Really wanted and tried to support this place but it’s just been too disappointing. I haven’t been wowed by any dish I’ve had and I’ve tried their burger their fries a few different bowls and salads and nothing has really made me want to come back. Their smoothies are quite good though. If I eat here it is one of those Southwest corn salads. Also their ability to order through their app is a huge plus and sometimes there are freebies associated.

The food is great. The staff is terrible. We spent 40 minutes in there eating our lunch. 30 of those minutes were spent listening to them«cut» fries. It sounded like someone was hitting a baseball bat against a metal sink. When we were leaving(now with a headache) my husband asked for the manager to let them know how good the food was, but how terrible it was to have to listen to that racket. She totally blew him off and said«but that’s our potato cutter». No apology for the noise, no courtesy of really listening to what he had to say. I understand that you need to cut potatoes in order to serve food. But how about doing service prep like every other restaurant in the world… when no customers are there. Don’t even get me started about placing my order and having to repeat myself 3 times because the guy at the register was too busy eyeing up and down the last customer…

The food is excellent here, AND good for you! The only issue is that the staff can’t get the orders correct, and they don’t seem very familiar with their own menu. My Wife ordered the Southwestern Chicken salad, and the girl asked her if she wanted a protein like tofu or chicken on that??? We both actually ordered the Southwestern Chicken salads(which were excellent), but after we finished we saw on the menu that they have avocado, but ours didn’t have any. This isn’t the first time they have missed adding an ingredient, and I’m sure it won’t be the last. So we love the food, but the staff seems very distracted.

Stopped in for a healthy lunch on a weekend. I think b good has a great business idea and I really want to support locally sourced ingredients, but b good seems like someone dreamed up a restaurant without realizing what it would be like in real life. Menu: decent mix of salads, burgers, sandwiches and grain bowls. Decided to try a grain bowl since you can’t get that just everywhere. A normal sized bowl of quinoa, kale, avocado, bacon, Apple, Pom seeds, and dressing with grilled chicken cost me FOURTEENDOLLARS. I almost laughed in the cashier’s face when she told me the price. I thought, this is either going to be amazing, or it’s going to be huge so I can have it for lunch and dinner. Spoiler: it was neither. Don’t get me wrong: it was good, but nothing about that salad couldn’t be replicated at home. And, the chicken was cold. Which is weird, because half the kitchen is made up of grill space. I totally understand prepping your food ahead of time, but why not toss it on the grill for a minute to heat up? That’s what I mean: it seems like the way humans actually eat and pay for food was not considered when trying to develop a business model of «fast healthy and casual». The price tag was about $ 4 – 5 too high for me to try it again. Best of luck, though– I think the idea could really stick with some tweaks.

B. Good is one of my favorite places in town to grab a quick bite to eat. I love their concept of sourcing as many ingredients as possible locally and the creative burger options make for a fun food adventure every time. I haven’t had a bad meal here and their frequent guest app/program is very enticing and they are constantly giving away freebies which is a nice touch.

I want this place to be good and I’ve come a few times but the burgers are always dry and the last 2 times I’ve come the fries were soggy and probably uncooked.

Business plan is great. They claim they choose to source their produce and meat locally and support farms that are sustainable and even care about the animal welfare. I love knowing I am eating clean and happy food. What I did not *love* were the two burgers I tried. Cousin Oliver seemed like their classic and was at the top on the menu. I wanted to try a special burger so I ordered classic Cousin Oliver and fancy Adopted Luke. 10 minutes later I’m out the door with two burgers in hand! Woohoo! Unexpectedly, the Cousin Oliver did not come with ketchup or mustard or any sauce for that matter. I was out the door and long gone before I could get some so I ate my burger SAUCEFREE! Eek. I also ordered my burgers medium rare and they both were medium-well. I would have been happy with medium. :\ As disheartened as I was, I dove in! Wow do those whole wheat buns have a lot of flavor! No, not the beef, not the fresh pickles, but the buns hold most of the flavor in classic Cousin Oliver. The pickles were crunchy and fresh but way too big to really bite comfortably. Also, my additional cheddar cheese was not melted. :(Overall Cousin Oliver experience was a feel of dissatisfaction. I’d skip this classic. The Adopted Luke looked REALLY promising with the juices of the mushrooms and the BBQ sauce all over the wax paper. My eyes lit up because messy burgers tend to be the most flavorful! Wowww that whole wheat flavor again. The caramelized onions were sweet but so was the BBQ sauce. Boo B. Good. Don’t double up your flavors or you miss out on that BIG flavor like this burger demands! The mushrooms didn’t give much flavor either because the wheat bun is so powerful. and I would think the smoked Gouda would kick in at some point but I just don’t think they put it on. I couldn’t find it or taste it within the messy brown goo all over the bun. Overall Adopted Luke experience is just shameful to my BBQ cheeseburger counterparts I’ve had in the past. Extra star for your business ethics! Good Luck B. Good.

Yikes!!! Came to CT for business and decided to try something different for lunch… Worst mistake I could have made. I ordered a chicken Cesar salad it took 35 mins! 35 mins for a over the counter salad?!? Are you kidding me?!? Sooooo I said to myself well this better be the best salad of my life since I spent my entire lunch break standing waiting. Nope. Awful. I could have had better out of a bag from stop and shop. So disappointed I will never step foot in one of these again. Zero stars!

Organic /all-natural /free-range juices, teas, lemonade, burgers, chicken, turkey. Gluten free option. Taste is excellent. Not sure what low scores cause 3.5 stars. 5 of us went and left happy. One person didn’t like her strawberry banana smoothy(coz full of food or doesn’t like banana flavor) but I liked it.

Wish there were more places like b. good! I enjoy the veggie burger, my husband likes the beef. very tasty, love topping choices! Today I Choose the seasonal Roasted butternut squash and apple salad with pomegranate seeds, sliced almonds, shedding cheese… I subbed kale for spinach. It was exactly what I expected. Only a few fresh, local items are organic… for the prices you’d think they all were. Still b. good is not your ordinary fast food type of menu. The Beet Ginger lemonade has minced bits in drink… love that!

The overall texture of the veggie burger was nice but it was so overwhelmed with chipotle purée. It was way too spicy to really enjoy. Very disappointing.

Welcome was warm and attentive. Not cheap. Salad, chicken sandwich, drink and fries, veggie fries= $ 28.00. Took a long time to make the food so don’t think it’s fast food. The food was okay. Veggies were boring, sweet potato fries burnt and salad was fine. We won’t be back for the money though. Chipotle next door is better bet!

I have come here two times and had solid experiences. I could seriously eat the Farmstand Tomato-Basil power grain bowl every day, with its fresh tomatoes, halloumi cheese, and basil vinaigrette. The Power Bowl was also good, though I think the dressing was not as good as in the Farmstand. The people who work here a very nice. Sometimes it takes longer to get your food than makes sense, but you can watch them make your food right there. I wish the sweet potato fries were a little crispier, though they are seasoned nicely. The beet and ginger lemonade was a little underwhelming. The cherry and peach seasonal smoothie was good, though the cherry and coconut milk over powered the peach flavor. I’ll definitely try one of their interesting-sounding burgers or sandwiches next time.

Great spot for a quick and healthier lunch. Salad was a great size. I got the harvest kale salad which was a great size and very good with Brussels and beets. My husband got a burger which was good, but they were small portions. Also had the seasonal grilled corn on the cob with queso, lime, cilantro and it was delicious.

I do love the food here… But, the portions are always inconsistent which is frustrating. Especially when you are paying $ 7.99 for a salad that has no meat on it. We love the new Watermelon & Feta salad but each time I have gotten it the portion has been different and tonight my hubby got the same thing and his salad had twice as much watermelon & feta then mine did??? These inconsistencies is what makes me not want to come here… ugh. There is a picture on here of the salads to prove my frustration… am I asking for too much???

Update: I decided to go back for a smoothie. I watched the girl make a strawberry milkshake and something happened where she over filled it. She used a rag to wipe the lid(maybe it was reserved just for wiping lids…), but she then opened the lid and«skimmed» a bit of the milkshake out«by hand». Well, it was a gloved finger, but I didn’t like how that looked. using a spoon or pouring some out would have worked. How do I know you didn’t wipe up a counter with bleach with that glove? I didn’t say she did… I just wonder. She seemed rushed, as they had 40ish minutes before closing. I watched her make my smoothie and it was fine, but I’ll stick to the lemonade. Sorry, B. Good – still love you, but had to take y’all down a star for that(from 4 to 3 stars).

While I love the concept of a more natural fast food, I have been very underwhelmed by the implementation. The burgers are often dry and unflavorful. The«made as» selections are all delicious and help to make up for the dry beef, but if you want anything custom, be prepared to pay extra. Burgers alone start at $ 7 and change, with another 3 for fries. This seems reasonable, but with a Chipotle next door(who also promotes wholesome sourcing) and a 5 Guys up the road(who offer a better burger) and both about the same price, I would rather take my stomach elsewhere. Especially as the portions here a much smaller comparatively.

Not sure how healthy a burger and fries can be but this place promotes itself as a healthy alternative to fast food. B good looks like granola munching hippies ransacked and took over a McDonalds. Their menu is really simple. They basically serve three things: burgers(& fries), salads, and smoothies. So yea, I suppose the last two items can be considered healthy. My green chile burger was fine. Although maybe it should really be called a green pepper burger, because usually I associate the word chile with heat(spiciness) and this burger was pretty cool(not spicy). But it had decent flavor and I can’t complain that a burger, fries, and drink cost me roughly $ 11. The burger patty wasn’t overly big like a pub style burger and it appeared to be the same size as a regular Fifty Guys patty. I mean Five Guys. What’s up with the Maine Root soda fountain drinks? I’m all for sticking it to the big guys like Coke and Pepsi but the stuff is HQ’d in Austin, Texas. WTF? Not Maine. The outdoor patio in front of B Good seems like a nice place to sit down in the warmer months.

Healthy fast food is hard to find and this place fills that void! All the vegetables are locally grown too! I had the veggie burger and you could tell it was made in house and not a frozen party. Plus I like that you could sub veggies for the fries. Also I was able to get it on a whole wheat bun. Another nice feature is the soda fountain is all locally brewed soda. I will definitely be back! I want to try the quinoa bowls.
