I don’t understand how this place has so many low ratings. I love their pizza. My favorite is the thin crust dags special which is sausage, onions, green peppers, and mushrooms. I get it with easy sauce and easy mushrooms. Just my personal taste. The cheese is very gooey and the crust very crispy. It tastes very fresh and authentic. Got to try this place if you haven’t. You’ll love it.

Let me preface by saying I HATE writing bad reviews. I rarely do it. But the experience I had at this place deserves a bad review. I called to place a delivery order. The gentlemen who answered the phone was rude, short and seemed angry at me. I was told it would be 1 hour and 30 minutes for delivery. I opted to choose pick up. I was told it would be an hour. I asked why so long and was told the power had gone out an hour ago and they were catching up. I’m in the service industry so I understand. I show up an hour later to pick up my food. Id never been to this location before so I was unaware of a pickup door on the side of the building. When I walked in I was unsure of where to go. 5 employees and no one said anything. It was strange. After finding out where to go I made my way to the pickup area. A short balding man came forward with an annoyed look on his face. I told him I was there for a pickup and gave him my name. His response was to point at me and say«we couldn’t make your breasted chicken, the power went out.» I was confused, because not only had the power gone out before my call to order, but I had given them my phone number so I was upset that no one had called to tell me this an hour ago. I asked the gentlemen why I hdnt received a phone call. He responded by saying the phones had gone out. Again I was confused, I called to order… People were on the phone at the present moment… Am I really to believe the phones went out as soon as we hung up and started working again as soon as I got there? Not to mention if the phones were out… In today’s day with everyone owning a cel phone… I still didn’t receive a call? Ok so this angry man tells me I can order something else. I order blackened chicken wings. I complained about the lack of a phone call again and the angry man tells me that the wings will be on the house. I step back to wait for my food. This man walks around the counter and opens the door and wedges it open.(It’s cold outside!!) so for the next 25 minutes. Yes 25 min for wings! I stand there obviously freezing with my hood up and my hands in my sleeves. Finally the food is ready and I give the guy my card. He runs it and I get no receipt. I ask for one and he tells me he cant give me one because of the power issues. At this point I’m upset. It’s been over an hour and a half and im not even home with the food yet. So I conplain. I ask the guy what is going on with this place. Tell him i have 10+ years of industry management and that this is not how you treat customers. I tell him he was rude from minute one of the phone call to order and I wanted to know why they were mad at me. It sure seemed like it and why I would ever do business with them again. The guy simply says«im not mad at you» and stares at me clearly not caring much. So I take the food and leave. As I walk past the glass windows on my way out I look back to see the man and an employee laughing. Obviously at the angry customer. So as I got in the car I called and asked for the general manager. Sure enough, this guy is the gm! Or so he says! At that point, what was the point in complaining? So I simply said«this makes a lot of sense» and I hung up. I will never ever go to this place again. And on top of all of it. I get home… They didn’t give us the toppings to the bruschetta, so we had bread w cheese on it. And they labeled the ranch dressing Alfredo so when I poured it on my Alfredo fries it ruined them. Lastly, I added up the items I ordered online. And sure enough. I paid for those wings! Dagostinos will never get another penny from me. Lies lies lies and bad business practices.

I work as a bartender and have been in the food and beverage industry for 6 years. I was waiting for the Metra across the street and I decided to walk into Dagostinos Pizzeria to grab a beer and some food while I waited for my train. The host asked if she could help me and I told her I was getting a drink at the bar. She told me to go ahead. As I approached the bar I was greeted with a very unwelcoming stare by a Caucasian man in his 40s maybe with a bald top and hair on his sides. He asks me in a very harsh tone as I sat myself at his barstool«can I help you?». He said it in a manner that suggested I was at the wrong place and did not belong. I replied that I was just getting a drink. He asked again«can I help you?» I was already seated and he did not want me there so I replied«I just wanted a drink but it’s ok have a good evening». As I left he yelled out«we got plenty of drinks here!» and he laughed as I left. I am sure this place is not doing well with this kind of service. I am never going back here again. If you ever need lessons on how to properly treat a guest come visit my restaurant you p****.

Went for pizza with my family and the management was so rude. It was unbelievable. They gave us the wrong pizza to our table and the manager was very condescending about it. We know what we ordered. I highly suggest going else where for pizza.

I ate at the Glenview location with a friend and our kids. The food was horrible, which surprised me due to all the great reviews. The bottom of our pizza was burned to the point it was not edible, which almost didn’t matter because the sauce was way too sweet. We told the waitress and she didn’t offer to do anything to fix it. Also the mac n cheese the kids got was mush. We ended up still paying for all of it even though it was garbage. We then went to McDonald’s to actually get something to eat.

Had the Calzone and Tiramisu tonight. Not my favorite of either. Price vs Sarpinos in the Calzone department… Sarpinos is better with their cheese and dough. For the Tiramisu. It was very dry however when compared to Sarpinos Tiramisu… I pick Sarpinos Tiramisu any day. They charged me 2.95 for delivery then additional 1.00 sub charge for what? Those shady charges irks me. I didnt take it out on the delivery guy and tipped him 4 for timely delivery. Will I be back? Probably not. As Sarpinos has better price/value and better tasty calzone and tiramisu. Thanks for the great delivery service and ease of online ordering. Was easy.

Why do they charge a $ 1.00 service fee to pick up your own food? It does not mention this on their menu online or the paper menu. Rip off. I used to go there all the time but now I feel the food has become sub par and it leaves a bad taste in my mouth with the hidden fees. I will no longer be visiting their establishment and my friends were also appauled at the fees and will not be ordering from there any longer. I will go right next door to Egg Harbor at least I know what i’m paying for and the prices may be a bit higher but the quality of the food is better.

I would like to preface this review by saying I LOVE their pizza and other Italian food items and I haven’t ordered from here in a long time, so I had a serious craving for this pizza tonight. HOWEVER tonight their food fell short for me. I usually always order delivery, I only live about 10 minutes away from this location, and my medium sized pizza and ravioli were so cold I had to heat it up in the microwave(disappointing). Also, I ordered spinach on my pizza, and I received basil, which is not a huge deal because 1) I’m Italian and so I love basil, and 2) it was still tasty after reheating it. but spinach and basil have two very different, distinct tastes… and um… it’s not what I ordered… The reason this review has 3 stars is because this is not their norm. I usually get prompt delivery service, served piping hot. Today was the exact opposite. It made me question whether or not I should have ordered from Salerno’s in the Glen that we have yet to try…

I ordered a steak sandwich and I must say it was one of the best steak sandwiches I have ever had, not to mention the tater tots were also delicious.

From time to time, we patronize D’Agostino’s for lunch because they frequently offer discounts, Groupons, and other incentives to allure attractive, sexy hot guys like me. We had our distinguished daughter, the druggist from Dairyland, visiting us over the holidays; and we settled on visiting D’Agostino’s since we do like their pizzas. So we went over the river and through the woods through the snow for a lunch there — except that we did not go over a river and there are no woods unless we would drive several miles out of the way to get there. We did have a half price Entertainment coupon. We arrived at about noon on a Saturday, and the place was actually empty. We were the sole patrons. Do you think others got the aura that The Cheapskates were coming, and the respectable burghers of Glenview fled to avoid us? Well, Mrs. B ordered a thick crust pizza for the three of us, and we did enjoy a nice lunch. Our daughter told us all about such fascinating subjects as controlled drugs and Medicare part D. Despite all the«D» words that I have generated in this short essay, we found the service to be very attentive, and the food to be delightful. I noticed that some of the other posters have cited problems they experienced with their experiences at Dag’s. We have never experienced these issues, so I will recommend this restaurant — especially if you are a romantic. There is nothing more erotic than sitting with a loved one looking out the window watching the passenger trains zipping down the track across the street. Well, I did see some sexy garbage scows on the Hudson River near NYC last fall — but we lovebirds find the choo-choos very aphrodisiacal.

This place has super tasty food aside from pizza. I was not expecting the deliciousness from a standard pizza/pub. We ordered the Alfredo Fries, a chicken Caesar salad and a chicken philly sandwich. The fries were crispy and tasty and when dipped in the Alfredo sauce became that much more hardy. The salad was ok. Nothing special. The grilled chicken topping the salad was tasty and came in a big portion. What it was really lacking was parmesan cheese on top. Even the tiniest sprinkle would of made a huge difference. Considering its a pizza place it was a a bit disappointing to not see a Parma cheese container alongside the crushed red pepper one on each table. The best part of the meal was the chicken philly sandwich. It was warm, crispy, and gooey with cheese and crisp green peppers! So so so good. I would and will def be back.

Love the other locations, this one, STAYAWAY! Found a hair in burger. Manager questioned if it was there or not. Undercooked food, poor service. Manager bothered by our requests.

The reason our family and all our friends and neighbors do not do business with Dags is their management, mark and every other idiot that had managed or tended bar there. Hello delivery drivers taking up bar stools hello get real your the ghetto pizza place in glenview look at who u hire do research those of us locals don’t want to deal with what u hire

Ate in on a Tuesday night. Place filled up quickly around 6PM. My server was not equipped to deal with the rush of customers. Pizza was good. The rest of the food was not. The teriyaki chicken was too salty. The nachos missed such staples as: sour cream, salsa, and guacamole. The cheez wiz topping was poured over the top. The nachos reminded me of ball park nachos, not restaurant nachos. I would suggest you carry out from here. Dine in was really terrible.

I like Dags but wish they were cheaper, I mean we are eating pizza right? Everytime my family of four stops in we end up spending 50 – 60 bucks and that is what usually causes me to steer clear of Dags. Dags has a half hearted text campaign that you can opt into. I receive text deals infrequently. The Glenco location is nice, located right next to the train station and on Thursdays runs some drink specials. Tip — if you check in on Unilocal first time, you get some free cheesy garlic bread I think, or at least I did one time.

An ok place for pizza, and few other miscellaneous servings(pasta, sandwiches, ribs, chicken). It’s a quieter place on the eastern edge of the Glen. We tried their thin sausage pizza, and their broasted chicken, which was a nice dish — basically fried but less greasy than regular fried chicken.

We sat in the bar one night and had great servers — Sonia and Josh took care of us. We decided to try wings which we have never ordered there before. Josh recommended having them grilled with a blackened spice rub, he was right they were amazing(although a tad salty.) We went back two weeks later and ordered the Thai flavor on the grilled wings and liked that better without the blacken seasoning — they were crispy and spicy but not too salty. We will be ordering those again! All the servers were very attentive they must be sharing tips — it was such great service. For the first time we tried the deep dish pizza. It was tasty but really one ought to stick to Lou Malnati’s for that type of pizza. The toppings were too wet and the dough not quite fatty enough for that style. It was good but nowhere as awesome as their thin crust which has yet to be beat anywhere. A thin crust 4 veggie, white pizza(no tomato sauce) we concocted with fresh garlic, sliced onions, artichoke hearts and fresh spinach was simply the tastiest white pizza we’ve ever had anywhere — they can be so boring. Not this puppy! Try it sometime if the ingredients are in your wheelhouse.

I’m so glad that I came back because D’Agostino’s completely redeemed themselves this time around. We ordered a salad, pizza and one of the kids got a kids meal. Service was fabulous, much faster this time around and courteous. I also love that there is that area for the kids to pick up books to read while waiting for the food. They also had crayons and coloring pages for the kids to play with, as well. We ended our delicious dinner with an ice cream sundae and promised to be back. Much better experience this time around!

I only did carry out. In fact I did less than that. I ordered and ate. I didn’t pick-up or pay. The man who took my order did make me feel as if I just interrupted him at home. Dude… I am calling you to order food… food that we will pay for… which is why you have a job… please act slightly appreciative… or get another job!!! The food was fantastic. The deep dish sausage was great. The thin crust was better. When I order again, I will re-post for a more complete picture of this establishment.
