TJ Maxx

I received such terrible customer service here recently that I spoke with the manager in person (who said «Sorry about that»), and I contacted the company and completed a detailed review online with regard to my experience. No response! By terrible customer service, I mean I was berated and talked down to by a fitting room employee, for absolutely no reason, other than she is a mean spirited person, as evidenced by the look she gave me during a successive visit!

Identical shoes all on a rack labeled 19.99. I pick up the pair that is my size– size seven. I go to the register and they tell me the shoes are 40. I asked a manager, Ed K come to the back with me to look at the table. Sure enough, they’re all identical… Until you get really close and look at the writing at the different shoes– they were different brands. I just picked my size and not a brand! He REFUSED to honor the advertised price. Take a look at the table– all the shoes are IDENTICAL. Such poor service for such a large company. I will definitely think twice before shopping at a TJ Maxx again. Customer service is clearly NOT their priority!

A brand spanking new TJ Maxx has hit scene and I’m pretty impressed! I didn’t even know a TJ Maxx was opening in the Waugh Chapel shopping center, but as I was stopping by Pat’s Hallmark and I saw that the store had just recently opened, I knew I needed to stop in and take a look.
These types of stores can be hit or miss but since it was new, I figured the selection would be good. The selection was actually really great. The store was wonderfully organized, fully stocked, bright, and clean. They had tons of merchandise and if I were a little more patient, I would’ve looked around more. After I found 6 items that I wasn’t even looking for, nor really needed, I decided to make my way to the check out stand.
The staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful. My cashier even engaged in a conversation with me. I’m rather very impressed with my purchases. I’ve stopped at other TJ Maxx stores in the area and I haven’t found anything really note worthy to purchase, but this one had an amazing selection of merchandise. Since it’s in the same shopping center as my other favorite store, Home Goods, I’m sure to return. Winning!!!

New, clean and bright. Same as all TJ Maxx in MD.
