Love the new manager, he’s always so super friendly and kind when I come in. Along with the new management the food quality has most certainly gone up at this location, which makes me very happy! Always wish their sauces labeled«hot» or «caliente ;)» had more of a kick as they used to in the old days but you can’t have everything can you! I brought a friend here once who ordered nachos and asked for just cheese on them and nothing else that they come with and she told me it was a waste of money, needless to say if you eat cheese chips for $ 8 yes it’s a waste of money but if you eat the dish as it’s made, it’s a delicacy! Happy eating!

If I had known what I was missing out all this time by not going to Baja Fresh… Seriously, I was surprised by the food here. I have never been to one before and honestly only came in after receiving a coupon in the mail. However, I may have been converted. I’m thinking about it now, as I’m writing this and wondering if I should stop writing and go get some food. What Baja Fresh seems to do is try and combine the Southern Cali/Mexican traditional with the American style Mexican. I like the choices. I ordered the chicken taquitos and a baja style chicken taco. The chicken taco was simply grilled chicken on a soft corn tortilla covered with salsa, onions and cilantro. Simple and delicious. They also offer it American style with lettuce, tomato and cheese, but stick with the baja style, for real. The taquitos call to me in my sleep. They are crispy corn tortillas stuffed with grilled chicken, onions and cheese, served with rice, beans, sour cream and guacamole. The order also comes with a side of tortilla chips to go with the fresh salsa bar located in the back. Also, if you order their large drink, it comes in a reusable plastic cup that you can bring back in on future visits and get refills for $ 0.99. The food was so good that I came back a few days later and ordered a burrito mexicano, which comes with your choice of protein(i got chicken), rice, beans, salsa, onions and cilantro wrapped in a flour tortilla. It was a big burrito and definitely filled me up. While my experience was pretty good, I can’t say the same for my wife, who ordered a chicken ultimo burrito but received a steak burrito instead. And to top it off, the steak was not tender, but more tough and chewy. Overall, I enjoyed the food from Baja Fresh and would definitely go back. I’ll see you there.

I ordered 2 burritos, got home and found a huge piece of hair sitting on top of them. Gross!!! I must give them 2 stars, however, because they were very apologetic about the ordeal and gave me a full refund the next day. Still never going back here.

I still like Qdoba better. but they’re a good compromise since Qdoba isn’t in Germantown.

I did not enjoy the meal I had delivered from this restaurant. The pieces of chicken are too big and well… gooey. Sorry not sure how else to describe it. The chicken is also tasteless. The beans were dry and overall the only thing I somewhat enjoyed were the cinnamon churros. The guacamole was good but who would screw that up ya know. Won’t be eating from here again though.

I stop in about once a week after work to grab a bite. I agree with one reviewer … why stand in a long assembly line at Chipotle when the food here is just as good if not better. Plus, very courteous and friendly service … and free chips /salsa bar. This past Saturday, I ordered the Chicken Taquitos party pack. Came with a really good salad and all the necessary trimmings. Was a hit at the party. The manager was very friendly and accommodating. Yesterday, they had issues with their POS machines. They weren’t reading debit/credit cards. After a several unsuccessful attempts before getting the food, and after eating, the manager simply said to pay next time I come in. Very cool.

Just finishing dining with my kids here. The food is always good but the service we received(I believe from the manager, wearing a green dress shirt) was outstanding. He took note of my name and called me by name and not by number. He brought the food to the table. The new grilled shrimp tacos are so yummy and all the different salsa made them even better! My kids enjoy the chicken tacos because the chicken is not spicy at all!

Great food and good customer service. I’ve gone there for years but the new management has really made eating there more pleasant. The most recent time I was there I ordered the taco trio. It had one fried mahi, one grilled mahi, and one shrimp taco. They were all delicious! Love how they have unlimited chips and salsa.

I’m assuming the gentleman screaming out the order numbers at the top of his lungs is because people aren’t paying attention most of the time, but in terms of ambiance, it’s terribly distracting. If you can get past that, there are a few good things. The salsa bar is nothing short of amazing and easily the best thing about this place. The portions are huge, you definitely get what you pay for. My nacho platter was just okay. They skimped on the cheese and put what seems like an entire can of beans on it. I would have preferred a combination of real melted cheese and some queso. Half way through my nachos the cheese was hard and cold. My table was dirty and the tray I was served my food on was also dirty. The selling point here is really bang for your buck. If you want just decent food for not much cash, Baja Fresh is a good bet. Keep your expectations low and maybe you’ll be surprised.

I don’t know why all you suckers are standing in a 20 minute Chipolte line a couple blocks away when Baja is here waiting to serve you a fresh made burrito with no line and a wait that is just long enough for you to enjoy some free chips and choose from 6 different house made salsas! Yumm! Okay, I’m a little punchy because I’m just off a grilled fish Baja style burrito with some spicy diablo sauce that kicked butt! So, I get it, Chipolte food is good and they serve you a burrito the size of a Pomeranian… but they charge you $ 3 to put a little guac in there, the line is to the door EVERY day, and the chips aren’t free. The new Baja Fresh menu presents 5 different burritos, 6 different meats and you can mix and match the ingredients however you want. And two of those are shrimp and fish… and you can get that fish grilled or fried. A seafood burrito, are you kidding me?!? They don’t skimp on the meat and if you get the Baja burrito, guess what… the guac comes with it! It’s a lot of food, it’s made fresh, and you’re not eating it on prison furniture. They both serve good food, but Baja has more meal options and if you want to get away from the«fresh» look they’ll cover that sucker in enchilada sauce, more cheese, and broil it. That’s not my first choice but I see you people head down, fork and knife in hand, going to work on those monstrosities every time I’m in there. They have grilled soft tacos, which look good, but are frankly a little more expensive than the authentic mex places which charge $ 2.5 a taco and here they are $ 9 for two, including rice and beans. The salads have been good in the past, kids eat for 99 cents on Mondays, and I’m glad we have this alternative to choose from. Now just stop trying to sell me that stupid refillable cup. You know it isn’t going to be with me or clean when I want to use it and everyone I work with doesn’t need to know I bought the collector’s cup.

Stopped in for a quick to-go burrito. Was not disappointed. The cashier(Josie?) took my order with smile, and the other smiling lady handed me my order in less than four minutes. The burrito was good, not great, but more than acceptable. The salsa bar, again, was not great but good enough. I will return.

Ok, sadly I had to update because I see a trend here since my last update, first I am sooo disappointed with the salsa bar, the pico de gallo tastes very very industrial, as in it’s not fresh! The tomatoes were very bland, a good, salsa you can taste the lime juices. And other seasonings, this tasted like it came directly from some food, order, company. The sauces are very watery now than chunky like In the past and at other locations. What I didn’t like, is i was about to be waited on, I guess the guy in red was the manager, and kept leaving me, to help another cashier, I don’t mind helping but a excuse, I will brb. Or I’m sorry, and he had to start all over with my order. I order, a steak tacos and when I got, my food it was pink!!! I sent it back that lost a star, my hubby got a fish taco and it was a dry! The pinto beans were hard. Yuck,. I’ll give it one more shot. But this location is beginning to lose it’s passion that it once had. I hope they improve but seriously, the undercooked meat that they gave me is inexcusable. What if I had my order to go and I had a burrito where i couldn’t see the meat? I would have gotten very I’ll.

Positive changes have been made here. The dining area was updated. No more worn out seating. Everything was well maintained and clean. The place was close to packed for lunch. Food was coming out in a timely manner. The salsa bar was well stocked with fresh condiments. My salad entrée was well prepared. The salad items were cold and fresh tasting. The generous portion of chicken was warm, juicy and well seasoned.

A nice and clean place to order some fast food and eat there. This place is one of the nice ones of the Baja chains. It’s newer and cleaner, the food comes out pretty quick and the staff is nice. However, out of the bajas in the area — some reason this one never tastes as good at the other ones. Overall it’s a nice place to go for Baja if you’re dining in. If you’re getting take out than the interior shouldn’t be too big of a deal. The food is good depending on what you get, my favorite is the taco salad.

Wow!!! What a turn around. Previously I rated the establishment as 3⁄5 stars… but after I was contacted by the general manager for my moderate experience and he expressed his apologies I have to give Baja Fresh 5⁄5 stars!!! It feels good to know that they care about customer service and repeat business! Since my first visit I have eaten at Baja Fresh again and the food was amazing and fresh(I was so full lol). I will be back soon for more tacos! Yum!

This location is disappointing. The fish in my fish taco was dry, overcooked. The shrimp tacos had 3 little shrimps in it. The tacos were mainly filled with cabbage.

The food is good and always fresh. I like the salsa bar with all the different types of salsa, plus their menu has more selections then Chipotle.

I don’t understand all of the positive reviews of this place. The food is mediocre, and the prices that they charge are out of line with the products that they are serving. The pico de gallo, for example, looks pale. I understand you can’t always have seasonal vegetables, but come on. All of their food isn’t bad, but you can’t expect to thrive in such a competitive business such as the restaurant business when you’re serving a two taco combo with plastic-tasting black beans for $ 7, and expect people to pay for a drink as well. I’ll take your Malibu Barbie Dream House sized water cup instead, thanks. For average Mexican food, you can get a Chipotle burrito that will put you in a food coma. I hate to be that person, but it’s true.
