I just threw a surprise retirement party for my husband at Louie’s, and I couldn’t be happier. I called them at the last minute (three days before) and they were so accommodating and pleasant! Chris was fantastic with getting it organized and picking out the food. And to top it off… the food was amazing! The whole staff was very attentive! They made our party great, and I am extremely grateful!

Great location, friendly staff and good times all the time. Service is always impeccable and the food is always delicious! I have not had one bad experience here. Last time I was here, I saw and met the city mayor! That was pretty neat! :) Clean facility as well. Don’t believe I’ve been here once were it’s been empty. Just have to go at the right time, to get a table. The chile, mango beer was amazing!

Cool place to hang out after school or work. Awesome service and good food.

Louie’s never changes, always been great, still is. Friendly, neighborhood pub with great food and drink. Chicken Salad is excellent, not the usual — this one has specialty greens with freshly grilled chicken breast on top. Steak sandwich is a winner. Good selection on both food and beverage menus. They pour a good Guinness. Great place to grab a quick or relaxed lunch or dinner or late night.

The food here is amazing. Whether you’re here for breakfast, lunch or dinner you will leave full and happy. Their beer selection is out of this world and their cocktails are a fair price and delicious. I adore the guys that work here and they always make you feel welcome and want to have a conversation. The chefs are on point and never put out a bad dish. This is literally my favorite hang out and place to go for drinks, dinner, or even quick apps. Love ya, Louie’s!

Cheeseburger was awesome! I called for a TO Go order, just a short wait but it was hot. I would have given a 5* but the french fries, while perfectly cooked, were so SALTY I couldn’t eat them. Bummer. I’ll say No Salt next time and maybe then I can up the rating!

I love this place. I have been coming here for a very long time and it’s always getting better. The food is always good and always fresh. Great breakfast and the fish tacos are awesome! The beer selection is real good, lots of great craft beers to choose from. The staff is great. Adrian is my favorite. I always enjoy coming in whenever he is there. He fast, efficient, and friendly (as are all the bartenders at Louie’s). By far one of the best places to eat or drink on OC and definitely in Garden Grove.

Food is always fresh. Amazing bloody Mary’s and great beer selection. Adrian always greets folks w a big Smile. All the staff are pretty cool and the crowd is friendly. Lucky to have this place so close to home

My friends and I come here for evening drinks at least once a week because it is close to home and the alcohol selection is fantastic for very reasonable prices. No place has a better priced well drink all day every day. In the evenings you’ll most likely meet Adrian who is always a pleasure shooting the s*it with. Talking to him is a great way to take your mind off a long day or from your team losing. Don’t ask him to make you a Bloody Mary after the sun has gone down though.

Super clean bar. From the outside it looks like just another random bar. But once inside the quality of service is above average. The food all look great and this place feels like it has a lot of history going for them. I am a fan and will be coming back very soon!

Come in and sit down wherever, hopefully the bartender or a staff member will see you and come over and take your order.
Lots of beer and food choices. I ordered a Patty melt ($ 9) and comes with a side order of your choice. The gf ordered the dean’s burger ($ 13) which comes with a side as well. The dean’s basically comes with everything, bacon avocado, lettuce, tomatoes, egg, cheese etc. Their food is pretty darn good and the price justifies it. The side of potato salad and fries were good.
They also make a really good snake bite ($ 7.50). Lots of good deals on beers as well.

Came here after reading an article in OC weekly and couldn’t be happier. I live right down the street and didn’t know this little gem existed. They have a wide arrange of beers on draft and their cocktails are the best I’ve had in GG. I ordered a Manhattan on the rocks and my wife ordered a Moscow Mule and they both were excellent. I haven’t had food but the menu looks good and ill be back for dinner soon.

Pub-​Like establishment, very Low-​key bar serving burgers, sandwiches, variety of beers and speciality drinks. Definitely would go back awesome atmosphere.

We came here for Sunday breakfast. The Bloody Mary’s were great, I think it was the best one I’ve had. The food is served fast and we all enjoyed it. On Sunday morning there is a farmers market going on too. Makes for a fun outing.

Can’t judge a book by its cover.
From the outside, it looks like a dive bar which will have sticky floors and bad Conway Twitty on the juke box… but inside it looks like the «after» picture in those house renovation shows.
The interior was bright, aided by a bank of televisions playing sportsball.
The food was good, with VERY generous portions.
The beer selection was excellent.
We went for breakfast, and enjoyed it, there were kids there, of course, but I’m not sure it would be kid-​friendly after 8pm, but it was more an eatery than bar.

Really good food, usually a good crowd too.
Definitely a great option for eating in this cool area of Orange county. This isn’t the hipster hang out, guys in skinny jeans and handlebar mustaches are across the street and about 50 yards North!
I really like Louie’s and I’ll be back.
The place is super cool inside however the «New» remodel is starting to show it’s age. That is expected, it’s been a few years but wonder if they will keep up with repairs before it becomes an issue.
Let’s be real about why I don’t patronize this place more often.
This is the second trip to Louie’s in 2015 where I felt the Bar staff could be a little less «cool guy» and spend some time earning tips with patrons. Being part of the «locals» click and «Owning» the bar doesn’t foster the growth of your business… You’re there to SELL food and drinks, why do customers need to flag you down/​over to BUY things from you?
One last thing and this sucks to write because it souds cheap and petty but here goes: I guess you don’t need to earn a tip when you add 18% automatic gratuity to the check. I’m usually a 25% or better tipper if you’re trying but ok here’s your 18% (Never did this to us here before and you really didn’t earn it tonight)

I’m in search of good local restaurants in Orange County. We came here this past Saturday around 6pm. The bartender was the only server we saw. All but 2 tables were filled. Around 6:30 or 7, the entire bar and tables were filled. This is a good thing, right? But still only one server for the entire place. Not a good thing. Service was slow. Their burner wasn’t working either. So we weren’t able to try the burger, wings, or fries. The tacos were good. Really good. I’m not sure if it’s good enough to bring me back. Although location is convenient. We’ll see.

The Dean burger… oh man… that burger is one delicious beast. I ordered it on parmesan sourdough bread which made it extra tasty. Also tried the feta fries. Not bad at all.
Customer service was pretty good too. James was an excellent waiter. Very friendly and attentive.
