A very interesting place. I had driven by it many times, but never had the urge to venture in… That is, until today, when Amber S and I developed the need to acquire ugly Christmas sweaters. Goodwill let us down. Family Dollar only made us holler. «Beall’s!!!», Amberghini stated as drove by the place. «It’s a department store for old people!» Perfect! Alas, no ugly Christmas sweaters, BUT they did have plenty of other ugly merchandise to choose from. I had the weirdest sensation as I wandered their aisles. The place reminded me of a major mall-type department store – i.e. a Belk or a Sears, or even a junior varsity Macy’s – only scaled down and miniaturized. I can’t put my finger on it, but it had a certain«not really real» quality to the place. I think I’ll be back though. They had pretty good prices on a pair of Nikes I liked, and Kourig machines. And there were a good amount of old people there, most likely migrated over from Sun City. So next time, I’ll don my light blue socks and sandals, and pick up some ugly golf shirts.
