Anyways, a buzzer was given to us after placing our order. When we finally got our food, I noticed my burger was super plain looking… totally forgot the kimchee on my burger… I literally got a patty with meat. I was super confused and then someone came running out of the kitchen to fix it for me. Thank you kind sir! The burger was good, but only because the kimchee and sriracha clouded the taste of burnt meat with a charcoal flavor. Kind of disappointed. I was hoping for so much… and don’t even get me started on the gnats … YUCK! But we did get movie ticket vouchers with our order. Woo! Something good came out of this visit. Next time, I think, I’ll head over to Pot Belly’s instead… This place could stand to get more stars if it was a lot more clean and there weren’t a million gnats flying around… I would have surely left without placing an order if those little buggers weren’t so small… and I had seen them earlier.

This was my first time going here for anything! I’ve walked past it plenty of times and have never gone inside, however, the cafeteria at work was closed for the holidays, so I decided to venture in! Upon entry everything looks good! Very nice space, very clean and inviting! There was a bit of a line, so ordering took a minute! Either way, I ordered the twin pack of sliders just as they come, with fries and a drink for about $ 4-$ 5! The order took way longer than I expected to be ready, but when I got back to my desk, I was ready to thrown down! The fries were still piping hot and the sliders were wrapped in aluminum foil wrapping which help to maintain the heat! The burgers were decent and simple! They had a distinct char to them, but not a burned flavor! All in all, it was decent! They did forget my mojo sauce, which I kind of annoyed me! I really wanted to see what hat was about! Perhaps next time, because there will be a next time! I will just order online! But overall, decent food and a decent experience!

I was in the area for something and wanted to eat — I was willing to try something different in this area. My phone did not come up fast enough for me to check out the pictures or reviews for this place. The menu on the wall showed burgers, chicken and hot dogs to name a few. You could get them with fixings(for free) or some toppings at a price. The place has indoor and outdoor seating. When you place an order, they give you one of those things you get at a regular restaurant when you are waiting for a table and so when it buzzes, it means your food is ready at this place. Note: the metal looking basket that is near where you pick up your food, is for you to place that item that buzzes(I wish an employee would have told me that when I got my food). Anyways, I placed an order for The Burger $ 6.99(well done, but not burnt was my request) with some toppings, sweet potato fries($ 3.89), and a small drink($ 2.29). My total came to about $ 16 and I thought to myself — What in the world did I order as that is expensive. As I sat down to eat my meal, I first discovered that my burger is burnt — I decided to eat it anyways. It did not taste burnt and it was just okay(no ‘wow’ factor). As I proceeded to eat my sweet potato fries, I discovered they were cold(only a minute had really passed between the time my food got served to the time I ate it). I mentioned this to an employee who decided to make a new batch for me. The new batch of the fries was hot, but I wished it tasted like the first batch made. All in all, I am not sure I will be back to this place. I thought it would have some potential, but it ended up being just plain for me.

Split a hot dog and a pumpkin shake with BP today. The hotdog was charred, but still juicy. BP liked it more than I did. The pumpkin shake was awesome. At $ 4.99, it’s worth a try!

The burgers themselves deserve more than 3 stars, but the prices are way too high. A burger and a side of fries comes out to $ 13-$ 15. If you’re savvy enough to bring coupons, your total will still be about $ 10 – 12. Besides the prices, the only factors that really distinguish BGR from cheaper burger establishments(read: Five Guys) are the décor and the burger varieties. On the other hand, it’s conveniently located right across from the movie theater, so I often end up here before or after movies. I’m a fan of the ahi tuna burger(get it rare!) and the Wellington. I also appreciate that there’s a well-stocked condiment section, with selections such as lemons, mayo, and seasoning — the small things matter too. One rant: this location advertises a «dinner and a movie ticket» deal, but all they’re selling you is an AMC movie pass for $ 10(you can pick these up at CostCo or similar stores for around $ 8). You still have to go to the box office in the movie theater to redeem your pass and buy your ticket, so you save absolutely zero time. Also, if you’re watching a daytime movie, your movie ticket probably costs around $ 10 at the door anyway.
