Came at 9:30. Wanted wings. They said they were all out. After a minute the girl said they could cook some more but it would take 10 mins or more. I asked what they had ready, she replied«what do you want?» I wanted wings!!! If your open till 10, don’t cleanup till your closed. Do your job on time

I don’t know if the owners know this but I received some chicken strips and half of them were just breaded skin. Looks like someone is slicing them in half to make 2 strips out of 1.

Notoriously out of chicken, so tonight I called in the order for an original recipe bucket meal with a chocolate cake. First, she insisted the cake was there when it’s plainly obvious it wasn’t, and finally gave us one. Then, we get home and discover the entire bucket is crispy rather than original. So I call and speak to the manager, who tells me it’s impossible it was crispy, argues with me non-stop that she made original, and when I ask why it’s so crispy, she just says«it’s original.» Unbelievable! Horrible customer service, and horrible chicken. Next time I’ll try the Morgan Hill location.

As an employee at this KFC, reading these bad reviews makes me realize how poorly we may provide customer service during our rush hours. Just please be aware that product does sell very fast and we do have procedures and projections we have to go by each hour. We may under cook or over cook and that’s when we get stuck with having to deal with putting more chicken down for a customer and sitting there an extra hour de-boning left over chicken. There’s times where customers get too crazy on us… yes it’s KFC yes there should be chicken but the thing is that we are a «fast food» restaurant yet there’s only 4 – 5 people working each shift. It’s not McDonald’s where you have at least 10 employees on the clock at once. In my opinion it shouldn’t even be considered fast food. I understand how frustrating it can be, trust me… being on my side of the counter ain’t easy. Just be in mind that at the end of the day, we are people too! And we make mistakes, forget things, and what have you. Just have a piece of mind and don’t be rude, because the way you treat others is how you’ll get treated in return. Not everyone or everything is perfect. I also want to add with the whole having to be parked, there’s times where we have to pack and take multiple orders at once by ourselves so that’s why we park a few of the customers to help maintain our stress and getting the order more accurate. Just be kind!

They don’t have Popcorn Chicken as a $ 5 fill up anymore. If you’re like me that means you’ll be going from eating there close to once a week to more like once a year. Brilliant move, Gilroy KFC Franchise Owner! I’ll go to El Pollo Loco instead. They at least send coupons and have a stable menu offering.

Gave a 5 star for all the rude outrages customers! First off people it’s food relax. you don’t have to down grade the workers. i go to kfc maybe 3 times a month? Yeah I have to wait In line for longer than expected some times I don’t wait at all. give some credit to the workers there only human. i would be rude back if I get people throwing chicken back at me. kfc shouldt be labeled as fast food. everything is cooked to order practically. unless you want gross hard old chicken. i wait because I know I will get fresh food! We’ll worth the wait! All you rude people can kiss my ass! KFC you got my back!

Poor excuse for a KFC! Twice now I have gone through the drive-thru and twice have had to wait over 20 minutes for chicken. I go into the store to complain and ask for a refund, the manager looks at me with a «what do you want» look and I tell her it has been 25 minutes since I ordered my chicken and she looks at my receipt, goes back to the register and brings me my money, drops it in my hand and walks away. no apologizes, no nothing! I have no idea how this place stays in business! There is a McDonalds right next to it that is always packed, but with really fast service. I should have learned the first time this happened and with SOSO many options for fast food in the area, KFC will never see another dime from me or my family. Do yourself a favor and AVOID this place! Within a 1 Mile radius of this hole there are MUCH better eating options… Togos, Taco Bell, Subway, McDonalds, Wienerschnitzel, Burger King, Jack-in-the-box. Goodbye KFC!

Horrible I am went through the drive through so I could grab a quick dinner for my family of 5 just to be told that there is a 20 minute wait for all chicken!!! I’m sorry but your Kentucky fried chicken it’s in your darn name chicken!!! Meanwhile I pull up to pay and there are 5 employees joking around and standing there don’t you think maybe you should be cooking the CHICKEN?!? it’s not rocket science people lays get it together!!! Don’t have a drive through if you can’t produce the chicken fast enough for one… Horrible and of courae in a small town this is the only KFC!!! They need new management

This KFC serves up some good chicken! I really appreciate the drive up window too! The workers are friendly and fast. I ordered the 20 piece hot wings, and they used some full size wings too. Be sure to ask for hot sauce if you want it, ’cause you ain’t gettin’ any if you don’t ask! Sometimes at the end of a long day a drive up window is about all you want to see when confronted with the«what’s for dinner» query. Finger lickin’ good!

If there was no star I would give no star!!! Every time I go its the same thing«I’m sorry we don’t have that chicken available it will take 16 mins» How in the hell do you sell chicken and never have any available. It ridiculous the guy said they don’t want to make a lot because they don’t want it to go to waste so better yet lets just not have any and let the customer be forced to choose something other than chicken. The only reason I go back is because my mom loves KFC but if it were me I would never go back because you never leave satisfied. Same with ordering cookies there never is any available.

I would give it a zero but you can’t the KFC on montery is like night and day to this one I go there and the dumb bz that is taking my order must be playing grab ass with the moron that is the«cook» she is not getting the order and giggling then she tells that the stupid sandwich I was order was going to take 15 min I say why she says they are out I say at 6 freaking o clock I get the food and it is all cold and she is still giggling I say are you high Wtf awful awful AWFUL the colonel would be spinning on his grave

I have to agree with the rest of the reviews: Cruddy customer service Long wait Cold/old chicken Did not have enough of the type of chicken I ordered Overall, the worst KFC I have ever been to by leaps and bounds We went through the drive thru and ordered 2 orders of the chicken bites with potato wedges. They told us at the window with some attitude after we paid that they did not have enough of the chicken type we ordered so they would give us a chicken strip to make up for it. They did not ask if that was OK, they just stated it and closed the window. A little upset, I let it go because it was not a big deal to me and I was starving. Then we wound up waiting for about 10 minutes for our food and we were joking that they could have just made more chicken bites for us at that point to make up for the missing amount, and mistakenly assumed that by waiting that long that our food was going to be piping hot fresh. When we got home, we found that the sauce were both missing, which was upsetting, but not the end of the world as we have BBQ, different mustard’s and ranch at home any way, but then we got our chicken bites and wedges out and everything was barely warm and the chicken bites looked old and when we both tried them, they were super dry proving even more that they were totally old. It was then that we noticed that the extra strip we were supposed to get was also missing… We love KFC, but it will be a long time before we come back here. Since we work in San Jose and commute home to Gilroy we will just go to our old favorite locations up there when we need a KFC fix.

I don’t know if there is anything to add to the other reviews. Same issues really. Very long wait. Often they don’t have what you’re ordering. Surly staff. Recently we got a bucket there and they didn’t have the kind of chicken we wanted. When I started to ask the woman at the window a question about something they’d dicked-up, she tossed my CHANGE into my car and closed the window. Under other conditions I’d have gone and parked and tore inside to rip anus– but my wife wanted to go home, and I wisely recalled that there is no need to EVERGOBACK to such a gaping pit AND that others could be warned about it– which is it’s own form of revenge…

Terrible. I ordered a 2 piece dark meat meal and asked for 2 drumsticks-no thighs. I also ordered chicken bites and a small mashed potatoes and gravy. I got home to a thigh and a drumstick and no mashed potatoes. Why do they repeat your order to you if the person that makes it can’t pay attention? The chicken bites are awful, where did popcorn chicken go? I won’t ever go back as this is not the first time this has happened.

I rarely go to KFC but the two times I went there, the employees were unprofessional, rude, and just awful. They took a long time taking our order. They just stood there, walked back and forth pretending to look busy. On top of that, they talk trash behind the customer’s back. I was listening the entire time! A man was in front of us, he looked dirty, homeless, and couldn’t talk right and the girl taking his order along with another employee were making fun of him and laughing. It was just plain rude. I am never going back there. I’m telling everyone I know not to go here. Even their food was cold, and disgusting! DONOTEATHERE.

This KFC is the worst ever! Every time i get home my order is totally wrong. I stopped eating there for one year and decided to give it a try. Bad idea! First of all it was like a disco club in there, the music was cranked up and the girls were rockin out and giggly. After 15 minutes I got my order and went home. My $ 38 meal was all wrong, no white meat what so ever, all thighs. My side dishes were all wrong, and we were missing my sons chicken bites. I now had to make a trip back to town and straighten it all out. By the time I got back to the house the food was cold and no body wanted to eat it. KFC is banned from our list of places to eat. I just wish these fast food joints would hire individuals that take pride in their work and the service they provide to our community.

The one on Monterey Road isn’t any better. I’ve had to wait 15+ minutes for chicken. The only reason why I waited is that it would have taken me 45 minutes to get food on the table after I got home. The reason I gave 2 stars is that KFC is KFC and usually is consistent.

Whats with the attitude at this location and the long waits at the counter even when there’s no one else in line? Drive-thru customers get all the love from the looks of things. (Not based on one visit).
