Cookies by Design

I needed a same day delivery for a special occasion, and I was orchestrating this from 1500 miles away. Luckily I came across Cookies by Design in Glenview. Not only was the online ordering process a breeze, but the same-​day delivery item options were plentiful. When the hand delivery arrived, no one was home, and Cookies By Design called me immediately! Adam was GREAT and completely understood that this sometimes happened. He patiently and graciously waited until someone came to accept the delivery. Now THAT’S customer service! Buy your cookie gift items here!

Placed an order for my baby shower. When we received the cookies it wasn’t what we had ordered. Due to it being the day before my shower we were forced to takes the cookies. This place has the worst costumer service ever. The staff was rude and the regional manager was even worse. Having there cookies at my baby shower was an embarrassment. Go somewhere else if you want cookies. Terrible place

I would NOT recommend Cookies by Design EVER! I went to pick up my order for my daughter’s baby shower. There were supposed to be 3 lovely nautical themed cookies and then a couple dozen cookies in the shape of sailboats, to match. When I went to pick up the order I realized that the smaller cookies DID NOT resemble sailboats in the slightest way. They were not what was agreed upon by my daughter when she placed the order and when I asked if they could do something like add a line of icing to make the cookies look better the woman said, «I could, but then the cookies will cost you $ 3.99 instead of $ 1.99.» Really? You’ll double the price of the cookie to make it look like what it should have in the first place? I don’t think so. Also, they colored some of the cookies navy blue (more black if you ask me) which was SO UNAPPETIZING on a cookie. Since the shower was the next day, I had to take the order, because there was no way to go somewhere else and get a themed dessert on such short notice. Crappy service, crappy cookies… I was embarrassed to say the very least. If you need special cookies, do not bother with this place… go ANYWHERE else (they’re in the Glen)!

I was very impressed with the customer service from this Glenview location! I received a call as soon as they delivered my order to a friend.
Received a picture text from the friend minutes later and it looked GREAT!
After losing her pet (best friend), I wanted something fast to send her that would cheer her up. I’m glad I placed my order with this location!

I love Cookies by design. They deliver cookie baskets as gifts for any occasion which is nice to have as an option instead of flowers. The cookies are really really good and always super fresh and nicely decorated. My grandma really loves getting a cookies by design basket for her birthday every year.

Love the little store, has great baskets and a nice cookie selection. Most of the cookies are pretty good! Red velvet one is just so sweet that it is just a bit over whelming and I usually stay away from it now, but feel free to stop into this place the next time you are at the glen and give this place a try, but a cookie or two. The perfect thing that I would add to this would be some coffee and tea.
Realistically I would say 3.5 stars.
