Wong’s Alteration’s Dry Cleaners

I needed alterations and needed it done within 3 hours, no problem. This is not a fancy elegant place, but the work she did on my blazer was perfect. For the same work I called around the prices that was quoted $ 50-​$ 200, I only paid $ 20!

I came in from out of town near closing time and Ba was able to have my alterations done by the next morning! They are very nice people and did a great job on my order. If the front door is locked during business hours just ring the bell or call them, as they are likely just upstairs or nearby running some errands. I will definitely be back if I am in the area needing alterations again.

My family has been drinking their water and getting alterations from Wong’s for years. The lady and man who are there are very helpful. Just have to concentrate when they talk, but after a few trips I’m used to it by now. Haha. If you have any issues with your bottle such as algae build up, the man (I guess it’s Mr. Wong) will help get that out. Also the water is GREAT. And if the door is locked during business hours, just ring the doorbell there to get their attention.

I’ve been going to this place for my water and to get my clothes fix for more than 7 years now. The owners here don’t no much English, but they are extremely sweet and hospitable.
The water here had been the best in most of LA. Most of my friends that come over to my place for dinner always comment on how the my water is so smooth and sweet. I guess my food isn’t as appetizing as the water. I do recommend this place for anyone who really enjoy the taste of good water.
The lady that work on the alterations is very small and fun to work with. Whatever I bring in for her to fix, gets done perfectly. She understands and does an excellent job in getting my clothes to look good on me.

This business not only does alterations, dry cleaning but it also serves drinking water. Me and my family have purchase drinking water from this place for over 4 years. We have been loyal customers. We recently noticed a different smell and taste in the water. When we went to fill up again we smelled the water there and politely told the owner that the water had a different smell. The owner completely lost it and took it as an insult. He started yelling and going crazy to the point where we thought he would hurt us. We didn’t want any trouble, all we wanted was to let him know what we had experience. I guess he didn’t like that. He continued yelling until his wife came inside and calmed him down. We were shocked. In over 4 years we hadn’t had any issues until now. As a business owner, I don’t think he should’ve reacted that way. Me and my family will never come back to this place. I don’t write this post to dis-​encourage anyone from going there. This is simply my experience.
