We came here for lunch and I got the herb-crusted tilapia with the tempura bean sprouts. The bean sprouts were good, I would get them again but they weren’t anything spectacular. I would recommend they make them more crispy. The tilapia was also good, it was a little on the salty side. I got two side orders of broccoli. My main complaint was that all of the dishes we ordered were very small. I went with a friend who got the broccoli as a side and it had probably 5 small pieces of broccoli. The flavors here are pretty good but I would not come if you’re very hungry. For the size of everything, it was a bit overpriced.

Would give 0 stars if that were a choice. Wilted, brown lettuce on the salad bar. The ham chunks on the salad bar have been replaced with what the staff referred to as «turkey stuff». Some sort of processed meat — seemed like diced hot dogs, or spam. The quesadilla was too salty to eat. The tortilla was coated in salt. I have never seen a salted quesadilla.? I had horrible stomach pain and an unpleasant bathroom trip later in the evening after getting home. Never again!

I think I have only eaten at Ruby Tuesday one other time a few years ago while on a pitstop driving from Virginia to Miami and I remember how good the salad bar was. Since then I have discovered better salad bars but you don’t find salad bars in other mainstream chain restaurants. While we had friendly and attentive service, my main turnoff was the menu itself. Two menus actually, very busy and distracting, i had a hard time deciding what to order, finally settling on an appetizer combo, as did another of us and one ordering ribs. Our waiter was very patient with us snd happily refilled our drinks before the food arrived snd after without our needing to ask. Speaking of drinks, If you don’t mind sitting at the bar, they have a great happy hour with $ 2 domestic beer and other drink specisls. While my dinner mates were at the salad bar I was looking the place up on Unilocal, there was a mention of free biscuits, and at that same moment our waiter came to offer some. They were oddly good, not what I would expect a biscuit to look or taste like, they were almost like small garlicky scones. The standout of the appetizer were the Thai spring rolls, served with a moderately spicey sauce. The cheese fries were also oddly good. The Mozzarella sticks reminded me of something from the grocer’s freezer. The ribs were said to be very good, but mediocre sides of mashed potatoes and onion rings. For something different our experience was okay, we liked the service, it was a little busy but not loud, the food was average, but we certainly didn’t leave hungry. Unfortunately there wasn’t anything that made me really want to return with intention, but I wouldn’t rule it out if I was shopping nearby and needed to grab a bite to eat. I want to add a nice touch, if you have leftovers they bring you a box in a bag with a little pack of utensils and napkin.

My husband and I had such a great dinner months ago, si upin making a decision where to eat lunch I realized that I was blocks away from Ruby Tuesday. I remembered hiw great rhe salad bar was, so I knew that was a winner. It was a matter of picking their dpicy fish tacos ir one id their hamburgers. I decided to go eith the bacon cheeseburger. The anticipation of enjoying my meal came to a halt quickly. The salad in both containers were very moist looking. Another customers even shared with me hiw it didn’t look right. Several of the sides to add to my salad were either emptied or close to being emptied. In the end I would say that was not the salad I had months ago. How disappointing! The hamburger was average. I didn’t know you had to request onion, and as I started eating it I realized the most important ingredient for a hamburger is the taste of the onion rings. My waitress finally came around and came back with some. There were enough fried for two oeople easily and generally I don’t feel this way. Overall, I was not pleased with my decision to eat here. Maybe their dinner hours are better than their lunch hours. The crackers tasted good. I saw no one removing the old lettuce leaves and I was very close to the salad bar as well as the length of time I was here should have been some changes unless the manager wanted to explain their policy about the customer’s opinion. I ordered water and it was not refilled or addressed as to whether I wanted more. It was not a busy service time, so I’m bothered by the lack of caring. Will I return? You decide based on what was given to you. Have a great meal wherever you decide to have lunch!

Just saddens my heart to have to write a poor review on Ruby Tuesdays, As a native New Yorker i really appreciate their Establishment. Unfortunately after our visit to the Glen Allen location my thoughts have changed. i’ll give a brief run down of my last experience in Ruby Tuesdays. We wanted to get a quick meal before we started our day running errands. We initially stopped by the Waffle House but the wait was a little too long for us to stick around. We decided to ride down Broad St. until we find somewhere suitable for us to grab a quick bite. We ran into Ruby Tuesdays. The parking lot was empty, We thought«Perfect» good time to come in and have a quick & quiet meal. We walk in @ 10mins to noon… we are greeted and seated quickly. unfortunately that was the quickest service they provided us. We ordered the Shrimp Fondue as an appetizer while we skimmed the menu for our Entrée. Because we were enjoying our casual conversation we did not realize how much time had lapsed until our server approached us and apologized for the long wait on our appetizers. At that moment the clock started for us. 25 mins after being seated we still had not received our appetizers. Because the environment was comfortable and quiet we did not even mind the wait on our appetizers. We figured the ball will get rolling shortly as there are very few people being served at what im certain would be considered an off peak hour for Ruby Tuesdays. At 12:30 our server returns with the Shrimp Fondue(40mins to receive our appetizers). He apologizes for the long wait and assures us that our appetizer will be on the house. This kind gesture was kindly received as we greatly appreciate good business. We happily enjoy the chips and Fondue. We finish off our chips so we asked our server for another serving of chips to dip into the fondue. While we wait for our chips it dawns on us that we had no sign of our entrée. It is now 12:45pm, 55 mins after we have been seated and no entrée. This is when me and my partner start considering the idea of leaving. Our server comes back ten mins later with only chips in his hands. i informed the server that we no longer wanted our meal. His response, which was the nail in the coffin…” Your entrée’s are ready but you asked for chips so i wanted to bring that out” hmmmm. Over an hour wait… you bring us a second serving of chips before our entrée. the reason we asked for a second serving of chips was because we were hungry waiting on our entrée. smh Just a huge waste of time.

Craving a salad bar today so Ruby Tuesdays got the nod. I was seated very quickly and I made a visual note that absolutely they have a very comfortable set up. They’ve probably had an upgrade recently because it just felt good. The music was the right mix and volume which I noticed right away. Sometimes that makes me stay longer. The salad bar was fresh and plentiful making me think I should crave them more often. Beverage refills were right on time. Good service(I sat at a table in the bar area) The Classic Burger was perfect. Very personable staff… Good work Ruby!

What a horrible Mothers Day!!! Our waiter had no personality and was rude. After the manager spoke to him he attitude to change then was pointing at us while talking to other co-workers. The food was good but I will NEVER go back to this location!

Depending on who is working depends on the experience. It seems that when manager James is on duty, they snap to it but when he is off, everyone is lax in their customer service. The food is average but the salad bar rocks! Hate those crummy biscuits they keep pawning off on us, what a waste of flour and electricity to heat those suckers up. But the wait staff are nice and helpful.

Lunch at rubys was off to a bad start. So we come in and the hostess says«hold on!» While she continues her conversation with fellow employee or somebody. Thank God for the bar tender who came to the rescue from behind the bar with an apology for the confusion and politely sat us down. I didn’t see there was confusion. The hostess was rude and uncaring & should be put out with a map to the unemployment office. The nice bar keep had the best of demeanor for customer service. The salad bar was awesome as usual.

Came in for a quick bite with one of my friends before a movie night on Monday. The place was pretty empty, only about 3 – 4 tables seated. Our server was very attentive and friendly. He checked in multiple times to see how we were doing and to see if we wanted refills. I really enjoy the salad bar here so I had the mini burgers combo with buffalo chicken minis. Their salad bar has a variety of options for greens, add ins and dressings so I can always make myself a healthy portion of salad to start my meal. The food here is typically good American style plates. I’ve never had any major problems. Definitely a good spot for a low key dinner.

Had a satisfactory lunch at ruby Tuesday, the shrimp fondue was delicious and the sirloin steak was cooked exactly the way I had wanted. Will come back again.

I used Ruby Tuesday to go, i just didnt feel like getting out the car… But when I got there, pulled into the spot and noticed a sign that said come in for pick up… ugh… So… I had to get out anyway… But it was hot and ready when I got inside. I ordered blackened tilapia with mango salsa, baked potato and grilled green beans on the side. My food was cooked to perfection. My taste buds were zinging with the fish… Yummy, yummy, yummy… I love blackened fish… And Rubys has a great dish!

Excellent salad bar. I like the upgrades they’ve made overall, turning their restaurants into a higher end place. Last 3 times here we requested the server named John, he’s EXCELLENT. On point and attentive. Nice dining experience here.

One of the worst Ruby Tuesdays in town. Slow service, kitchen and poor management! Food quality needs to revamped!

Much better experience than last time and they even left a pitcher. Food is just ok and the salad bar is not nearly as good as it used to be as there was a few less options. The cheese biscuts they give you are very small(for comparison, they are only a little bigger than the size of quarter).

Dinner was a big disappointment from a quality, presentation, and service perspective. The only redeeming factor was the salad bar — that got them 1 star. Now I remember why it was 2 years since I went there the last time. There are so many better choices in the immediate area to chose from — you will be glad you did.

Typical Ruby Tuesday. The manager is great and has excellent customer service. She’s friendly too. This is important because her attitude rubs off on the employees. As a result, our server and customer service was great. As for the food, we ordered tortilla chips with spinach/artichoke dip. The chips were so full of oil that they were limp and soggy with grease. I can’t believe that no one noticed this while putting the chips on the plate. We had to send them back. Then we received cold stale chips. Ugh. Our«mocktails» from the bar were good. They have a variety of fun, fruity non-alcoholic drinks to choose from.

Always a good bet for lunch — or brunch on Sunday. The sandwiches and burgers hit the spot, and minis are available if you want to try something a little smaller.

2.5 Stars… It was a tolerable experience. When you go to visit a chain restaurant, you have somewhat of an idea what you’re going to get. I arrived at my hotel late, and just wanted some food that wasn’t «fast food»…so this is where I decided to go. There was a couple celebrating their upcoming wedding at the bar…(at ruby tuesdays??) oh well, to each their own. I was expecting my visit to be a miserable experience after hearing a semi-drunk guy at the bar railing on about«darn lib’ruls»…but fortunately he got off the political topic shortly thereafter, and I was able to down a few brews while watching baseball. The drinks came in a timely fashion. Though smokey, the bar wasn’t a totally miserable place to be. The bartender(ian) kept up with my refills in a timely fashion, and was quite friendly. The food is as expected…(it is a chain restaurant). It wasn’t bad. If you’re in the area on business, and want some food without hitting mcdonalds, it might be worth your while…
