Food was very delicious, service was great. The server paid attention to our drinks kept our glasses full. Plenty varieties of beer and other drinks. I would come back here. The atmosphere was laid back, many big screens showing a variety of sports. You have the options of eating outside. Short Pump is a really nice area to visit.

I stopped for food after the Big Field Day Festival. I shared the Garden Vegetable Mac-N-Cheese for $ 13 with my friend. The cheese(which looked like generic«Mexican» Style Cheese) wasn’t fully melted. The cheese sauce mixture was very bland, thin, and somewhat chalky. The spinach/mushrooms/tomatoes were very sparse. It was more bland noodles than anything else. Overall, I was very disappointed with a dish that should be very easy to deliver on… especially for $ 13. The only redeeming feature was the beer…

It is 1:30 pm and my wife and I went to eat here. After being seated we are told by the hostess that they are all out of Brunch items which supposedly goes to 3:00 pm. Then the waitress comes to take our drink orders and when she returns we are told that they are all out of 8 different main items, french fries, and ranch dressing. How does a restaurant miss manage so bad as to run out of a large portion of their menu items befor 1:30 pm? The only reason we stayed and ate there was because we were starving. We have eaten here before and it was good but this is completely unsatisfactory! It is highly doubtful that we will come here again.

Amazing beer selection. Service is really good, food is really good, and you can order beer to go if you want to take it home/your hotel. A little pricey, but all in all a nice restaurant with beer!

HAPPYHOUR&MONDAY $ 2BURGERREVIEW We came to the Capital Ale House Innsbrook location for $ 2 burger night last night. Having been to the Harrisonburg, Midlothian, and Downtown locations, we decided to give Innsbrook a try. Check in on Unilocal, and get a free pretzel! I love their giant pretzels, so I was excited to see this. We got there during happy hour, so my sangria was $ 4, and the boyfriend’s tall Vienna Lager was around $ 5. We each got cheese burgers, so $ 2.50 each for seriously HUGE burgers. Add an order of fries for $ 3, and we had: an appetizer, two drinks, two burgers, and fries for around $ 20 pre-tip. I love a bargain, and this was awesome! The service was really awesome. Our waitress still treated us like high paying customers even though we were barely spending any money. The manager even came by to check and see if we were enjoying our meals which I always love. If I had one complaint, it would be that the burgers could only be served well done. I personally prefer a medium to medium rare burger, so it wasn’t as juicy and flavorful as I would have preferred. That being said, the burger was HUGE, and I could only eat half. Over all, it was a good experience, and I will definitely return to take advantage of the Happy Hour and burger specials.

The beer is good but my dart game was off from all the booze. I’m giving four stars because i lost and it wasn’t fair because i think my friend cheated. No way he got green 3 times. No way

many beers on the menu are out, but waitress is not aware of this and so you order they walk all the way back to bar and 10 mins later comes back and says they are out. This happened to me 4 times in a row. The prices are higher than Mekong or the Answer Brewery. the food is ok, but also over priced. Dress code is enforced no tank tops for men only women. I feel this a good spot for the out of towners that stay in the surrounding hotels but for locals there are many better choices.

Tonight I experienced excellent service and food. I don’t drink but guest were well pleased with their drinks. Perfect for a quiet date night on the patio or family gathering.

Unreal choices of beer here. Dozens on tap and probably hundreds in bottles. Even had my beloved Wiehenstephaner available in a bottle. Only had 5 of the Mexicali wings but wow those were worth coming here by themselves. The menu looked really good with lots of things worth trying. But sat only at the bar and had great service. Will try to go here again next time I’m in this area.

OMG!!! The food was simple incredible. They have a awesome location and plenty of space. Very lively even at midnight on a Sunday. The food came out quick and the manager himself served us along with the waiter.

Really good food and lots of good German and Polish favorites. Hard to choose what to get when I love eastern European dishes. The table next to me got the big Bavarian pretzel and it looked so good, should have gotten it. Got the schnitzel sandwich on a pretzel bun with spicy mustard and havarti cheese, was perfectly done.

Like other capital ale house locations a great selection of beer. I do wish, I always say this, that of the 100 or so beers on tap they would have one light macrobrew. 2 large bars and a lot of seating — including outdoors. They even have a game room with pool table I didn’t notice before. I didn’t get the food this time but I’m sure it is the same as the Midlothian location and the food has recently gotten pretty good. If looking for a good ale house with lots of different craft beers this is a good choice.

Eh this place was ok. The beer menu was pages and pages long so if you’re into that I guess it’s good. The food was just kinda so so. Nothing spectacular or really worth noting in either a good or bad way. Seems a little dated on the inside as far as the interior goes… maybe just needs an update?

I came here for dinner with my manager. We walked in and were seated quickly. It was Wednesday night and it was pretty full. The atmosphere and vibe was pretty nice. I ordered the tuna Greek salad and my manager had the gyro burger. Both our meals were pretty good. My salad had a decently prepared ahi tuna on top of the Greek salad. Overall it was pretty good. It’s a tweener for me — that is, I give it 3.5 stars.

Food pretty decent. Beer selection second to none. Tried the Hardywood Gingerbread Stout and I’m done with gingerbread cookies for this Christmas. Belgian Fries are interesting.

My colleagues and I went here after work expecting a light atmosphere where we could chat and eat. There was a great selection of beers at the bar. Actually the beer menu is overwhelming. Its larger than the food menu, and a little intimidating. But we could all chat and they sat us all at a table in the back. The waitress was very helpful navigating the beer menu and was happy to suggest some options. The food menu has little options if you don’t want cheese or white flour, so I ordered the steak medium rare with just vegetables(no au gratin potatoes). The vegetables(beets and broccoli) were good, but very buttery. The steak was medium well and not how I ordered it. Needless to say, I was not feeling so good the next morning.

We actually were going to check out Mamma Cucina’s, but they’re closed on Sundays. So, we tried Capital Ale House a couple doors down instead. Tons of local beer on tap as one would expect. Small booths. Friendly service. Kinda smells like a divey bar when you walk in. The décor is nice enough, though. The tables were pretty empty, but I’m guessing they do most of the business on Fri and Sat nights. I had the seafood mac-n-cheese. Small portion and not really tasty. My wife loved her Mexican salad subbed with black bean burger instead of chicken. Nice to see the kitchen can handle substitutions. Kids meals were ok. It’s an ale house, so I can’t fault it for food. I’ll be back to have a beer while watching a game. But, I’d skip the food.

I want to like this place more, but I think it’s just okay. The beer selection is phenomenal, but the food was nothing special. I had the black bean burger and it was kind of dry. There is a sauce that comes on the burger, but it was all in the middle. I will say that the fries were good. Overall, I would go back, but only for drinks at the bar and maybe some apps.

Came while in town to watch the NBA Finals and eat some grub. After a long day of travel, a nice cold beer sure hit the spot(and this place has PLENTY to choose from). Rated«A-OK» in my book– not the best but not the worst. PS– At the time I went, they participated in Southwest’s Dining Rewards program if you’re in to that sort of thing(I am, love earning points!)
