Dinner was amazing. Don’t get fooled by the inside, their back patio, outdoor seating is to die for. Met the owners(not knowing who they were) and they are an amazing family. My new favorite place. The food is awesome.

Loved it all! The food, the service & the interiors! The buratta e prosciutto was to die for. I had the penne with sausage ragù after which was also fantastic. I’ll be back for sure.

This place is amazing! From the relaxed and knowledgable staff to the ambience and food… everything was spot on! The buratta app, with a glass of wine, is a delicious way to start your decision making process for your next courses. The Caesar salads were cool and crisp with the perfect amount of tangy flavor. The basil that’s added to their version was a beautifully fresh touch… and the croutons, perfection! We had the chicken parm and the meat lasagna… both were delicious. The chicken parm was served in a ceramic skillet straight out of the oven. It’s served on a generous portion of smoked polenta(yummy) with a brilliant tomatoe sauce and buratta on top. My partner had the lasagna(w meat sauce)…again, delicious! The layers were flavorful and delicately stacked with thin wide ribbons of pasta. It was not a «heavy» experience that often comes along with lasagna… perfect ratio of ingredients. For lasagna lovers, you know how crucial that is. I definitely recommend this place! Thank you for a great experience! We’ll be back!

Came here last night to celebrate my birthday with my family. We were also celebrating my sister-in-law’s bday as well. We had a reservation and were seated right away. Service was very good. David was constantly checking on us to make sure we were happy. He was able to answer all of our questions and when he didn’t know he went and found out for us(regarding a special if it were gluten free and yes, it was — yay!). The drinks were beautifully crafted and tasted amazing. The wine selection had interesting glasses as well as bottles. The prices were what I’d expect for the area. Loved the Unti rose. I also LOVE that they support locals by discounting the corkage. For that alone I will be back. You just can’t beat that. The restaurant itself is decorated wonderfully and I loved the feel of the bar. Next time I’d like to check out their patio. All the food was delicious as well as the desserts. Truly a fun experience. I will visit again!

Beautiful patio. Definitely eat there. We had the clam, calamari and sausage sauté with a delicious red sauce, with penne. Just wonderful. The molten chocolate cake was divine. They use Callebaut, a high quality chocolate, and you can really taste it. Go there.

Great bar and a fantastic selection of cocktails, food is also very good(but not quite as good as some of the other offerings in the area…). Very welcoming service, excellent ambiance, definitely one of our favorites in this neck of the woods.

I went to lunch there today and it was amazing. I love the outdoor seating it is beautiful and the new interior is very pretty. As always the food was really good. Yes, it is that good. I love the ravioli and the kale salad is on point! I had to get a kale salad to go to go with my husbands left over lasagna(that is going to disappear out of the fridge in the morning). The desserts didn’t disappoint either. The service was on point and exceeded my expectations! I will tell you I have traveled the world and this is still my favorite Italian place. If your looking for amazing ravioli without making them yourself this is the place to eat!

Wine county casual at its best with homemade pasta and Italian excellence. We started with two speciality cocktails that were really good, calamari with great dipping sauce. The lasagne with meat sauce is amazing. Great service and atmosphere.

A group of nine of us stopped in for dinner on Saturday at Catelli’s to cap off our bachelorette weekend in Geyserville. With how many of us there were, we were able to cover a significant portion of the pasta menu. While I wasn’t able to try everyone’s dishes, I had a few samplings, in addition to the kale salad I had. My salad was great, and I really liked the burrata we shared as an appetizer. Everyone that we talked to at the various wineries we visited told us that Catelli’s was a great choice for dinner, so it also gets a ringing endorsement from the locals too! While some of the dishes we had weren’t great(I was told the spaghetti wasn’t very good, the pasta of the day was a little too reminiscent of green juice, and the cannoli was weird and not consistent with a traditional cannoli), my salad was fresh and delicious, and the seasonal carbonara was FABULOUS. While service was a little slow(maybe a function of having nine people at the table), our server was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. If you’re in Geyserville, this is a cute, home-grown business that is worth checking out for dinner!

Used to be one of my favorite go to restaurants. The Michael’s special was always the bomb! I would give 5 stars for the service and outside atmosphere but something’s changed with the food. Did the get s new chef? Are they using less quality ingredients? The rabbit while very expensive was dried out and tasteless and the micheals special is just not the same. Thought we may have hit it on a bad night but our friends stated they had same experience on their last 2 visits.

Excellent. Only observation is that Unilocal gives a cost rating of $$. Nuh uh. $$$ is more appropriate. $ 17.50 for a hamburger isn’t $$, eh? But worth it, no argument there at all. Lovely interior but we ate on the patio. Included a pic of the marble because it’s pretty nifty. My lovely wife had Spring Fling cocktail. Very refreshing and great sweet/sour balance. For eats I got the chicken sandwich with upgrade to truffle fries and she had mushroom/sausage sauce pasta. Both top notch. A touch of spice in her sauce and when she couldn’t finish I piled sausage and shrooms and sauce on their sour dough bread for an ersatz sausage sub. Truffle fries are very fancy pants, heavily dusted with Parmesan and redolent of truffle, garlic, and spice. Yum. Chicken was very good as well, although not quiiite as good as the pasta. Super knowledgeable and helpful server Will gave excellent insight into the food and was basically just terrific. The people around the bar as we left were clearly having a great time and the bar tender was sure to give a wave and a nice«great to have you here; have a wonderful day». My take is … Go there!

Stopped by on our roadtrip. The staff is super friendly, the Virginia ravioli is absolutely delicious and their kale salad and bread are great. Ask for their iced coffee with orange peel too, it’s really good! Definitely recommend!

A local favorite, you always know someone when you walk in the door! The raviolis are the best for an appetizer, lasagna is way better than moms! I love the kale salad too. It’s fun knowing the chef is the owner so the presentation is always well done & shows pride in the plates!

I adore the vegetarian marinara and especially the Meatball Sliders. The back patio is nice unless the weather is cold or too hot. The front of the house is super-friendly and well-trained. You owe it to yourself!

Our new favorite place! Well, maybe now on our list of favorites, lol… the service was too notch, truly. The drinks were made by a craftsman bar tender and every single thing we saw or tasted was off the charts. The ambiance is the perfect blend of big city trendy and small town down home. Great wine list too. Will be a very regular stop for us for sure. Cheers!

BESTMEALEVER. My wife and I found this place on a trip to wine country and… WOW…we still talk about it. We had an amazing meal paired with the best wine. This may be one of those«one in a million» meals but I can’t wait to go back. I’ve rated many great restaurants but this one tops the list. GO, GO, GO… go right now if you are in the area.

A friend of ours suggested this because of our preference for organic and local foods. True to his word everything was just that. Plus it was really yummy :). We went in on a Wednesday and it wasn’t very busy, but about an hour into our stay(we kind of take our time) the place was bustling. We had the burrata, kale salad, special roasted chicken, and hand made ravioli. All of it was wonderful! I am always pleased when we go out and a meal we have is equal or better than what we make at home and the chicken was spot on complete with crispy skin. The ravioli was perfectly cooked with fresh handmade pasta and the kale salad was very similar to one I make at home. The staff was very kind and they all helped one another out and it seemed everyone around us was enjoying their meal immensly. They seemed to have many regulars and there were smiles from wall to wall. We will return to this joint which is not far off the beaten path.

Simply the BEST. Great food! Great people, they serve you well and it’s currently my favorite restaurant. Lemon chicken pasta is a favorite! Love all of their appetizers! Can’t pick one! Nick and his wife did fabulous job opening up this restaurant! I’ll be sure to visit often this year!

I wish this restaurant wasn’t all the way in Geyserville, because I’d go all the damn time. This place is really damn good. I’m going to keep this review short and sweet and highlight three things that rocked my life. 1) Lasagna. 10 layers of super thin, incredibly delicious noodles with amazing ricotta, meat sauce, and mozzarella. THISISHOWLASAGNAISSUPPOSEDTOTASTE. 2) Spaghetti with clams. Let’s just start by saying that their noodles are ridiculously amazing in texture – perfectly al dente and slightly doughy. Can’t say enough good things about how well they do something so commonly overlooked. The clams were really fresh too. 3) California Carbonara. I don’t really like Carbonara in general, but this really blew my mind. It is freakin’ delicious. Super creamy but not overwhelming – it was really special. Easy 5 stars. Come hungry, buy a bottle of wine, enjoy.

Another excellent meal al Catelli’s! Ben, our server was great! Cheese ravioli with red sauce was to die for. Also my first time trying clams.fantastic. Nothing to compare it to but I’ll be nervous to order them anywhere else. Everything is really fresh. Perfect meal.

My hubby and I stopped in today for a super late lunch. First off I noticed the lovely ambience. It was nicely decorated for the holidays, they had candles scattered about in TVs bar and when I used the restroom, I saw they had a very nice patio that I bet is awesome in the summer. We tried the meatball slides; good but not spectacular. The prosciutto and burrata cheese was the bomb; when is burrata cheese not good? The presentation matches the deliciousness. Last we had the kale salad; super yummy with pecans, crushed croutons and blood oranges made my mouth smile. We finished off with a glass tawny port and a fruit crisp with vanilla bean ice cream; it was good but it would not be my first pick next time. I’d definitely go back as the service was welcoming, the wine pours are spot on, the food is definitely 4 stars and the atmosphere is really nice.

We have visited this restaurant numerous times — it is located in proximity to Diavola which is another similar place, albeit with a more limited food offering. Catelli’s has a nice and family friendly atmosphere and during the warmer days one can sit outside. We came here again with 2 of our friends from the South Bay and did enjoy our visit although my wife’s Lasagna came somewhat cold but that was quickly remedied and the waiter comped that selection. Our friends had the three meat Ravioli which they liked very much. I ordered the Clam, Sausage and Calamari Sauté which was piping hot(the way I like it) and I do recommend it. Overall a place to visit.

Never have I been more happy to give a restaurant a second chance! It has been over 3 years since the last time I crossed the threshold at Catelli’s. My first experience was a mess and downright disappointing, but when my beloved and I stopped in about a week ago, it was a completely different Catelli’s. The exterior and décor was still the same, but boy have they nailed the menu! They are more focused on doing a few things GREAT rather than overreaching. I respect that and the evolution of the restaurant really shows. We shared the beet salad, 10 layer lasagna, and I had half and half raviolis with the meat sauce. ALLWEREFANTASTIC. Bravo to Catelli’s. Now my decision on where to eat in Geyserville got a bit more complicated…

Five stars all the way! The Catelli kids have done the family proud. The restaurant is decorated nice with a Guyserville foodie wine and family feel. The wedding venue out back is very nice and welcoming. Nicely planted with greenery all around in an amphitheater design. They have an awesome herb garden out back as well and very healthy. This night I was at a wedding. The food was Polenta, Braised Pork with cannellini bean and the braised chicken. It was an awesome rustic Italian feeling meal. Oh and the apps… Hose made mozzarella cheese with olive oil. It was warm and oh so good. Prosciutto piled high with a Prosciutto warped prawn with crab Cristinini. All served family style! Everything about this place screams Italian American Family. The place is warm and inviting for sure!

Will most likely try this place again! They had a simple menu — so simple that I had a hard time picking out what to eat. Seems like their famous for their ravioli so I’ll definitely try that next time. My friend loved her seafood sauce without the pasta as they made it especially to her liking. The ambiance is lively and fun but I’ll try the patio maybe during the summer. I was expecting more from their menu but I think it’s best to stick to what their best at and it’s again, the ravioli and the sausage meatballs. Really had a great time with friends here. They key is being in a small town too. You could have been in any West LA restaurant but in the middle of wine country. Fabulous!

Once again… hit it out of the park! Came in with my mom and boyfriend for dinner on a Saturday evening. I decided to have the portabello burger again and am glad I did. I know I should try something else, but this item is just perfect! My boyfriend had the pasta special and raved about it. After having calamari and warm bread, he wasn’t able to finish his dish. He took most of it home and had it the next day. He said he liked it even better the next day after the sauce flavors had had a day to soak into the noddles. My only caveat is that we had to ask for bread. Not sure if it was an oversight of our waiter, but I know during my first visit it was brought out immediately. Till next time!

Skip lunch, come hungry! The portions are fit for a Queen(or King). Catelli’s is the perfect way to sop up all of the wine tasting during the day. They’ve been around since the 30’s, so they have longevity, some serious recipes and classic style. Start with the meatball appetizer — the sauce has a bit of spice to it while the sautéed meat is filling and juicy without having that mushy taste some meatballs can have. For the greenery order the Kale salad — It is finely chopped, tossed with what I think are caramelized pecans and parmesan cheese. Trust me, it sounds light, but this salad was extremely flavorful. For the main course, our party was lucky enough to sample both the Lasagna & Chicken Parmesan. This is exactly what your tastebuds want to taste when you think of Italian Lasagna & Chicken Parmesan. The sauce under the Lasagna was so red, it had to have been simmered in a robust red wine such as a Bordeaux. Under the Chicken Parmesan is a smoked polenta, which reminded me of southern grits. mmmm! If you come with a date great! If you want to have a party, even better. Reserve the private room just off the main dinning area. It should comfortably seat 40. There is a fireplace as well as a separate entrance/exit. The proximity to the restrooms and outdoor patio area is perfect for keeping your party more of a private function. Do check out the patio, it is lovely — if I recall there is a separate bar outside. I didn’t try their coffee, but the chamomile tea was probably the best chamomile I have ever tasted. Extraordinarily aromatic. As with most establishments in wine country, this restaurant is not cheap, so come hungry and don’t forget the bank.
