I’m giving 2 stars because I’ve liked Denny’s and I used to work at this location but nothing has made my dine in experience really come out to be outstanding and there’s some good servers. It’s just a place to eat. This review is mainly about a to-go order I purchased. I ordered the wild salmon skillet for lunch. As I’m almost done with my meal and basically fully devoured everything, I ended up noticing a big spot of MOLD in my salmon. So gross! I wouldn’t even have noticed it because of the herbs and spices in the salmon but this is a big indicator that it’s mold. I attached 2 photos of the moldy part. Denny’s. Please check your food and expiration dates! This is absurd and shouldn’t even happen!

It’s 130 on Sunday morning. Needed a pancake and hash brown fix. Fortunately Dennys is open and they did not disappoint. Joshua is fabulous, actually returned at the appropriate time to check in. I would totally hire him away if I were staffing a restaurant. The place is clean, well lit. The food was served hot and quickly. Very pleased.

The food was average The customer service was really bad. I understand what it means to be the only person taking care of the customers but politeness and professionalism are a must in a service business. We waited a really long time for our food. The only waitress kept ignoring us. We had to go to her and ask for a box; she never came back. Also assuming that customers understand colloquial Spanish is unacceptable. First, Spanish is not my native language, but fine I know the language and I can use it for communication. But when the waitress started using terms native of central america countries I was confused so I asked the meaning. She looked at me as I were an alien. Omigod, never going there again!

One of the worst Denny’s l ever been to. Came here for breakfast with my wife. She ordered an omelet and ask for no mushrooms. When our foods came, of course the omelet have mushrooms on top and inside the omelet. Waitress didn’t bother to notice that. Only after when we finish then she noticed my wife have mushrooms push aside in her plate. When we went to pay, my wife was going to show the cashier our Denny’s Diner Perks number but she said they don’t do that there. Really, there is a sign that said how join the Denny’s Diner Perks right in front of her. This place deserve the bad rating on Unilocal

I like it here very much. I come here with my 6 year old daughter. The food is always great kudos to the chef! I always have a positive experience. Once in awhile we’ll have a bad day, but no complaints so far. Going there today and going to enjoy a delicious meal there.

Excellent service! Good food! My husband and I sat at the counter and we saw everyone from the kitchen staff, waitresses and Manager helping each other. They were cheerful and helpful with everyone. We will definitely be coming back here ! Thank you, Viriviana!

Sat at the counter with my daughter, right off the staff seemed overwhelmed and disorganized. Many dirty plates in the counter and we waited more than 10 minutes for our drinks. When I asked one of the waitresses behind the counter(Elisa) about our drinks, she rudely explained to me with widened eyes that I should ask my server. Good was okay. It’s Denny’s. No coffee refill offered. Later when at the cashier, Elisa was complaining about a customer moving from one table to another to the hostess. Being rude again, this time to a co-worker. 1 star for rude and inattentive staff.

Most disorganized place I’ve seen so far. I understand it is near outlets, but its no excuse. They had enough servers, just standing and acting busy. The service is very slow, and even the food was ready and kept there and no one bothered to put it on the table. First time I got out without paying tip.

I must have gone on a great day… While on a mini road trip with my daughter, aunt, & little cousin, my aunt experienced a medical condition which landed her in the ER. I was left having to entertain two 6yr olds. We came to Denny’s to eat and to kill a bit of time. We were seated immediately and ordered our food & drinks right away as well. Our server was very nice & attentive & had great interaction with the girls. Our food came out promptly & everything was satisfying.

Someone please open a quality restaurant in Gilroy!!! We went to the Outlets to shop and were hoping to find someplace to eat other than In and Out and McD’s. We’ve tried Fresh Choice in the past, which has gone way downhill, and Applebee’s is mediocre too. Today we gave Denny’s a shot. Slow service, had to ask our waitress what happened to our food. The egg sandwich that my daughter ordered had some American cheese instead of cheddar and a slab of ham mixed in with an egg and some sausage and bacon. The hash browns on the side were completely white, straight out of the freezer with a hint of crispness only. My caesar salad was edible but not great, with some chicken that came out of the freezer too. We had to grab the waitress to get our bill when we wanted to leave. Overall, not a good experience and we won’t be back. How about opening a Boudin’s in Gilroy? Or a Super Duper burger? There seems to be a huge demand for something better than the offerings that are available now. With thousands of people shopping there every day, how about opening something new? I’m sure it would do well.

Lol yeah… Surprised I have to agree with most reviews here. Been without a refill on soda or coffee since we ran out the first time. Asked for diced bacon on my food, it was forgotten. Asked for side of bacon, see disgraced bacon in photo. Roommate asked for no mushrooms, mushrooms on his plate. Had to ask for refills because waiter was overlooking everything. What. A. Shitshow. Someone else posted about the skillet handle… Hey, think we had the same one!!! Overall, this was a shitty experience. I came here last year and service was way more acceptable. Keep it classy, Denny’s.

This place sucks, my waiter was speaking like if he had bad breath and didnt want us to smell it. He sat a couple in a booth for like five people and I didn’t know if he didn’t know how to speak English or if he just didn’t want to take our order. Not to mention they had no soup of the day or any soup. They also didn’t have broccoli as a side and figured it be okay to load the damn skillet with more rock hard potatoes. Worse thing? The skillet handle mitt was atrocious!!! I don’t know if that was mold or a whole other life form forming. Worse place by far! I was going to invite my friend but he didn’t do anything to deserve this. Take your wife to McDonald’s for better service, she’s probably have a better time at the DMV. The last and final straw was that the waiter gave us our bill while we were still eating.

Bad service. I was seated 15 minutes ago; no acknowledgment, no nothing. I will be walking out in the next 5 minutes if no one shows. This is really ridiculous. God, service just sucks across the board now days, but I guess that’s expected with what has taken over the service industry. People with no skills have these jobs now; another reason I limit going out to eat nowadays. Finally got the food. The eggs on the sandwich were nothing but a big ball in the middle of the sandwich. I had to cut the ball of eggs and lay them flat to make it possible to eat. God this place just sucks. This must be what it’s like in a third world country! Honestly, dining here really does feel like you’re in a third world country, based on the environment, people that work here, etc.

We had the most amazing server tonight Miranda was so kind friendly and accommodating. She was professional with her demeanor and appearance. I absolutely loved my experience tonight and want to drive out to Gilroy from Morgan hill just to come to this Denny’s because of how fantastic she displayed customer service. Every Denny’s employee should be like her!

As usual, everyone has a happy Denny’s sort of demeanor and they seat rather quickly considering I usually go at that peak dinner hour when the outlet closes and everyone remembers they need to eat. Just okay rating because the food takes forever to go out and they never get my eggs right, over medium. Plus, fries are over done. More of a 2.5 star tbh.

This is the smallest Denny’s ever for the large population of people pouring though the door. Had to wait 20 mins to be seated on a Sunday night. The server was nice but I saw my food sit in the window for roughly 10 minutes before being delivered to me. Why scoop it on the plate if it’s going to take so long for the other dinners in the order? It was noticeably not fresh tasting(seemed microwaved). Though they were super busy so we were just happy to get food. An Oreo milkshake made me feel better;)
