I used to work in Richardson and Xin Xian was just a few minutes away from the job. Several co-workers and I placed an order for delivery and let me just say I was addicted thereafter. I always get the shrimp friend lunch special(spicy) with spring rolls. Awesome! Everyone I have referred to them has said the same. Excellent service, excellent food, and affordably priced.

I ran into delivery guy in the elevator where I live. He gave me a menu. I looked this place up on Unilocal.I must say the reviews were helpful. I knew exactly what to expect. Delivery was quick. Food was hot and fresh tasting. I ordered the Lemon Chicken(fried). It was crispy and tender. Also tried the combo fried rice(shrimp/chicken). The shrimp were cooked perfectly and not those tiny ones that you usually get. The chicken was just ok. Overall I thought this was a decent place to order American Chinese. I would have them deliver again.

I don’t really know what I was expecting from this place. I ordered sushi and miso soup. The sushi looked like they went to their local grocery store and picked up sushi from there. It was disgusting. The miso soup wasn’t anything to brag about either. I don’t know what their other food is like but I don’t think I’ll be willing to try it.

Not sure how this place only has 3 stars. Ordered delivery thru Unilocal/eat24. Showed up in less than 20 minutes. Egg rolls were hot and crispy and the orange chicken was great. Actually tasted like they used real orange peel and juice. Good stuff.

Ordered delivery — with only 1 modification — and it was right. Ordered Beef Lo Mein and Egg Drop Soup. Both were good. Not my favorite type of noodles(flat), but enjoyed the veggies — snow peas, carrots & onions. All I asked for was xxxtra spicy mustard and they got that right. Not at all bad for the price — and delivery minimum is only $ 10.

Really surprisingly good Chinese food. I had hot and sour soup and it was great, sounds spicy and flavorful. Szechuan beef for lunch, which they served to me priced as a lunch special even though it wasn’t an option on the lunch menu. The dish had big chunks of very fresh vegetables, the sauce was really good, and the meat was tender and slightly sweet. Good value, entrée plus soup plus tea was just over $ 11. Service was very fast and friendly. I just came in as an experiment, but will be back to try more of their dishes! They have homemade flan, as well, which I didn’t try but is probably pretty good; the owner I spoke with said he makes it himself, and he seemed pretty proud!

This restaurant is not really a Chinese restaurant. The cook and the sushi chef is Mexican. The service is great however if you want true Asian foods, I don’t recommend you go here. All my foods taste alright however not like what I expected

I ordered food from here, which tasted pretty good, but the next three days I was violently throwing up. I finally went to the doctor and he said it was a viral infection. I’m not sure if it was because of their food or not, but the doctor said that it is usually cause when people cook raw meat with raw vegetables in the same pan at the same time. I hope it was just a fluke because the food was not bad.

I gave this place a second chance because I figured, what the hell everyone has an off day. We ordered several of the rolls, crab rangoon and double mushroom beef. The rolls were awful, specifically the Philadelphia Roll which was 90% rice, they smelled fishy the minute we took them out of the bag.(We had it delivered) The crab rangoon had been microwaved after it had been cooked in old oil and served with a gelatinous cold red sweet and(wannabe) sour sauce. The sauce seemed so old it acted like a non Newtonian fluid. Yuck. Lastly, the mushroom beef. As a huge fan of fungus, I thought how could this be screwed up? And yet, it was. The amount of corn starch that my poor little fungi friends had been cooked in left them completely unedible. I highly suggest this place if you enjoy bland(Americanized) revolting food. My dogs will(maybe) get to enjoy the leftovers — and they are plentiful– tomorrow. Otherwise, there are plenty of places in town that have the real deal. Don’t trust the grubhub reviews if you want the real thing.

Bland miso soup, pink and fatty chicken, and you’ll find better sushi at WAL-MART. This is not one of those places where you get decent food for cheap; you get cheap food for cheap.

I get delivery from here every so often. I like the sushi rolls. I wish they had real crabmeat but nevertheless the rolls are pretty good.

Would NOT recommend the sushi. It did not taste fresh. The General Tso is decent. The portion sizes are average. Not the greatest chinese food ever. But it suffices as a quick bite to eat.

This place screwed up my order, charged me for items not delivered, and was late. The delivery guy had a had written receipt so I will not be ordering from them again… shady!!!

Without a doubt the best Chinese food in this area. Everything we ordered was excellent. We were sold with the pot stickers and spring rolls and that was just the beginning. Excellent hot and sour soup, tender beef pepper steak and delicious sushi. Well worth the trip.

I am not sure why this place is rated so low and there are so many negative reviews. This is definitely one of the best Asian restaurants in the area. The food is always fresh and tastety, and staff are very friendly. I visit here almost on a weekly basis. Being Chinese, I would hope that I know a thing or two about Chinese food. Hope the business will pick up for this little hidden gem.

It’s a place that touts themselves as Asian Fusion so they have sushi and rice and noodles and curry and a little bit of everything. It seemed okay when I was browsing gift certificates. So I walk in. The place is actually pretty normal looking. Not crazy«hole-in-the-wall» Chinese restaurant with décor that could only be described as East meets Chili’s. It was just some Chinese paintings on the wall, bright red-ish orange walls, fairly clean, nothing too flashy. The host greets me and asks me where I’d like to sit. I choose a table on the far side from the only other patrons in the place. The host sees that I have a certificate with me and he says, «Oh, you know how to use that right? Me: «Yup. Just need to order $ 7.50 minimum.» Him: «Ten dollars.» Me: «…Seven fifty.» Him: «No, it’s ten dollars.» Me: «The certificate says seven fifty.» Him: «Yeah, they got it wrong. I need to call them about it.» Me: «But it says it right here.»(pointing to the cert) Him: «Ten dollars.» Me: «I’m probably going to order over $ 10 anyways, but the certificate says $ 7.50» And he takes a breath to say something and then he just walks off. The menu is pretty standard and I really wanted sushi, but then you look around and there isn’t a sushi bar or a sushi chef. That’s a little troubling. I decide against it, considering I really am not in the mood for food poisoning. I mean, really, who is ever in the mood for it? I wouldn’t even get food poisoning to get out of work. I finally settle upon the Spicy Basil Chicken Fried Rice and the Xin Xian Platter. The Xin Xian Platter is every fried item you could want from the menu. Fried egg roll, fried wonton, fried shrimp, fried crab rangoon and I think even the pot sticker was fried. The only thing that wasn’t fried was the Chicken Satay which they provide a little sterno grill that you can heat it on. It was pretty good as most fried foods are. Not greasy and not oily which shows that the oil was at the correct temperature and they got to the right temperature when they were taken out of the fryer. The Spicy Basil Chicken Fried Rice is chicken fried rice and then they add basil and they add a bunch of spicy oil. You know the stuff, it’s red oil with a bunch of red pepper pieces in it. Had I known that was how it was made, I would have asked for it without the spicy oil. I could have added it myself. I’m not particularly fond of the seeds. Other than that, the dish was good. The chicken was tender, not overcooked like many Chinese restaurants like to do. Even the leftovers I took home, after being micronuked were still tender. That’s pretty good. It wasn’t bad. The certificate«situation» left a bad taste in my mouth, but I’d probably come back because the cook does seem to know what he’s doing. XinXian in Chinese means«Fresh». I’m not sure what they’re calling fresh, but it was, at least, not stale. That’s something. One half Bruce Star: I’d come back again.
