Closed. I went by Friday night(April 4) and there was a sign on the door saying they couldn’t come to an agreement with the landlord and were closing this location.

Always a fun time. Hubby loves the coffin sauce(waaaayy too much heat for me). I like the buffalo shrimp or wings with hot and old bay sauces mixed.

This place is dark, dingy, and quite frankly very dirty. Looked like an old strip club no windows whats up with that definitely not worth going. Oh god the restroom smelled like it had a mold infestation super nasty. The one thing they’re know for wings were not good and seemed to be under cooked very slimy not juicy. They skimped on the sauce big time and it was very watered down. I considered ordering a beer until I looked at the taps, straight up nasty. I ordered a soda but decided not to finish it because it tasted off. Then had the pleasure of over hearing a convo between bar staff how the soda machine hadn’t been cleaned in some time. I will not be going back.

My favorite place nearby to watch a game with friends! No, this cannot compare to Buffalo Wild Wings or any of the large mainstream bars, but for a quick, friendly, and cheaper get together, this place is preferred. I should add that I’m not always a fan of the hectic activity that goes on in the big name bars, so this is a good change of pace. Also, they have pool tables and darts! A huge plus for halftime. The crowd is definitely older, like mid 30’s and up, and that is a downside of being a relatively-newly-turned-legal kid. Business is never exactly booming, and I do hope this changes as I would hate to see this place go. Perhaps they do the majority of their business via takeout? The food is extraordinary by bar food standards, and the wings beat BWW’s any day of the week. I like how they incorporate Old Bay in alot of their dishes as it is a true Maryland staple. The cheesesteaks are excellent as is their cream of crab soup. The wings are HUGE and juicy and come with a combination of two flavors to choose from from their huge selection of choices. Ask what the waiters like best as they haven’t let me down yet. I’m still yet to try their pizzas, but they do look amazing. All in all, I love this place, but it sure can get quiet.

The energy level was a «1» before we arrived, with a homeless man at the bar and three other patrons. The ceiling lighting is straight out of my parents dining room with four lamps attached to a ceiling fan. Not very flattering, but the décor was worth seeing with so many signs on the wall. The service was instant with two bartenders/serves who are very friendly. The beer was cold and the Touchtunes juke box made for interaction with the staff with the iPhone app we used to pick our playlist. Cue songs from the 90’s. Bathrooms were not very clean here either, so the ladies still had to hold out, but the value was still excellent at $ 4.00 a beer, both bottle and draught. There’s a second room with pool tables that were in use. BWB might have historic significance because it still has a payphone next to the front door that provided a great photo opportunity.

Good divey place and the large formica counter top at the bar is greattttt!!! Behind it Maria and the spunky Blonde whose name eludes me. Good place bar seats about 10 and has tables that seat another 20 – 30. Sunday nite crowd was small but filled the place up watching NCAAs. Friend has steak salad which looked decent and it was a good size! I’ll be back!!!

Excellent wings, just wish they would have had an all you can eat. If they had better wing specials it would easily be a 5.

Don’t give this place a nickel. They WILLNOTGIVEYOU A GLASSOFWATER. You have to PAY for bottled water. Go to Gentleman Jim’s or Dunmor’s instead — the same atmosphere, same food, and you won’t be nickel and dimed. VERY disappointed.

So I just give got some carry out from here and the place and food really sucked. I phoned in and the lady was really nice and helpful. I asked her about the«Hen» sauce and she said it was pretty hot. So I got half Hen and half Sweet & Tangy. I only live less then five minutes down the street so they didn’t get soggy. As soon as I bit into the Hen wings… I was like WTF?! These aren’t spicy at all! It was just tangy. The Sweet and Tangy wings were alright, I had my sister try both wings and we both agreed they weren’t bad but they also weren’t good… the wings were very bland. I do intend to go back and give them a second shot because I would like to try their hotter sauces. I doubt I would ever go in there to actually eat. It’s very dark and dingy inside. When I went in there was a mom and couple of kids sitting at a table and a couple of people at the bar drinking some beers at 1 in the afternoon. So the only time I’d eat again is through carry-out.

If your looking for a place to have a good time and eat some good food and wings BWB is the place to go. The wings&food are amamzing as well as the great cooks that prepare the food. Beer, sports, and wings all amazing! Waitresses are the best!

Bottom line: good wings, overpriced, dive bar setting with tons of TVs, but they rip you off on the drinks. $ 1 for water!!! No refills on soda??? C’mon, Ira, Is this the 1980’s? Loosen up a little! I’ve eaten buffalo wings around the country and around the world(note: good buffalo wings are really hard to find outside of the US!!). I’ve ventured to mecca(aka Anchor Bar in Buffalo, NY — meh, after all that hype!), and been to pretty much every buffalo wing place in the DC region. 5 stars for the wings! Buffalo Wings and Beer(BWB) has one of the best traditional buffalo wings in the area, hands down. I like the«Cock of the Walk» which is labeled xHot — and a non-breaded fried wing that is tossed in sauce. The wings are meaty and big, and have the right proportion of meat to sauce; Wingstop wings for example can be too small, sometimes overpowering your mouth, as there’s not enough meat to counter balance the sauce. Great selection of beers! Any establishment with Sierra Nevada on tap gets my thumbs up. Now the downside is price: 2lbs for $ 13, or $ 15 if you want«specialty sauce.» I counted about 15 wings in our 2lb order, so that comes out to roughly $ 1 /wing. As mentioned above, the wings are meaty and you get more meat for your buck vs. Wingstop, Buffalo Wild Wings, etc. But this is definitely on the high side. To add insult to injury, they slam you on drinks. Of course if your beverage of choice is beer, you pay as you go(i.e., no refills). But sometimes you want a water or coke on the side to wash down the chicken, and you have to pay as you go for what should be free refills. A coke for $ 2, and then refills for $ 2? The cost on that coke to start is $ 0.05. What does it cost to bring your patron a glass of water? Nothing. But they only sell bottled water for $ 1. Understandable at a french restaurant where they ask if you want«sparkling, or still.» But c’mon, this is a dive bar in a strip mall! Again, the wings are very, very good. Highly recommended, but for take-out only. Ira, please reconsider your soft drinks and water policy!

It’s football season! Football is about chili, buffalo wings, and beer. If you want award national award winning wings, really good fries, chili, beer, and enough sports, including baseball, basketball, UFC mixed martial arts and, of course, football, all live and recorded, on enough screens to keep your head spinning, not mention great waitresses, then you gotta check out eponymously named Buffalo Wings and Beer. As friend Roy wrote, «There is an abundant variety of sauces, heat levels, and combinations for every taste and the rest of the menu is not too shabby either.» My fave is the wasabi terriyaki wings; they’re Spicy enough, and not too sweet, they’re unbelievable! But my second favorite, the the Cajun wings with«Cock of the Walk» spicy sauce on the side are also amazing! You can choose from a half dozen other suggested combination, or make up your own combination from the eighteen basic sauces that are listed on the huge menu.

My friend found a coupon for buy a pound of wings get a second pound of wings half price. According to whoever answered the phone, the stipulation was that the second pound had to be the same flavor as the first. Not a big deal. The last time we tried the rooster(hot) sauce and it wasn’t spicy enough. This time we went with cock of the walk(hotter). Apparently«hotter» means less hot on this scale. Fail. We salvaged the sauce by pouring it into a bowl and adding a hot pepper we found somewhere in the back of my friend’s fridge. Bless you random fridge pepper and the capsaicin that flowed within you. We also got the garlic fries which were fries sprayed down with garlic salt. They were ok but definitely not worth the extra 50 cents over the regular fries. Overall, not as good as the first time. We’ll see what happens the next time.

Wings here are fantastic. They are however, quite expensive. For the«awesome» sauced wings, it’s about 7 – 8 bucks for a lb. The wings have a wonderful crisp crunch to them when you bite down, while at the same time being drenched in wonderful sauces.(Unlike many other places wings which always seem to be soggy) Something to note: You can get the wing sauces on many of the chicken entrees, such as the chicken fingers, the sub’s, the wraps, etc. If you don’t like wings, but love their sauces(or have an issue with eating off the bone), you can still enjoy the meals here! Oh and the spiciest sauce there isn’t «insane cock sauce,» it’s the coffin. Beware! Also keep in mind there is a huge difference in overall hotness between the xxx hot sauce, and the xx hot sauce. The xxx hits you like a freight train. The xx allows you to eat all the wings. I haven’t tried the coffin yet, but supposedly it’s mouth numbing.
