Papa John´s Pizza is a corporate chain. You are going to get what you expect. They follow corporate procedure and regulations to guarantee you the same quality pizza that you ordered last time and the time before that.
Papa John´s is a corporate place that is going to crush all its competitors. Hell, they even crushed other pizzeria chain Jerry´s Sub and Pizza in the Flower Hill Shopping Center and the Pizza Hut across the street is on life support. Their entire business is based upon maximizing profit for King Papa John Schnatter, a $ 240 millionaire lifelong Republican who is against Obamacare (from a quick google search)… but who cares?!
Papa John´s makes darn good pizza. Let me tell you what you need to know.

If you are going to reheat pizza the next day, do it right and use a toaster oven or the oven 350 degrees for 8 minutes.

Thought the first time I ordered was a fluke or a busy night. Delivery is super slow. Pizza was cold and they forgot some of the toppings.

Prefer their pizza over most of the other nearby delivery places. I generally order online and have the pizza delivered. If you order online with the expectation of waiting 45 minutes, you will generally not be disappointed with your order.
If you order a carryout pizza, don’t expect customer service or even a hello, because this has not happened in three trips now. I can’t even get a «thank you» when they hand me my pizza, it’s kinda of like, you are not suppose to be here attitude. Again, I have come to expect this and will continue to order from them, as I like the value and taste of their pizza’s.

First time in over 3 years I ordered pizza, so I’m not sure if this is the normal.
Ordered on the terms of the «Wizards win» get «1 large 10-​free toppings pizza for $ 9.99» So I decided to give it a try. My first thought was they gave me the wrong pizza, as it looked like a normal 2 topping pizza with cheese, nope they just sprinkle the smallest of tiniest amounts of toppings haha. I really didn’t expect much, and that’s exactly what I got. Surely toppings for pizza can’t cost that great of an amount to where they can surprise people with a fully covered pizza right?
Could just be the rachet location…

Phone can’t be reached, called many times, slow delivery!!! Love papa johns, but this franchise is messed up!

Very happy with this location. They are quick, consistent, and friendly. Definitely appreciate gaving this as my neighborhood chain pizza joint. The John’s Favorite pie is also the Kevin’s Favorite pie!

Ordered a carry out pizza from this location everything came out ok. Standard Papa John’s Pizza. Nothing out of the ordinary exactly what you expect.

I always order pizza from here and Everytime I do I get good fresh pizza! I feel bad for the customers who doesn’t … There pizza is delicious ! And not bland. I will keep ordering from here better than the other Gaithersburg location in my opinion

Horribly slow staff. 3 bad times. From 2 minutes away I ordered online 30 minutes before on a Thursday. 1 pizza. Get there and they haven’t even started it. Made me wait there another 30 minutes until they actually started it. Second time. Ordered 45 minutes ahead. Get there same thing. Told them forget it. They asked me to wait and they would start it. And have me a 2 free pizza coupon. So over an hour later pizza. 3^rd time. Same thing. 45 minutes ahead. Get there and guess what? Not started. Told them screw and walked out. Never again there. Horrible staff. Horrible management.

You’d be better off eating the cedar shavings from your hamster’s Habitrail. Fresher, tastier, and won’t make you as sick.

So they did contact me and said they would send me codes for 2 free pizzas with one topping. Sorry for them since i told them i would not be going to their rip off joint even if it is free. Has to be REALLY BAD to turn donw free so it shows you what this place is really like.

Ordered a medium with pepperoni and extra cheese…
The delivery guy took my cash and literally ran away from the door. Opened my box and my pizza was smashed and mushed up against the side of the box! And the side that was mashed was cooked, the side that wasn’t smashed wasn’t even cooked! The cheese was white, crumbly and there were about 3 pieces of pepperoni on my pizza.
There was a chunk missing from my pizza! Like someone tore off a piece or bit it! What the hell???

It is Papa John’s Pizza, so you pretty much know what to expect with the pizza. I ordered online for a carry out order. It was ready on time and everything was good. The only reason I give them ⁴⁄₅ stars is that the staff looked a little overwhelmed and cranky. But you don’t go to Papa John’s for the customer service, you go for the pizza, and the pizza was very good.

I like their online ordering. It’s a bit confusing but once you get it down, it’s easy and quick. I do the Papa’s Points things and every once in a while get a free pizza too. Sometimes we get delivery and sometimes carry out. So far so good. Always get what we expect and in a reasonable time.
If you do use the online ordering — We changed the delivery address once to our kids’ school and then next time forgot to change it back and there was a little mix up… don’t do that.
Oh, almost forgot. The pizza is good.

Papa Johns came to the rescue on a cold winter night with many inches of snow on the ground. Ain’t no way we were driving nowhere. We ordered online plenty early to give them enough time for delivery. The online ordering system is easy. Just enter your information, click on the type, size, and toppings for your pizza. You can even add the tip to the order online! This is extra helpful if you don’t have cash on hand. The email said they would be out in 70 to 90 minutes but the delivery girl arrived in less than 60. Great, right?
Only if the order had been correct. She brought us a large pizza with green peppers and chicken, jalapeño peppers on one half and mushrooms on the other. Perhaps appetizing to some, this order was majorly messed up. We had ordered a large pizza with pepperoni on one half and mushrooms and sausage on the other. It wasn’t her fault though. This got screwed up in the kitchen. The box was even labeled correctly. After a phone call, we were promised another correct order.
At the end of the night we were in possession of two large pizzas. Hard to really complain about that. But I think we’ll continue to reserve delivery only for emergencies.
