Always a decent experience and quick service. As far as ice cream goes it is quite delicious and I’d believe for what you get the prices are fair.

Carvel ice cream is always really good. This location loses a star in my book because the owner seems like he’d rather be anywhere but there… never… NEVER even cracks a smile, or makes an attempt to create a happy vibe in his shop. Buy an ice cream & eat it outside on one of the benches.

I could not agree with Kevin P. more! I have been to other Carvels and have the experience to say that the owner/server portions the ice cream as if they are using a measuring cup. Not only did he not give me a full scoop for a junior cup, he proceeded to flatten it out to make sure it was not over the top of the cup. Now, if he was expecting more customers, sure, fine… but it was 9pm, they close at 10pm, 40 degrees out in March… yeah worried about a shortage of ice cream my @$$. Avoid this location at all cost unless you are looking for disappointment. p. s. I rated pricey in accordance with how much ice cream you get for your serving, I got a junior with jimmies that cost 3.25 and he gave me barely a scoop of ice cream with one spoon of jimmies, LAME&CHEAP.

This place is not worth the cost to walk to it. The owner is rude. As for the portions, well small is too generous. They fill the cup below the rim and say that’s it. Carvel is good ice cream but these owners care about money and that is it. Go anywhere but here.

sup cookiepuss? 4 stars, if you never been, now is your chance, if you cant go today, go tomorrow, go whenever, they aint leaving, unless the rent gets too high, and even then carvel is all over ct and the area. i got mer a milkshake with crunchies in it, yup those ones you find in the middle acting as the mason dixon line of your ice cream cake. think about that one. did carvel crunchies cause south carolina’s succession from the union? i dont know about that, but carvel did help my belt notch segregate from the other ones. a bit pricey i guess, 4 bucks or so for a small bonnet, 4.50 or so for a shake. worth it though if your going to go there(ice cream, not just to carvel) although gq’s recommendation to get a cup instead of a cone for everflowing chocolate goodness was drastically embellished, that just doesnt work, i know, why do i need to read gq, i should be writting for them.
