FOODWASHORRIBLE, but service was good. Our waiter checked in & asked us frequently if we needed anything. I guess there’s nobody else to cater to as there were only 2 small tables of patrons &3 people at the bar for this huge restaurant on a Saturday night at 7:30pm…place was pretty empty & dead. We ordered fried calamari & it was rough & very chewy. Either the calamari was old or over cooked or maybe both. The crab cakes were equally bad. Not made fresh nor real crab. It was like a patty with crab flavoring from a frozen food box you get at the market. The only 2 decent edible dishes were the chicken wings & pulled pork sliders. We also ordered a bottle of Stella beer & a bottle of Blue moon. The final bill came out to be almost $ 46…a complete waste of money. Could’ve had better & tastier food at In & out burger/Mcdonalds or Taco Bell for less money. Will never come back for such poor quality food. Doesn’t look like this place will stay in business long being dead on a Saturday night!

I hear they changed the menu recently and is changing it again. Come during happy hour because large sake bottles are $ 5.99. Their shot of vodka, rum, etc. are $ 5. So, I came here for Taco Tuesday, and woah, pretty darn good! Our server recommended us the beef taco which I absolutely enjoyed. Their baja shrimp taco is worth to try as well. Then my friends and I were even more hungry so we ordered some fries and filet mignon with salad! I just wished the filet mignon was less cooked, it was a bit too rough but I enjoyed the food and the service!

I really wanted to like this place especially because its the only place I know that sells Blood Clams! BUT I experienced the WORST and SLOWEST service here. My friend and I were here for almost 3 hours and we spent more time waving down our waitress and waiting for our food than actually eating our food. Our waitress kept socializing with regulars and co-workers rather than doing her job and I had to ask her several times for a refill and to-go box because she kept forgetting. I thought it was very interesting how they sell burgers, tacos, sushi, and seafood here but everything including the appetizers is pricey. I ordered the Seafood Linguine and it was too buttery and bland.

Monday — Sunday is completely dead since they changed chefs. I mean, people don’t even come here for the alcohol anymore! I give this place another 2 – 3 months and it’ll be gone. Lol. It’s Saturday 11 pm and it is EMPTY! only two tables and some at the bar… pathetic.

I don’t remember ever going East on Garden Grove Blvd past Brookhurst St, until this past weekend. I guess there’s really nothing Korean past that intersection so I’ve been pretty much ignorant to explore. When my friend told me that we were going to 7 Seas Sports Bar and Grill, I though he said 7 Leaves Café, which I’ve been frequenting quite often and was craving. I guess the mind hears what it wants to hear. Not sure why the sign says 7 Seas Fish House out front, but the first impression I got was that it reminded me a of an Asian BJ’s. Right down to the furniture and interior design, it’s awfully similar. The place is cozy and spacious, but it’s definitely a sports bar, with televisions all around and a large bar in the middle. I could get used to a place like this, cause there aren’t many places around the area where the establishment doesn’t get packed when watching a game. I believe the crowd is mostly Vietnamese, which is cool by me cause a lot of my close friends are the same. Since, my first visit was all about getting my drink on, I’m really curious about their menu. From the pictures on Unilocal, there are some scrumptious looking items that I would like to get my paws on. The prices seem relatively cheap. * Fried Calamari * Salad with Candied Walnuts and Blue Cheese * Crunchy Roll * Lemon Pepper Chicken * Sirloin Steak with Fries * Valrhona Gelato Chocolate & Ciao-Bella Strawberry Sorbet I believe the burgers and small plates are brought to you by Savori. There’s nothing in the venue or outside of this place that tells you that the food is from Savori, except the menu. I’m always down to find that next great burger and by the look of things, I’m gonna have to try it soon. * All American Burger * Southern Piggy

Came here to catch the UFC fight. They always have the PPV fights on and plenty of seating but can get filled up very easily. The nice thing its not super packed and plenty of flat screen HDTV’s, where you can pleasantly watch the fight without dumbasses yelling about how easy it is to be a UFC fighter and how they could beat up the other guy easily. The food menu is very simple and straight forward. The must-haves are the fries with garlic aoili! The sliders are good starters as well! They also have a full serving bar area, another option from the other seating areas. Drinks are a little pricey, so don’t hesitate to pre-game.

Okay… So the place looks a bit dingy and we had to swat away fruit flies our whole meal(don’t ask me why) but for the price… Well, even if it wasn’t the price, the food was surprisingly good! We ordered: Tom yum ravioli: must must must! In my honest opinion, this dish shouldn’t be called a ravioli bc ravioli has a tendency to have heavy dough. This dish on the other hand had a very thin skin with shrimp filling. And the tom yum sauce was light but rich in coconut, the sauce was soooo good, I could drink it!!! Crispy calamari: standard but a bit heavy on the batter Chicken wings:(Far East flavored) the wings were so super crispy and battered to perfection. The sauce was a sweet and sour sauce with a mild kick. Next to the tom yum ravioli this was my second favorite Spicy tuna rolls: standard But really… how do u beat $ 2.50 beers? And even when it’s not HH, it’s only $ 3.00 If 7 seas was closer to home, I would come back more often

Came here a few nights ago for a birthday event for a friend. Place was pretty dead with only our party and a few people at the bar. The staff were friendly and service was decent. Maybe better to come here in a weekend for a more alive experience. The food was pre-ordered from a friend who organized the event, so I wasn’t able to see the menu. The food was left out before everyone arrived, so some of the dishes were a bit cold. Some were hit or miss, but overall not horrible. I would come back to see what other dishes they have. The bartender was cool peeps(Lynette?) made some legit old fashioneds for me and my friends. She also gave us a 101 on how to make them. Kudos to her! If you ever come here to drink at the bar and Lynette is your bartender, tell her to make you a mojito! It’s her favorite drink to make! Hahaha!

Good happy hour. Ordered off the HH menu and got the tom yum ravioli(shrimp ravioli in a «thai» coconut cream sauce) and an All American Burger(bacon cheeseburger w garlic parmesan fries). Also had a Goose Island IPA(they messed up and gave me a pitcher… yay!). And, to top it off, Seatle kicked butt in the Super Bowl. Service was good. Parking was easy. And the bill was reasonable. Worth a return visit, if for nothing else but the Happy Hour.

Happy Hour! For $ 8.75, I got a huge, tasty hamburger, a good size salad(or french fries), and a beer! You can’t beat that for value! I met my buddy at 7 Seas Sports Bar and we sat at the bar and were served by the lovely bartender. She helped us and gave us great service. It looked like there were quite a few regulars at the bar and she knew their names. The menu is large and extensive and most items are fairly expensive for what they are. However, the happy hour menu is where the value is at! I really enjoyed both my hamburger which was packed with goodness. There was cheese, dressing, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and bacon. The salad was also delicious with tomatoes, avocado, onions, and quality greens with your choice of dressing. It was a lot of food for $ 8.75. Thanks 7 Seas for the delicious meal. Please see my pictures. Xie Xie!

Came here on a Saturday with a friend to grab some Burgers since Savori is now part of 7 Seas. Happy hour 3pm-7pm daily where you get free beers or special pricing on certain items. The All American was a simple, traditional, good wholesome burger. The Italian Job was better with the Parmesan basil peso cream, red onions, oven-dried tomatoes, Monterrey jack cheese, and wild arugula. I still remember The Ngon Ngon(meaning good good) was an interesting Vietnamese burger that I tried from the original location in Fountain Valley. These are all nicely done gourmet burgers that I find much better than the rest of their food. Garlic Parmesan Fries was delicious and the Cajun Fries were just eh. The interior here seems bigger and nicer than when Savori was just by itself.

We came to watch the game and order dinner… Won’t be going back. The food was okay but the service was awful. We ordered the wings, which were good — not tossed in sauce btw — but we were never asked if we wanted a second course. Our server was friendly but seemed distracted. She sat with other tables and chatted with other customers. We waited around with empty glasses for awhile, never received our second round of drinks. We got out of there and walked across the street to Louie’s to order dinner and watch the rest of the game. (Also — and this may seem insignificant to some — but I noticed the manager(I’m assuming) slip and nearly fall on a spill near the entrance to the bar. He looked around to get the attention of a server, but then he walked away from the spill without cleaning it up. To me that is bizarre. Shouldn’t he be concerned someone else might slip? Why not wipe up the hazard right away? He later took our second drink order but passed it off our server, who brought over some waters, but the drinks never arrived. He seemed lazy and ineffective. Sorry, but it’s true.)

Okay, so I came here on a Friday night and it was not busy at all. The food wasn’t that great compared to other similar places around Garden Grove & it’s more on the pricy range than other places. The service was horrible, considering how slow it was. It took me about 30 minutes(not kidding) to get our drinks. We ordered tequila shots and apparently if you are sitting at the tables, the bartenders will serve you last because they’re probably making drinks for everybody at the bar first & it’s not like the waitresses care. Then, I waved down a waitress a few times but she completely ignored me. First, I thought I was exaggerating but I came to realize that she was literally ignoring me the second time I waved her down. Maybe she wasn’t our waitress for our table, but c’mon. seriously? You totally looked at me and just ignored me. Also, it is too loud in here. The music isn’t great either, it kind of gives me a headache. Not coming back, I just think there are too much better places compared to this.

Great place for groups, parties or to watch sporting events. Food is pretty decent. My fave items are the burgers, calamari, fries and wings. My only criticisms are that all the drinks I’ve had were pretty watered down and everything is pretty pricey. My favorite server is Amber… she’s super awesome, friendly, attentive and funny. If you go there ask to get served by her!

The menu is partially a fusion of Asian and bar grub. The layout of the bar is nice with cozy booths and the scattered tvs; although the sound is always on the jukebox /whatever music they happen to have on loop. Even if it was the NHL finals; WTH?! $ 6.50 Far East Nachos: a tad heavy on the grilled onions but they have a very addictive kick to them. Little jalapenos mixed into the meat /cheese /onion mixture. The highly anticipated Tom Yum Ravioli($ 5.95) was good but neither here nor there on my «would I order that again?» It is definitely one of a kind and it wasn’t bad… but to munch on while you sip on beer? I suggest the nachos instead. Happy Hour drinks: Shock top $ 2.75 pint. $ 9 pitcher. Good deal! p. s. There is no freebie when you check in on the Unilocal app… but if you check in and show the bartender, it is on the chalkboard that you will receive a free small sake.

7 Seas is so underrated. I thought the food was good and price was great. Food probably got better since the new chef from Savori came in. Savori specializes in burger. We got one and it was very juicy and delicious!!! Mango Salad — tasted good and nice big portion! Tom Yum Ravioli — full of shrimps and interesting. Somehow this worked out nicely. Fish sauce chicken wings — $ 15 for 14 – 15 wings. good price. tasted good and nice presentation.

I’ve been to this establishment a few times and my experience on my last visit will have me never coming back. This place is a partial sushi bar/restaurant/sports bar/lounge/burger joint since Savori moved in. It pretty much incorporates just a little bit of everything. My thoughts, if the owner can’t simplify things, imagine how confused costumers may feel in this type of environment. I know I sure was. I’ve heard great things about Savori burgers so it was a must try. I opted for the All American Burger which sounded simple and was first on the menu. My burger arrived presentable. I couldn’t wait to dig right in while it’s still hot and juicy. Wrong, it was just warm(room temperature) but I didn’t mind it thinking I ordered my burger medium so maybe it’s not piping hot since it wasn’t ordered well done. After a few more bites it felt like something was missing, then it dawned on me that it had no bacon which the menu indicates it comes with crispy bacon. STRIKE1. Then I go to dig into my side of fries which you can either pick from Garlic Parmesan or Cajun. I originally ordered Cajun but received Garlic Parmesan. STRIKE2. By this time, my appetite was gone with a sour look on my face. I just wanted to hurry and finish my beer so I could be on my way. As I rush my brother to finish his burger, he points out his burger is too raw which he ordered well done. STRIKE3. Nuff said.

My boys love it here! We usually cone during happy hour to catch the deals on their appetizer specials which is daily from 3 – 7:00. They usually get the same o stuff. Buffalo wings… popcorn chicken… sliders…crunchy roll… fries and nachos. All on the happy hour menu. :) All taste decent at a good price. Great place just to hang out for greasy food with the kids.
