Disappointing. ordered wonton soup and I think there might of been one wonton and not very much meat. Came in on a nice sunny spring afternoon and I knew I was in trouble when the place had its door open to save on air conditioning. Never a good sign for any restaurant. Would pass on this place in the future, looked like the food has been aged on the steam table.

It’s one of those places you pass all the time and think to stop by but they always seem closed. I thought maybe they close early because the food is so great they just don’t need to stay open that late. So on one day I called out«sick» from work, I had the great idea to swing by and pick up a bunch of take out boxes and binge watch tv while stuffing my face with chinese food. I didn’t get too far from taking a bite out of the 6 different items we got and well there wasn’t much complexity in flavor other than soy sauce, oyster sauce and chili paste. Almost all the items are chicken just chopped up in different ways and with a different vegetable and pick one of the flavors I mentioned before. The white rice tasted under cooked. The noodles just a heavy flavor of soy sauce. It was almost like someone who didn’t quite know how to cook chinese food just toss a bunch of stuff together to make it look like something rather than following any kind of recipe. Not only that, I ended up feeling kind of sick after eating the food but I think I jinxed myself because I called out sick to have a free day. But save yourself some money and a tummy ache, check out Angel Thai or go to Café Bravo. Stick with what works. :)

Okay first of all, the rice was AWFUL! I had to throw it away cause it was just so old it was already turning yellow… I called you guys and kindly said it was time to throw it out and you just laughed and said«okay» … So Quit trying to fool people on how old your food is… I know most restaurants do it but you guys took it too far.

I highly recommend this place. I’ve been going here since I was a little girl and I moved in the area 15 years ago. The best place and close from home. Their food is so good! They made me love Chinese food forever!

My wife discovered this place a while ago, and hands down, this is the best Chinese fast food in town. Actually, I am writing this review while eating at the restaurant. Try the Mongolian chicken, the orange chicken, and the wonton soup. The food is great, and the place is clean. The portions are huge and the price is totally fair. Great experience that beats higher end Chinese restaurants in Burbank.

I really like this place. It’s similar to Panda Express but with a more homemade authentic taste. Good prices and good portions, it’s easy and fast. You can sit down or just grab and run.

Glendale’s fresh, delicious, little secret! Huge portions, great prices. Only downside is they charge for drink refills. Seriously? Oh well, great place!

I used to be a fan of this place, but no longer. It seems like things have changed since a few years ago. Their chow mein and fried rice are not as tasty. Perhaps there was a change in ownership? The last 2 times(over the course of a few months) my friend brought me orange chicken, there were these weird hair type fibers all throughout. It’s not human hair, it looks like it might be from a brush used to clean their pots or. I have no idea. It’s just not edible, but its filled with it. Trulyyyy gross. I promised myself I’d never eat their food again, and least not for a long time. Worst part, my friend ate there yesterday and got a rough case of food poisoning. He had cookies for breakfast, and this for lunch, so he knows it’s this. His stomach felt funny, but he headed to the gym anyway, and gave the people there a lovely show. Ew. Anywho, he also promised himself he’s never going there again. This place was great, but in my opinion, those days are gone, and I doubt they’ll return. Hopefully the owners change things around a little(a lot).

For a very fast Chinese takeout option this is my go to. The tables fill up fast at lunch and they’re only about seven or eight so I usually take out. I like that the veggies always look fresh and the tofu is still very moist and not shrinking. That is a good sign that the food hasn’t been sitting in the warmers for hours and hours on end. I also like that there is usually a line the fact that it stays busy means also that the food is fresh. There’s always a smiling face at the cash register and the employees are adept at moving people through the line quickly. I like the Chinese horoscope placemats, chopsticks, and fortune cookie. I recommend the beef with broccoli mushroom chicken and any other item that has lots ofveggies. They don’t use MSG which I also like. Add in the fact that it’s walking distance from my office and not seals the deal.

I came for for a late lunch, around 2pm. It said«Best chinese food in town» so I figured it has to be better than Panda express. Got the 2 item combo for $ 7. Got all Chow mein, which was ok. Had a bit of a sour taste to it… ughhh I got the Brocolli Beef and BBQ Pork. Half of my Brocolli was dark(due to sitting out there for a while). The BBQ Pork was nothing to sing home about because each piece had lots of fat and bones, not much meat. I finished about 40% of my food and had to abandon it to the trash. 70% of all the dishes were very dry looking, maybe because it was 2pm. Regardless, customers still are paying the same price whether its 2pm or 12pm.

I read the reviews and decided to give this place a try. The employee who waited on me was very nice and friendly. I brought the food home, ate half of it for dinner, and was horribly sick for the entire next week. Food poisoning or a food-borne virus, I don’t know which, but it hit me so hard, I couldn’t be away from the bathroom and missed most of the holiday festivities. Such a painful drag! Yes, I know we take a chance every time we eat in any restaurant. But I will not be returning to Chinese Fast Food, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else. It isn’t worth the risk. If I could give it minus stars, I would.

I have been so curious to try Chinese Fast Food as I pass it every day on my way home from work. It’s on that strangely developed strip of San Fernando that the city really needs to do something about pronto but that’s a whole other letter to the city… anyhow. I came in with my two kids to get some takeout and was more impressed with the inside of the place than I thought I would be judging from the outside, but with a 4 star rating from Unilocalers, I trusted that my experience couldn’t be too horrible. Service is a tad slow, though I think the woman in front of me is a regular cause she was catching up with the woman who was taking the orders as though they’d been friends for 100 years. I like when there’s that sense of community and my kids were having fun exploring so no complaint here. Once it was my turn, I ordered a 3 entrée meal and the portions were huge. In fact, that one order was enough to feed my entire family(though disclaimer: I have a 4 year old and 2 year old and the wife and I don’t require a ton of food either) still, the portions are much bigger than what I’d get at Panda, and this only cost me $ 11.42, and I think I got an extra side of chow mein with it. The owner loved my kids and gave us extra fortune cookies. It was the first one my 2 year old ever had. Her fortune: Adversity is the first path to truth. Deep thoughts for a 2 year old. We got home and unpacked the food. I took a couple orders of orange chicken, and order of teriyaki chicken, rice, and chow mein. Orange chicken is great, probably won’t go with the teriyaki chicken again, it wasn’t what I hoped it would be. Chow mein and rice were both good. It’s pretty greasy, and certainly fast food, but it was comforting on a chillier evening and certainly an easy place to get to when craving this type of Chinese food!

2 Hispanic female women were very professional and helpful. My grandparents invited us to eat here and I was already in a cranky mood b/c of how Hot it was outside. Bounce this place has GREATACE! I believe one of the female women’s name is, «Caro». She had a lot of patience even though I gave her a lot of attitude. My grandparents were giving her a hard time — instead of making things better I took it out on «Caro». I apologize for that. Thank you! We spend 23 $ on A Thai Tea, 2 comb to go plates, a Gatorade, water bottle and 2 veggie rolls. Parking is limited 4 group tables of 4 2 tables for two people No outside tables Accept Credit/debit cards

Sorry, I just didnt enjoy my meal. I had the orange and teriyaki chicken with white rice. The teriyaki had the shin on it and tasted too much of soy sauce, The orange chicken was kind of bland. The portions were nice sized and reasonably priced, the place appeared to be clean and the service was polite and friendly. The food just wasnt to my taste

**************(((((HAPPYCHINESENEWYEAR2014))))) ************** Once in a while you’ve got to set aside those Tacos and get your Veggies on! and that’s what places like this are good for, Authentic Chinese food I think not, it’s your typical Chinese Fast-Food and the 2 Item of your choice and Flied Lice or Chow Main is only $ 5.99 and the portions are generous, MUCH more than Panda! Two Item —($ 5.99) — I got ½ Flied Lice ½ Chow Mein, Beef & Broc-O-ree, Kung((Pow)) Chicken they give you lots of Lice & Noodles just add some Soy sauce and Sriracha it’s all good! Beef & Broc-O-ree — more like Broc-O-ree with a few pieces of Beef, but that’s OK… I needed to get my Veg on. Kung((Pow)) Chicken — Light on the Chicken, I also wished it had more Peanuts, Kung Pow had NOPOW but Sriracha takes care of that! My Biggest complaint was, I asked for my Red Envelope and they just looked at me like I was crazy! what’s up with that? it’s your tradition, Damn Chinos… Back to my Tacos for Dinner…

Absolute junk Chinese food. Yet I give this place 4 hearty stars… Because sometimes, that’s just what the doctor ordered: Chinese fast food. For the price+portion, you really can’t complain. Your taste buds won’t either(but your tummy may after). My favorites are the jalapeño chicken, curry chicken, Kung pao chicken, chicken wings, eggplant with tofu. I usually get it with half steam rice and half vegetables. Even the steamed boring vegetables make a stand in flavor… This stuff is clearly not healthy, but if you’re debating between this and Panda Express, it is truly no contest. Even their spicy orange chicken is off the chain! Parking is usually easy breezy, but on occasion it could be a nuisance. Go to this place for the quick and cheap factors, but if you need not have a bubble belly, warning– you may want to pass.

The signage reads CHINESEFASTFOOD. Some call it Best Chinese Food 2000 — I’m not sure where that name, or the 2000 comes from, but I’ve seen weirder things. I decided I needed a break from the never-ending flow of sandwiches and tacos that is my life and opted for a quick, cheap lunch and choosing dives over chains, ended up here. Here I decided pretty early on I shouldn’t go for anything fancy — the straight cafeteria style of it all suggested things involving things like vegetables or subtlety might not work. But that tried and true orange chicken, that would probably be just fine. I’m not really sure what happened next, «combo?» «sure…» and I had netted a weighty take out tray filled to the brim with stuff. In fact, it weighed 1lb 12 ounces. $ 6. This place is definitely going for the value proposition. (How you ask did I know how much it weighed? Postage meter.) It was pretty good, average fare of orange chicken. Strangely of the two items, you’d think the rice would be the easy one but it was pretty terrible — it being plain steamed white rice. Somehow even the fortune cookie that came with all of it even looked cheap. It read LEARNCHINESE — Very good, followed by the respective characters. Maybe not Best [Chinese Food 2000] or even Very good, but ok. How do you say that in Chinese?
