Very crowded place that serves outstanding food. I have ate here tens of times over the years and the place has changed very little. The prices are a little bit pricy, but the food&atmosphere will relax you.

Our server was wonderfully nice. The food was good… not great, but they hustle and get folks in and out in a warm, friendly place. Would definitely go back.

Super friendly people. The food was pretty good too. The waitress forgot to bring me my hot chocolate, but was very apologetic and made sure I also had a cup to go.

Folks if your looking for place when your visiting, come to log cabin in downtown Gatlinburg. Amazing home style food, awesome prices, the servers are always friendly, fast with refills… come early cause it’s the best time, come a little late and you’ll have to wait but it’s worth it

We love this place. Every time the family and I come to Gatlinburg we have to make a stop here. Great food and atmosphere. I recommend it to everyone.

Definitely not that great. Down home atmosphere I guess. Coffee awful. Food mediocre. Definitely not worth 4 stars!!!

Other than the service, everything else about this place was mediocre at best. Maybe I’m a food snob, but this is your run of the mill tourist trap with canned fruit toppings and watered down syrup. The lines here are long though, so I guess it holds its appeal for some people.

Delicious way to start your day! We stop here every year before hiking. Pancakes served with warm syrup. Service is always very fast and friendly.

The line may look daunting but we got in the line the crossed the porch and almost went up the steps– party of 5– and waited a little than 20 min. It was well worth it. The menu has a large selection and reasonably priced. Very friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommend

Best there is. Hands down. Been going there for 30 years and it’s still awesome. The wait is worth it. Even if the line is all the way down to the end of the porcch, you’re still only about 20 mins away from the best breakfast and the best service in Gatlinburg.

Nice job. Warm atmosphere took me back to my childhood. Haven’t been here since the eighties and it’s still great. Exactly the same.

While there are several members of this small local chain, I would definitely recommend this one above the others. The atmosphere is both rustic and pleasant, the staff is friendly, and the parking is ample. This morning we had a late breakfast, so I was in the mood for lunch already. I opted for the patty melt and substituted fries for hashbrowns. For being a breakfast place(I mean, it’s called the pancake house), this place makes a mean patty melt. The bread was buttered and griddled to perfection, burger was thin and meaty, and loaded with nelly cheese. Hashbrowns were pretty standard, but they hit the spot just perfectly. May have to come back if we don’t try Davy Crockett first.

Service was great. Coffee was weak weak weak. Crêpe filling was gelatinous and artificially flavored. Did not enjoy the meal at all.

Ate here as we passed by Gatlinburg. The waitress was very nice and quick with our order and food. I enjoyed silver dollar sized chocolate chip pancakes. The hashbrowns could have used more of a sauce or choice of toppings. The best part to me was the visit to the women’s bathroom where you find sea salt to sample and use on you hands. My hands have never felt so smooth. The décor inside is cute room.

They have a pretty good breakfast but the best thing about this place was definitely the service! Our waitress was so sweet and very attentive. The food was good… the bacon was crispy, the eggs cooked perfectly, but the grits were a little lumpy and tasted instant. I had a small bite of their biscuits & gravy(it’s the sausage kind), they were okay. On the super plus side, they serve breakfast even at lunch time. Any place that lets me eat a late breakfast gets an extra star from me. Oh, and the coffee was good. I’d eat there again.

OMG! What an amazing place! Gatlinburg is apparently known for it’s pancakes and we were advised to check this restaurant out. I am so glad we did because the food was GREAT! The location is good because it is not on the downtown strip but a couple of blocks to the side so you don’t have to avoid running over all the tourists just to get to the parking lot. Speaking of which, major points for having its own free parking space! That is a rare commodity in downtown Gatlingburg! The restaurant itself was of course a log cabin and it felt really homey! The food. WOW! They have so many pancake options that it makes it so hard to choose! I went with the Caribbean Pancakes which had coconut flakes, nuts and bananas. It was DELICIOUS! The plates are huge, about 4 – 5 pancakes per serving. The prices are not too high, I would say in the middle. I will obviously return to this place and most definitely recommend to everyone who loves pancakes!

Well, this place has gone down hill. Last time my wife and I went, it was a glorious experience. This time? Terrible. We were one of 3 tables in the entire joint, and the waitress acted like she was put out to have to walk over and bother with us. When the food was delivered, the wife’s was just ok, but mine? I had the breakfast. Simple right? The biscuits were hard, the gravy watery and bland, the eggs had an incredibly weird taste, and the hashbrowns… UGH the hashbrowns. It’s just potatoes, right? These things had to have come from a rotting spud. I wanted to gag immediately. After all that, the tab was $ 36! For 2 simple plates! Not again.

For some reason the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area seems to be the pancake house capital of the world. That and mini golf. We wanted to do a little hiking before we headed home, but first we needed a little food to start the day. Log Cabin Pancake House had the best reviews, which made it an easy pick. Unlike a lot of the restaurants in Gatlinburg, they have their own parking lot. It’s also right on the route we chose to get into the national park. The wood-covered walls were the perfect atmosphere. It really had the rustic charm that we expected from East Tennessee. Both the hostess and our waitress were very sweet and friendly. It wasn’t too busy this morning, so we were able to get in and out with ease. I ordered the Country Ham breakfast plate, which comes with center-cut ham, two eggs(I got over easy), and three pancakes. Our order came out in no time at all. The lean ham was nice and salty, and the eggs were runny and cooked just right. The fluffy pancakes were a real treat. Next time I’ll just get a whole plate of them. This was a great breakfast all the way around.

The Log Cabin Pancake House is a must visit each time we are in Gatlinburg. The food is always excellent and the service friendly and efficient. Parking is free and plentiful. Our favorite breakfasts include pecan, chocolate and plain pancakes as well as crispy bacon, biscuits and gravy. We have never been disappointed with breakfast.
