Seemed like a fine place — staff was quick to serve and gave large portions. This is mostly a quick review just to let people know that they have very nice non-​dairy sorbet, 2 flavors today and hopefully normally, so that this is somewhere you can go even if you’re with someone who doesn’t eat dairy.

Maggie Moo’s ice cream is darn tasty but I am not a huge fan of this location. It often seems messy and chaotic. But shouldn’t I expect that in the summertime at an ice cream place? The kids drive me crazier in here than in any other ice cream shop I can think of.
The combinations are pretty comparable to Coldstone’s. Also, the portions are tremendous. The kid’s size is often PLENTY for me, especially after just downing dinner. Another plus: Maggie Moo’s is open pretty late in the summer while the rest of Rio is basically closed. They also no longer have the competition of Swensen’s nearby, so they are the only place to get ice cream in the immediate area. (There is a Potbelly but they close earlier.)
