My wife and I ate there last night and it was the worst food I have had at any Cracker Barrel. The salmon cakes were squished flat and the flavor was bad. The chicken livers were over cooked. Service was good. Broccoli had bad spots all in it. I would not recommend this Cracker Barrel to anyone I know. The only reason I am giving one star is because the waitress was good.

Went here on MLK day. It was packed. My uncle had given me a gift certificate, so my dining companion and I(both somewhat broke) decided to go ahead and use it. It was one mile less to the one in Garner than the one in Morrisville, so here we found ourselves for lunch. Our lunch was pretty satisfying. He had the haddock. I had the open-face roast beef. I think I liked his haddock more. Very well-prepared in a light cornmeal batter, lightly fried. Yum. But mine was good too. You all probably know I’m not crazy about chains. But this is one that doesn’t disappoint. And there was the gift certificate…

We come every Sunday, and every Sunday our food is delicious. Today, our food was great but our waitress was so incredibly rude that we almost walked out. I asked her if she could take a few plates off of our table and she rolled her eyes and snatched the plates out of my hand. She also snatched an item out of my 12 month olds hands. We will continue our tradition, but if she’s our waitress next time, we will leave.

Stopped in for a family breakfast. This location is always busy, but we were quickly sat. The wait staff was attentive and friendly as has been the usual for this location. Food was quick and well prepared. The only downside to today’s experience was that the air conditioning seemed to be cranked way up making the dining room fairly cold. We come to this location from time to time and nothing from today’s or past experiences would keep us from returning.

Service was a little slow, but all of our food came out correct and hot. A/C was cranked up so I froze the entire time :(. Other than being cold enjoyable meal!

Holy Smokes… A-OK is the verdict! Sunday morning late breakfast coming back from the beach. A solid three stars for the food, the wait to be seated(Rocking chairs nice on the porch) and the waitstaff. All in all no complaints but just no WOW Factor. Like every other Cracker Barrel in the world.

Decent staff, but what has happened to this Cracker Barrel? I have been coming to this location for years, and it seems like as time passes this location gets consistently worse. The food at this point is subpar — it feels like they are cutting corners(and are running out of corners at this point) on the quality and quantity of food.

GREATSTAFF, FOOD&VERYACCOMMODATING! I must say I was very impressed when we walked in minutes before closing thinking we had no chance at dinner and was met by the most welcoming, kind Manager. I asked him his name, which is Michael and he invited us in with no rushing or annoyance. The entire staff also followed suite and all I can say is thank you Michael and staff for letting us in tonight. We’re on our way to Duke medical where I will be undertaking a journey in healing. What a wonderful way to start that journey then to meet these Angels! Much love and thanks guys! Your the BEST!!!

Great for breakfast. Fast and friendly staff. This store is incredibly consistent with the quality of their food and service. We live just a few miles down the road so this is very convenient for a weekend breakfast. Choices are limited in the 40⁄42 area but this Cracker Barrel is likely to outdo any other breakfast spot for price and value.

The servers seem careless. Went in there one night with a friend and we were seated by the hostess promptly. About ten minutes later we were approached by another server who quickly said she was not our server but that she would get our drinks. She dropped off our drinks and nothing else. A half hour into our visit and just as we were getting up to leave our server finally comes out. It was disappointing. We left. What’s more disappointing is that when I called management to let them know what happened the manager was like«I didn’t even see you» as he doubted we were even there. We haven’t been back, but I gave two stars because it’s a good location off highway 40 and the food is always good.

Went here on a Sunday because the have the best fries chicken, well used too. What came out of the kitchen was this burnt charred piece of tasteless rubber. And like most Cracker Barrels service was flat and mediocre. The server Jase has no personality.

Great chain place to stop in for brunch. The wait is never too long and their quick to serve and keep your glass full. The vegetable plate is a hidden gem on the menu for a light lunch. I did notice they run shorter on biscuits and cornbread at the table lately, but if you ask, they’ll be more than happy to bring some by.

Great service. Some of the stuff is pricey, but then others are just insane low priced. When I work nights I go with my wife all the time and get«breakfast» I order a Sirlion steak, eggs, hashbrown casserole, and get biscuits and gravy. I’m totally full, and my plate is under 9 $, and the steak is good quality, good taste, not what you’d expect for so cheap. Can’t beat that!

Great food, service, & family friendly atmosphere. We eat as a family here several times a year. The service is what keeps us returning. Last night the turkey & dressing special was excellent and our meal came out quickly too. The past month we had Kristy & Paul as our servers on separate occasions and they both were always on the ball and accurate! Fast and friendly service. Plus you always see the managers working too which is refreshing. Last night a female manager was busting tables, cleaning and constantly working. As a former manager and server in the field that is great to see! I reccomend the turkey, fried catfish sandwich, chicken fried chicken, veggie soup or a veggie plate.

I love Cracker Barrel. This is the only one near my house. The staff are also very nice. That said, EVERY time I order takeout which is 2 – 3 times a year, my order is messed up. I never order anything special. I order basic menu items. I recently ordered a sandwich and the bread was not toasted and there was no cheese. This is standard with the sandwich. It’s usually always something like that. Except one time I ordered the Chicken BLT sandwich and when I got home they forgot the CHICKEN. Seriously?

I do love Cracker Barrel. Consistent experience, whether it’s breakfast or lunch or dinner. Poached eggs are cooked perfectly, my wife loves the French Toast and it’s not easy to beat their biscuits and gravy. Do they really sell enough crap in their«store» that it’s worth taking up that much floor space?

You simply can’t go wrong with Cracker Barrel. Down home cooking at easy on the wallet prices. Breakfast is my favorite to eat here and i’m never disappointed. I had the buttermilk pancakes and there just isn’t anyone better at making pancakes than Cracker Barrel… Love them

This is our go to place for an overindulgent, southern meal. It’s perfect after a night of imbibing on alcohol, since your entire plate will be a mess of carbs and comfort foods. I think there are better places for breakfast, but their lunch/dinner menu is great. I always get the Chicken Fried Chicken(say yes to the sawmill gravy), macaroni and cheese(delicious), mashed potatoes and green beans(my effort at being a little healthy). Add a sweet tea and this Northern girl is in Southern bliss. On the weekends, expect a wait. even though their dining room is huge, this is a popular place. The wait will fly by though, whether you choose to browse the Cracker Barrel store, which has everything from retro candy to kids toys to holiday decorations or sit outside in their rocking chairs and enjoy the breeze.

Very good food, the service could have been a little better, they were spread thin. These Cracker Barrels always appear to be very busy. They can appear to be a little too busy and unattractive to potential customers. Who doesn’t love their shopping area in the lobby??? They have some really neat stuff. They could use booths, very loud with only tables stacked within a few feet of each other.

We went here for a big Sunday breakfast last weekend. The wait was about 15 – 20 minutes, but it goes really fast while perusing the«Old Country Store» with the rest of the folks, some dressed to the T after church. They really know how to cycle people through there, its quite the operation, and the waitresses are as sweet as can be and we never felt rushed. The food was good, plentiful and well priced, and service was great. Its a nice treat for a couple or an entire family. When we left I overheard that the wait was 20 – 30 minutes, but you never would know that from sitting in the dining room, it was relaxing and chill in there.
