Wine, Food, Views, Oh My! An expansive winery patio perched high above the valley floor, combined with acres of vines stretched out before you, and some amazing wine and food choices. Not too shabby. With all of the options available, it is easy to find YOUR perfect wine experience at Sbragia Family Winery in Dry Creek Valley.

Amazing location. Unfortunately the service here was subpar. Felt rushed and ignored mostly. It was close to lunch time.

The views on top of the hill are pretty amazing, but what is up with their wine? I can only guess people come for the ambiance and just deal with the wine being just barely ok. We smiled through our teeth and poured out the wine when no one was looking, a first for us.

We headed to Sbragia as our last winery stop for the day, because we wanted to save the nice view for last. Granted it situated at the end of the road, and at the hill top. From their patio you can view the dry creek valley, which I will admit it is beautiful. It remains me of the view from Sterling Vineyard at Napa valley. Anyhow, the tasting room is huge but there is only one counter for tasting. They also specialize in zinfandel like the rest of dry creek valley but it wasn’t as tasty as the other places. They would waiver the tasting fee if you buy a bottle of wine. Tasting fee was $ 20, quite a lot for drycreek valley, but it would be waived if you buy any bottle of wine.

Gorgeous, amazing view. Worth the drive out to the end of the Dry Creek Valley. Had a great tasting with Andrew. He was super knowledgable and was able to recommend a bottle that we loved. The wine is truly some of the best I have ever had. Really worth a visit.

Great view, good wine, decent food, average customer service. One girl had pretty eyes, one out of four stars for her alone.

This place is so beautiful. The wine tastes amazing. I also got some souvenir things from there. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The somalies are very knowledgeable and obliging. Events and snacks are very good. I can’t wait to go back. It was truly a vacation, we hung out on the patio overlooking the mountains.

I had to make sure and leave a review after such a wonderful tasting. My wife and I are looking for our first home and felt like we needed a little break. Fast forward to beautiful scenery, wonderful vino, and fantastic service. Shout out to Anita for making our time extra special! She was super informative and didn’t make fun of me for asking noob questions! We will have to return for some more fun memories!

Wines were delicious and even got to try some off script including a side by side of the 2011 and 2012 Andolsen. Delicious. :) Anita was fabulous.

We had a good tasting experience in the patio during a beautiful day. We got there right when the tasting was going to stop being seated outside, and they let us in. The wines were a great mix building from the white to bolder reds. A great stop!

Sbragia winery is located at the west end of dry creek valley, furthest away from the 101 freeway but do make the drive out to visit their space. They have a large open space for picnics or to just spend a day out. Perched a top a hill, the winery offers stunning views of the valley and really captures the beauty of dry creek. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable and will walk you through the wines and take time to share with you about them. They have an awesome selection of Cab Sauv and their takes on Zinfandel and Chardonnay are examples of quintessential Napa/Sonoma style wines. If you’re looking for a beautiful venue that still maintains its Sonoma county roots check this winery out. Good wine, great space, not much more one can ask for

By far, the WORST customer service we had received within the area. They were recommended by a local vineyard whom we make several purchases throughout the year. So we decided to make a stop only to run into an employee who was rude and grumpy. To set the tone, we are not your average wine connoisseur. We only go to 2 — 4 vineyards per day and only sample small lot productions(red wine only). What this means is, we are only there for 15 — 20 minutes. As soon as we walked through the doors, we were greeted with a grumpy lady who said, «we are getting ready to close in about 15 — 20 minutes». What was baffling to us was, there were at least 15 people there. She was more concerned with closing then making a sale. As a result of her poor judgement and bad attitude, we have decided we would NEVER return. In fact, we informed the vineyard who made the recommendation and they have informed us they would NEVER make another recommendation to their repeating customers to make a stop. Good luck in selling your wines with such talented and friendly staff!

the attraction here is definitely the scenic views from the patio, but they do not do their wine tastings on this scenic view patio kind of ruining the point of the location. There was an adorable little dog there. Wines were ok but no one loved any.

This stop was a pleasant surprise. We were at a neighboring place and we asked them where they send their friends, and they said, with little prompting, Sbragia, and so off we went. The wine is great, and, knowing that the wine maker worked at Beringer for a number of years, it was expected. What wasn’t expected was the great patio with spectacular views of the surrounding area. We bought a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc and shared it among our group of four out on the patio beneath the shade of a great umbrella. I’ll be back…

One of the nicer views overlooking the valley. Lots of outdoors area to hang out. They also have a little food section for those that want to grab a snack and sip some wine on their outdoor platform balcony. Our sommelier was knowledgeable and gave us a lot of history and background info on all the wines. Great service and great views. Would recommend coming here.

Wow! This place is so incredible! We visited Sbragia while on vacation in Sonoma, and nothing compares to the unbelievable view of the dry creek valley. Our host, Anita, was so sweet and knowledgeable. We tasted a few wines, all of which were so great – the best we tasted on our trip! We wound up buying a bottle of their amazing chardonnay to drink on the terrace. SUCH a perfect ending to our trip. This place is so relaxing and serene! So hard to be back at work now – we’re already making plans for our next trip to NorCal and Sbragia will definitely be on the list!

First off this location is just amazing! Its a little farther out and the drive is a bit windy but it is totally worth it. It feels like you are the only people out there. The grounds are so beautiful. If I go back I am definitely spending some time on the deck enjoying a picnic. I had the Sonoma passport so the tasting was free… apparently if you have a visa signature card the tasting is free as well. The had a wine variety of wines and let us try two different chardonnays. I was most surprised with their merlot– they put petit verdot and cabernet franc in it and it totally changes the wine! I typically dislike merlot but the addition of these other grapes really made the wine stand out. If I am in the area again I would stop back here for sure, the wines are pretty reasonably prices and the ladies here are very friendly!

The views are outstanding Come look at the views and enjoy a nice picnic. Grab a bottle and enjoy the view. Matt and his staff are very nice. I love it and can’t wait to come back Try out some new wines and you will enjoy the whole day. It’s out of this world crazy good. They hold other events there as well which looks very nice. The parking is easy and drive out is really relaxing.

One of the many benefits of living in Northern California is we can easily hit up some of the worlds best wineries. Dry Creek is a short drive over the Golden Gate, and even though you’re only an hour and 15 minutes from the hustle and bustle of San Francisco, you feel like you’re a 1000 miles from anywhere… It’s a great feeling. We recently made an overnight trip to Wine Country and hit up a few wineries that(for whatever reason) we had never been. Sbragia(I must admit), was not on my radar but our friends from Texas said it came highly recommended from another winery. I came with high expectations, but for me it just missed the mark. I am usually one who appreciates smaller boutique wineries, so to be fair you may prefer Sbragia. The winery rests on a hill and offers a fantastic view of the valley. But a few things for missed the mark. The winery is lavish and seemed to attract the Ritz Carlton crowd(not a super bad thing), but again I am one who prefers a casual setting. The tasting fee of $ 15.00 is one of the higher fees you will find. The wine(albeit) good, was a little on the pricey side considering the quality of those found in the area. Sbragia is the perfect winery to bring your out of town friends. But if you’re truly looking for a unique wine tasting experience, there are plenty of others in the area I would check out.

So good that I became a wine club member. We really enjoyed the wines at this winery. Anne and I tried a little different menu, she had more whites and I had more reds. I really enjoyed the wines as they all had a smooth finish, and the flavors matched well to the smell of the fruits within the wines. We were greeted promptly and learned about the story of the winery. Very friendly staff made our visit a great time. There is a huge patio that over looks the valley and allows for great pictures. There are several tables on the patio and you can bring a picnic lunch to enjoy with your bottle of wine! There were a few groups enjoying a picnic lunch while we there. The outside patio furniture was very comfortable and is shaded. I recommend bringing a picnic lunch and enjoying the a glass or bottle of your favorite Sbragia wine!
