My first visit last week was for a meeting of my team members on a Monday night at 6:30PM. Not typically a busy restaurant night in town and unfortunately the service wasn’t the best during our meeting with shorted cocktails, appetizers that were missing things we’d ordered and two orders of the same dish coming out at different times. We were told there was a «large party» inside apparently and that’s why patio service was short. We were a party of six so I was confused as to why we weren’t considered a large party either but that’s neither here nor there. I had been to Maggie’s before and the menu can be a tad overwhelming with about 10 pages of cocktails/drinks followed by about 10 pages of food. If you’re not a drinker skip right past the beginning of the menu or you could wind up lost and frustrated among the cocktails. The fried mozzarella was fresh and hot when it arrived on the table and in the end everyone’s beliies were full and we seemed satiated. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ My second visit of the week was on Saturday night for a late dinner. I met some friends and had dinner on the patio yet again(it was too nice of a night). Our waitress was attentive and friendly and brought me out a glass of wine while I waited for my friends. She came to check on our table within minutes of everyone arriving and we ordered an appetizer which came out promptly. A few minutes of perusing the menu as my friends hadn’t been there before resulted in our orders being placed and the food coming out at a standard rate of about 20 minutes. We had time to finish the appetizer and chit chat which was nice. Everything was done properly including a special order item we had because of allergies so my mood towards Maggie’s has changed. I don’t know that I’ll go back anytime soon but I won’t shy away if someone invites me out.

We came here after receiving poor service at a previous restaurant in Glastonbury. The food was delicious and the service was great! My boyfriend ordered the broiled maine lobster stuffed with crab meat and I got the lobster mac and cheese which quickly became my favorite dish. Our server was super kind and helpful. I wish I remembered her name so she can get the credit. The only description I have is that she was 7 months pregnant and even then she still managed to quickly assist us and make sure we had everything. We left a $ 20 tip for her because we were super grateful for her excellent customer service.

While requesting to book a table of 8 for my son’s graduation for next week, the manager tells me that they don’t book reservations due to people not showing up. Seriously? I have owned and operated restaurants and for an owner not to accommodate a group because they have no shows is outrageous! Take a credit card guarantee, this shows a commitment! You obviously don’t need the business and will never step foot into your place again.

Who offers hollandaise sauce with crab meat hash eggs any style but says, «we don’t have poached eggs.» If it is farm fresh how do you not have poached eggs? I’m sorry, do you not have a pot and boiling water? This place is low on my list and I’m questioning how«farm fresh» it really is, if they can’t poach a few eggs to go with a signature hollandaise sauce breakfast. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. They offer a separate fryer to be more allergy friendly. However our waitstaff did not understand allergies, «you are allowed to have whip cream? I didn’t know if you were allergic to gluten free or something?» Their espresso machine was broken and the coffee was not good. Overall, I don’t think they are a good option for breakfast. Stick to the bar and watching sporting events here, not breakfast. In my opinion Ray H.‘s comment sums up the atmosphere, attitude and personality of the restaurant.

Oh how this pains me. First, the Thai chicken salad was one of the best salads I’ve ever had. Easily five stars. Freshest of lettuce, salty/sweet peanut dressing, a little heat with the peppers cooled nicely with cucumbers(peeled nice touch). The toasted coconut topping really kicked this up another level. Sadly, the uncleanliness of my experience put a damper on things. While picking up my napkin encompassing the silverware, my hand touched a disgusting sticky bread plate. It obviously had not been washed. Also, the booth was dirty with crumbs. FYI we were the first table seated here today as we arrived at 11:30. As an aside the salt shaker was empty. I hope they can get their housekeeping together because the food was delicious. I just kept thinking, what did my salad plate look like before topped with salad.

Had a great time with my friends. I sat outside which was very nice with comfortable chairs and a fire pit. I have also been in the bar area. We came for happy hour. Drinks were $ 1 off and they had small plates for sharing for $ 3,99. The menu is immense and a little overwhelming but everything I have had has been good. The service had usually been good but they do not seem to like you to linger. We were sitting at a bar table, had appetizers and were drinking. However it seemed since we were not ordering more food they server seemed anxious to provide us out bill.

Overpriced, their happy hour is cutting $ 1 off martini’s, and my whole dinner party has gotten sick from going here before. I called the next day to let them know that our party of 4 had been up sick all night, and the response I received was well did you go to the doctor? I’d suggest going down the road to J. Gilbert’s instead. The only thing I liked here was Barbie’s dream house martini, which you can make at home yourself. Very disappointed.

I’ve been here twice and the food is delicious. I ordered a salmon meal on my first visit and crab cakes on my second visit. On my most recent visit, our server didn’t ask my dad how he wanted his burger done so he had to go and find her. Also, the server had to be reminded of our waters request. She didn’t write anything down. We wondered if that’s a rule or if she thought she could remember everything.

I have been to the Manchester one twice before. I was glad they had free valet, parking was difficult. We, 4 adults, 2 kids, got there at 7PM on Friday night. We were seated immediately! I thought there would be a long wait. We were greeted immediately and place drink orders with an order of the Tex Mex egg rolls and quesadilla. The food came out hot and quickly. It seemed just as we finished the appetizers the food came out. I ordered the fish and chips with sweet potato fries. The fries were incredible and how can you do fried fish wrong. My brother had the farm fresh burger and it is so nice to see the farm to table options. Thank you Ray H!

Oh my, yummo!!! We totally scored by coming here for dinner last night when visiting the area from rochester, ny. We stayed at the hotel across the street, and though we had many options to choose from, this one stood out. When arriving we were instantly greeted and sat with fresh warm breadsticks! The menu is HUGE! wide variety with something for everyone. I had the hardest time choosing between a burger, burrito and pasta dish. After talking it through with our server I chose the burger. Which was fantastic. A Baja burger with Pico de gallo, avocado, garlic, pesto and aioli with delicious fries and incredibly tasty rsnch dressing on the side. With that, I ordered the blueberry tini which was very good and a fun electric blue ice cube. Manny got the southern fried chicken entrée with red sangria. Both were fab. The service was wonderful! pleasant, knowledgable staff. Place was clean and inviting. I have not one bad thing to say.

I stopped by for lunch today. Not a big fan. I ordered the crab cakes. It did not have a lot of actual crab meat in it. The shepard’s pie was burnt too. The atmosphere is good. It does take a while for the food to come out. The service is slow.

Friendly atmosphere. We’re greeted and seated right away. Friendly staff. Great drink and food selection for all types of appetites. We tried numerous apps and especially loved the Brussel sprouts with bacon, the fried mac n cheese. Overall great dining experience. Will definitely go back.

Fantastic food, drinks, atmosphere, and serivice! The Maggie’s Appetizers Favorites is spectacular and the beer sampler is great. I suggest the Filet Trio and The Garbage Burger.

I’m a fan of Maggie McFlys but I’m still waiting to try something that«wows» me. I would rate this place as having mediocre food, but very good drinks. Which would average out to a 3.5 in my book. I love the atmosphere inside. Exposed pipes and glass light finishes, white ceramic brick — a soft industrial feel. The breadsticks served to each table are tasty. A dinnermate of mine commented that they were better than Olive Gardens breadsticks(say what you want about OG but the breadsticks are bangin). I ordered a cucumber martini and it was perfect. Garnished with fresh cucumber & mint, strong but not overpowering & a slightly sweet taste — I ordered 3 of them. Here’s where the appetizers and entrees come in. We ordered wings, and although I didn’t taste them, they looked completely unappetizing. They appeared dry and rubbery, and my friend confirmed that yes, that’s indeed exactly how they tasted. Entrees were just underwhelming. I ordered the Thai Chicken Salad, categorized as a «giant salad» — and the chefs must have missed the memo on it being«giant». It was average sized. It was tasty. Loved the sweet peanut dressing with a spicy bite of an asian pepper(can’t remember the name), but I wasn’t blown away. I really like it here in the summer. They open up the patio and have a fire pit-like contraption. I’ll continue to come here for their craft drinks and select appetizers. They also get an extra star for their local, organic, and vegan selections.

I have been to Marty McFly’s a couple of times now and enjoy myself each time I am there. The first and most impressive part of the McFly journey is size of the menu and options you have. There is a large kick of simple, small menus in other«trendy» restaurants, and I just don’t like that. I love large menus offering meals on meals on meals on meals, because that way there is always something new to try when you go back, and it gives you a reason to return as well. Hello McFly’s has quite the sizeable seating area, and a massive bar that wraps around a centerpiece of liquor and drink. They also offer quite the drink list so if you have just had it with the normal boring selection, this menu offers you the opportunity to adventure in to unknown drink territory where you never know what you’ll find, or when you’ll leave. The one issue so far is that It is not fun to go to on a busy night, the parking is horrendous unless you want them to park your Delorean for you with a valet service but I know I don’t like valet personally and I don’t even try to go there on a Friday or Saturday night at all. So if you want to try Maggie’s I would suggest going on a night early in the week to try it out, unless you like the busy hustle and bustle then just go back and unread everything you JUST read. Anyway, I’ll certainly be back… in the future!

3 Stars equals A-OK. I liked this place. The menu is Cheesecake-Factory-Huge but I find that to be a good thing. Our waitress on this quiet Saturday(before noon) was very pleasant. My wife ordered the fried chicken sandwich and I had the Cuban. The ham on the cuban was pretty fatty and I’m weird about fat but other than that the pork, cheese and bread were very tasty. The wife’s sandwich was fantastic for the two bites she gave me. I liked that they had beer flights so I had one with 4 IPAs and they were delightful. A note to management… the open vibe of the ductwork is really neat but those vents are in need of a MAJOR dusting. I found myself distracted by dust clinging to the duct above our table.

Had lunch here yesterday and it was pretty good. They have a nicely size lunch menu with smaller portions of dinner items. They also have the option of a sandwich and side for 10.99, soup and sand for $ 11.99 or just a sandwich for 8.99. My mom got the tuna melt and said it was great. I got the pulled pork sandwich, and while it could’ve used more sauce, it was good as well. The pretzel bun was a nice touch. I got it with a side of sweet potato fries that were crispy and hot. I’ve also been here 2 or 3 times for drinks and apps during happy hour. It’s a pretty good deal as they have lots of appetizers for 3.99 and the portions aren’t that small.

I will say I loved the place, the menu, the choices, the valet it was all great I had high hopes for this place. I will say… The food was delicious! I could have ordered everything on the menu. However we were here after a long day of work and the service was the slowesssstttttttt I have ever had! Like not normal how bad the service was. I was sleeping at the table and we hadn’t even gotten a drink yet. I will be back to give them another chance the food was THAT good!

With a massive menu, good food, and within walking distance of at least two hotels in Glastonbury, Maggie McFly’s will satisfy any picky eater. So like most of these reviews, I was staying across the street at one of the two hotels and had driven by Maggie McFly’s. I was pleasantly surprised to find it a very good bar and restaurant. The inside is very spacious with a sort of upscale-yet-still-a-sports-bar atmosphere. Even with our group of eight, we had no problem finding a seat at dinner during the week. The menu is absolutely massive — if you have picky eaters or just love variety, this is certainly the place for you. After reading the thousand page menu, I decided on the Spicy Latino Hangar steak($ 19.99) with crumbled bleu cheese on top, covered with sweet/hot peppers, tomatoes, scallions, and white rice on the side. The steak was unique and very tasty — charbroiled to perfection. I recommend spending the extra cash for the bleu cheese to counteract the spicy toppings. The rice was also well cooked, but unremarkable, almost as if it was an afterthought. Overall, It was an excellent meal, and the fact it has a full bar/restaurant so close to hotels makes it a must visit. But even if you’re a local or staying a little further away, Maggie McFly’s is worth a look.

Maggie McFly’s is a nice stop for professionals looking for a casual place to drink that borders on upscale, but doesn’t get lost in that pricey world. They have a very large beer selection, a large selection of wines, and they also boast a whole lot of martinis which they spice up with flashing light-up ice cubes. They look cool, and are pretty fun to play with, as you can change the color to anything you’d like. The Bar also offers late snacks, for 3.99, ranging from things like calimari, to onion rings, to nachos, and so on. I didn’t order from this, so I’m not positive about the serving size. The other patrons were mostly like in their early 30s, the bartender was very friendly and attentive, and the order came up very quickly. The interior was very nicely decorated, and outside they had a fire blazing, which added to the ambience. This is a great little stop in Glastonbury, right near the highway, and well worth a visit.
