A&W

Possibly the worst place i have ever eaten. None of the tables were clean for us to sit down, i ended up cleaning a table off by myself. There was a woman already trying to explain something that wasnt put in her order that she had paid for… that should have tipped us off. My dad ordered our food and it came back missing quite a few items but it was even worth it because the guy at the counter didnt seem capable of understanding anything at all. We all had to go to the bathroom before we came in but we definitely waited until we had left and went to a gas station instead. I would not recommend this place at all and i wanted to shout warnings to everyone else walking in.

Came here on a Wednesday afternoon and it was pretty clean overall. The service was nice and the food was what was to be expected from fast food. The family had root beer floats and corn dog nuggets. I was really expecting somethings pretty bad after reading all the reviews, but didn’t have a negative experience.

Absolute worst experience. Waited 30 minutes to get food! Complete joke! Dirty store, terrible service

Dirty and understaffed
It’s been this way for a long time. I won’t bother to stop again and give it another try.
Sticky floor, trash on the floors, tables aren’t kept cleen, flies inside and the restrooms are gross

I’ve been dining out for over 40 years, in nine different countries, and this is quite possibly the dirtiest restaurant I have ever seen.
One entire section of the restaurant was taken over by a woman and her many unruly children who were apparently camped out there for the day. Or maybe she was «babysitting» for the crew, it was hard to tell.
We were starving when we arrived. Ordered some food, waited, brought it to the table, looked at it, looked at each other, and wordlessly got up to deposit it in the trash on the way out.

This place has to be the worst A & W in history! Evidently (based on other posts) this place frequently runs out of rootbeer, chicken (KFC) combo restaurant and has heinous service. This place either needs new management or should be shut down. I have to put at least one star to post this. If I could I would give this place minus 5 stars.

If you want to get some sort of disease, then this is your place! Yea, it’s seriously that dirty. I come here occasionally, and it’s always filthy. I’ll go through the drive through so I can at least be a bit oblivious as I get my root beer fix, but half the time the drive through is closed. There’s seriously questionable colored splatters allover the bathroom walls, floors, toilet. well, anything and everything really. There’s also notes written allover the bathroom how it’s super dirty, asking to clean it etc. This last time I went I ordered a freeze and they made me go fill it up to the right line, then bring it back to them to get the ice cream put in. So, I had to make my damn drink pretty much. I can’t tell if all of the workers are lazy, or it’s just terrible management. Regardless, this place is a rats nest; I just want my root beer darnit!

This place was FILTHY! The service was beyond bad and on top of all that they were out of rootbeer!!! This place should be shut down!

I am wanted to give this place 3 stars but they were so nice to me.

If so then their frozen mug is something you gonna like.
I don’t agree agree that this place is dirty, it was supper clean when I was here. Maybe we make those places dirty because we don’t care about those hard working fellows.
Today is a rainy slow day and those people are making their best to make us happy.
I would like here to mention that Anna was a great worker.
I didn’t try the hot dog, but my chicken tenders were good enough.
The french fries were a bit oily but everything else was okay.
I will come back here again for sure !

It’s 8:42 on Sunday Dec. 28^th — they are out of root beer. Only have the diet root beer.
After ordering and looking at Unilocal they were out of root beer 3 months ago as well. How can they be out of what they are well known for???

Dirty dirty dirty. Sticky floors filthy bathroom. Chicken was soggy and tired. Root beer float was fine. Yuk!

On our way back from a tiny vacation from San Francisco, my boyfriend and I stopped by at this A&W because we no longer have one out where we live. Once we pulled up, our server seemed a little cranky. And I believe I’m pretty understanding– people have bad days. She asked us to wait to the side for our food and being ketchup fiends, my boyfriend went in to ask for a gallon or so of ketchup while waiting for the food. When he came back, he said she still seemed rude.
We didn’t receive napkins with our meal, and the fries were obviously fried in old oil. And the worst part of the customer service that we received was when we noticed that there were free root beer floats being given out and when my boyfriend asked about it she just said it was some sort of promotion they were having, and never offered it! So that was kind of awful.
Maybe it was just a busy, crappy day for everyone– at least our burgers were good.
So, I’d give this one star because the service was pretty shitty, the food was so-​so, and like some of the other comments here, this seems like a reoccurring problem. Hopefully something will change in the future.

Hair in my tray and hair on my straw from my root beer float. SO. GROSS.

Shame on me for eating an A&W chili cheese dog and ordering onion rings. I barely ate 2 onion rings because they were so gross. The billboards always make them look better than they are in real life. They’ve got nothing on Casper’s. 2 stars for their somewhat decent soft serve cone. Otherwise, stay away or order from the KFC menu instead.
