I’ve been going to Wingstop for ten years in different places across the country. The corporation has great sauces and more variety than pizza places. At most places, the chicken is delicious. But I have had it with this location. I have ordered online three times and every single time they mess up the order. Either the order has the wrong number of wings or they just completely forget about the order until I go to pick it up. The wings aren’t fantastic, but given the lack of options around here, I didn’t write them off quite yet. Until last night. My boyfriend offered to get wings and he was about to order online when I told him not to because they never get it right. He had a better chance ordering at the counter, and then going back after an order. He went and ordered 30 wings, 3 sauces. When he picked up the order they had made him 3 wings with one sauce, 3 with another, and 24 wings of the last sauce. Twenty-four. The cashier tried to tell him that’s what he ordered, when he obviously ordered 10 of each. They fixed it, but just like every other time they mess up, they made no offers to reimburse for the time wasted with them, such as free wings or anything. As he told me what happened, we opened up the boxes of wings, and we chalked it up to a clueless cashier. Half the wings were extremely dry. It was like biting into blocks of sawdust and it was disgusting. I’m not going back to them because, like in the past, they will try to tell me that’s what I ordered and shrug. I am never eating here again. I’ve had it.

So I have been back and forth with trying this place. Last night I finally decided to give it a go. Well I placed an order before I left from work. It said they would be ready by 6:16. Cool. So I left. Got there at exactly 6:16. Walked in and was greeted by the gentleman at the counter. I let him know that I placed an order online and he got my receipt, i signed and told me my wings would be a few more minutes. Probably waited another 5 or 10 minutes, but they let me know that they were just waiting on my fries and then it would be ready. While I waited for my carryout, I noticed its a rather small place. You can see well into the kitchen(which is kinda nice when it comes to looking at cleanliness of an establishment. The place was clean. I saw their sanitizer buckets and they even have a book similar to ones we use at my job for taking temperatures during the shift. Overall the place was very tidy and organized. I did get my food, and they young man read my order to me and off I went. I got home. We got the Korean Q and the Parmesan garlic wings. The Korean Q could stand to be a TAD bit spicier, but they were still good. The parmesan garlic wings could stand to be a little more saucy. Still good. The wings were meaty and worth the price, i believe. My only complaint is, I ordered cheese fries and the only thing I got was fries with seasoning on them. Not sure what happened there, but I won’t let it stop me from coming back.

This place has nice customer service and decent food. I’ve given this WingStop 3 stars because compared to every other WingStops I’ve been to this location has horrible lemon pepper wings!!! They might as well be bare. They taste like plain fried very bland wings not the zingy lemon pepper wings my family is used to from WingStop.

Wow! I’ll be honest, I did not have high expectations for his restaurant. Before I decided to eat here, I read the negative reviews. I was a little worried. However, I was craving wings and this happened to be he closest store. I’ll start with the service; it was also better than expected. The cashier was kind and helpful, as this was my first time trying Wing Stop. He offered me to sample the different sauce flavors available. The restaurant was very clean, as was the restroom! When I got my food, I was surprised at the size of the wings and they were hot. My fries were also hot! Usually, most fast food places, fries or entrée are hot, usually not both. Then, I tasted the wings… WOW. Crispy and flavorful! I had mango habanero, Louisiana rub and original hot. All three flavors, including the original hot were very tasty. Usually, at least for me, I find wing sauce quite salty(wings to go, Glen Burnie Wings, Buffalo Wild Wings-which I’d like to make known I absolutely despise that restaurant, but I’ll leave that to another review). Here, is just the right amount of flavor and spice, without tasting too salty! I have to say, I am very impressed with Wing Stop. I will definitely be returning. I have to say, this now made it to my personal top fast food restaurants.

Drove from Annapolis just for the wings… im a bit of a wing fanatic. Saturday night ordering wings to go, but she informs me the wait is 45 min… just for my simple small order of wings so I left. But the few times since then it’s been the normal 14 min wait. Returned with a date, chatted with the owner, and got old bay, Louisiana, and lemon pepper wings. Some wings were really small, but overall the flavored were great. Since then, I’ve been back a couple times. Great friendly people there, easy going atmosphere. There’s only like 10 tables and most of them are for 2 ppl. 15 wings + tax was $ 12.07 10 wings + tax at Buffalo Wild Wings is $ 12.50 So it’s cheaper than bdubs, far tastier as well imo Someone open an Annapolis franchise!

We lived in TX for 4 years so Wingstop was always our go-to place for wings. So we were really excited to find one here in MD. We have eaten here a few times now. The chicken has always been great. Now as far as service that’s another story. Went there tonight and ordered a combo pack… and found a hair in one of my boneless wings. Took it up to the counter and politely asked if they can redo the order because of the hair. The«Manager», Chris then asked me if I was sure it wasn’t my hair. Trust me if it was my hair I would’ve continued with my meal. But for him to rudely look at me and ask me if it was mine was all I needed to hear to ask for my money back. He continued by saying that only two people touched my food back there and they were both wearing hats. HATS not hair nets. All while Chris has a beard about 4 inches long hanging from his chin. All he needed to say was sure we’ll remake that for you. He didn’t need to question where the hair came from because if I was trying to scam you I would’ve eaten 9 of my 10 wings before bringing it up to you to redo. The customer service was horrible especially seeing that it was coming from the manager. I will be calling this weekend to speak with the owner. But tonight has definitely ruined any chances of me ever wanting to go back there.

Please excuse the length… but I have to give props where it is due! Big Ups to these guys for how they handled the Super Bowl this year. I ordered wings for last year’s SB, but like others, found myself waiting over an hour for my order. I didn’t mind the wait as you could clearly see they were working hard. I’ve had the same experience in year’s before at other wing joints. This year, I placed my order on Sunday morning expecting the same as last year but I was surprised when I was informed that the timeframe I chose(5:30) wasn’t available. The cashier told me that 5:45 was available for my 100 wing order. I asked her if she was sure and she said yes. Obviously she wasn’t going to tell me different at that point. I showed up at 5:40 expecting the place to be a mad house… instead, there may have been 10 customers in the lobby with a couple people waiting outside. I went inside, paid for my order and then waited. I noticed there were orders stacked up in the front. I asked one of the cashier’s why so many and she said those were orders that had yet to be picked up. Can’t say it was like that last year. When they called my name I was shocked as I had just sat down to drink a beer and watch the pregame. I looked at my watch and it was 5:42… there minutes early! :) Figuring something had to be wrong, I checked my order and it checked out. Totally impressed! Since I still had time, I gulped my beer down and headed home where the wings were totally on point… 25 hot, 25 old bay, 25 lemon pepper, and 25BBQ! I will be back… again!!! :-)

Always good service and good food for me. I would recommend that they find some way to cover the fries(foil would probably work) for takeout orders because fries can get soggy pretty quickly. Sometimes they don’t put enough sauce on the wings, so that’s a problem. Maybe if there were some way to purchase bottles of their wing sauce at the store it would make people’s experiences a bit better. Regardless, I haven’t had a bad experience yet with these folks and will continue to give them my business.

The wings were half cooked and had no sauce or seasoning on them. I had to drown them in soy sauce then nuke them for a few minutes. The fries were abnormally wet so I didn’t eat them.

Cross wingstop off of the to do list. When you’ve heard about something for a while and decide to go while hungry you expect to be overly positive about the experience. With wingstop the exact opposite occurred. While being promoted by one of today’s hottest rappers and having a friend make a point to go by on a trip to the south I decided to get some in the midst of my marketing. Look the staff was friendly, I ordered online and the food was ready promptly but the wings are all the same. I got lemon pepper and garlic parmesan and the only thing I tasted in the end was the large amount of powdered cheese dumped onto the wings. They were fried pretty good and had a nice crispness to them but the flavor was nonexistent. The lemon pepper wings gave the faintest hint of citrus while the pepper was barely visible and didn’t come through. The garlic parmesan wings had no garlic flavor at all. I also tried a mild wing and it was fine but nothing spectacular to say the least. When you’re starting and still disappointed it’s not a good sign and I cannot recommend this joint at all. Order from Buffalo Wild wings which is way better.

This is my favorite wing place! The food is always hot and ready when I come to pick it up. I usually call in a complicated order and there is never an issue on the phone or when I pick up my food. I am extremely confused with the prior ratings about the staff! The evening employees are extremely polite and always greet me with a smile. They are personable on the phone and kind when I pick up my food. I come here all the time and not once have I felt that they were too busy, unprofessional, or rude. I was SHOCKED when I read that! I also love that they are open until 12 every night. Highly recommend!

The food gets five stars from me. From the wings to the fries and rolls, they are all delicious and I would go there more frequently if I didn’t cringe with the thought of dealing with the unprofessional staff. I usually order in the evenings, so maybe the staff in the day time are different but when I have picked up food in the evening, I’ve experienced inattentive cashiers who are unprofessional — they would rather carry on a conversation with each other and horseplay rather than focus on the customer placing an order and what the customer needs. Many times the orders take longer than the«14 minutes» they always claim it will take. There are no trash cans in the dining area. When you order take out, the only items that are placed in the bag covered are the wings and dipping sauce. Everything else(fries, bread, etc.) are placed on top of each other, loose, so that by the time you arrive at your destination, all of the contents are spilled out in the bag, greasing up your carseat from fries leaking through the paper bag and they are always cold. Once I asked for aluminum foil to cover them so that they can stay hot and the guy said they didn’t have any, shrugged his shoulders and walked away. Heating up the fries in the microwave makes them soggy. Love this place, but major improvement needs to be made.

I spent enough time in Texas to know what Wingstop is all about, and this ain’t it! Seems to me this franchise is another example of over educated under experienced people thinking that it is easy to run a restaurant! To be clear I never met the owner, but you can tell. The staff is under motivated but polite, well mannered, but inept, and the wings I got had been frozen! And I ordered BONEIN wings that are supposed to be fresh! Maybe this was a trust fund franchise because I assure you that no real restaurant pro operates like this place! Someone call Gorden Ramsey QUICK!

I should have known to stick to the wing stop in Gaithursburg … When I walked in a young lady asked me could she help me. I told her I was there to pick up a carry out order … She said ok and them the phone rang … She told me to wait as she answered the phone and proceed to take another order as I stood in front of her. 3 minutes later finally someone else helped me … No kind of customer service training … I will not be returning to this store but I will continue to support wing stop …

I was excited to go to here for some wings last night as a last minute dinner but left unimpressed! We ordered a 15pc order of bone-in wings, ½ old bay and ½ garlic Parmesan. Could barely taste the old bay flavor on wings I thought would be larger. Garlic Parmesan were wings tossed in some kind of ‘sauce’(sure wasn’t garlic b/c I couldn’t taste any!) and with a bunch of actual powdered Parmesan cheese dumped on them. Not what I was expecting! I tasted more garlic in the blue cheese dressing(too much garlic, in fact) than I did on the garlic Parmesan wings. That’s sad. Our order came with fries, which were tasty and well done. We ordered a side of cheese sauce for the fries but it tasted like the lukewarm nacho cheese you find at a little league baseball game(or any baseball game for that matter). I felt as though I should have had a plate of stale nacho chips to dip in it rather than fries. Service was really great but I found it odd there were no trashcans for customers to use, leaving the folks who worked there to bus the tables in a place where they don’t even bring your food out to you. I would expect that from a sit-down restaurant where waiters physically come to your table to serve you but not at a Wing Stop. A trashcan or two would be beneficial. Overall, I’d go back to try another flavor of wing(regular buffalo perhaps) but it’s not my first choice of wing places. Update 10⁄2014 — got carry-out from here after deciding to give them a 2nd chance and I was more impressed this time! Stayed away from the garlic parm wings and went for Old Bay and regular buffalo. Better this time! Extra star added b/c of the better experience.

As a Florida resident I was a long time Wing Stop lover and patron. Imagine my delight to find this while driving around the neighborhood that I recently moved to!!! So far they have not disappointed and I hope this location does well. Lemon Pepper and Hickory BBQ are my absolute must haves.

I must be missing something. I am totally a wing lover, but these sort of let me down and I really wanted to like it because it’s close to my job and would be great for those days I want to order wings in. I ordered the hot and was expecting a little bite as atomic I figured would be inedible… if I give them another chance, I will ask to taste the atomic because the hot was totally a let down. They just didn’t do it for me. I may give them another chance in time once they have ironed all the kinks out in service(I waited longer than the 15 minutes that was stated, but I’m sure that’s more to getting into the swing of things) however if you really are into spice on your wings, definitely ask to taste the sauce.

Great experience-glad to see a Wing Stop nearby! The service is friendly and the wings are cooked to order so they’re not dried out under a light for hours. Carb lovers: the fries are amazing-hand cut(not greasy like the«Guys») and have a little sweetness to them. The wings were great, I had the 8 pc and took a few home. During football season, Wing Stop will be on the menu!(There’s an app so you can order online & they’ll be ready).

Thank god someone finally realized that if you want good wings put in a Wing Stop. If you have never eaten at a Wing Stop be warned. Once you eat one no others wings will be good enough for your taste buds. Thanks guys for opening up the best Wing store on earth.
