I switched pharmacies. Twice, in a row, I was third person in line at the pharmacy. Two cash registers, one employee. Just as it was my turn in line, a second employee appears. Life’s too short to wait in line like that. My new pharmacy’s name rhymes with CBS. There’s never a wait there, and they have a drive thru. Buh bye Walgreen’s!

I visited the pharmacy department of this Store today, first time since the store was remodeled. I was not impressed. The pharmacy staff now hides behind a wall and the pharmacist is nowhere to be seen, just pharmacy techs. I will no longer use this store for prescriptions.

As far as Walgreens go this one gets C+ at best. The positives for this place is that they are clean and well stocked. But the parking lot is a nightmare. It doesn’t look like a problem when you first pull up but I advise NOT trying to get a close spot. Do yourself a favor if you need to come here and park out a bit. Cars are constantly cramped trying to get in and out of spaces, blocking each other, and trying to get on and off the street which is right by the first parking lane. Another problem with this place is that the same guy is always at the register and he PUSHES candy on you like his life depends on it. They cram the top of the counter with the stuff and he asks if you want to buy it every single time you’re there… Even if you’re already buying candy from elsewhere in the store! And if you say no he always throws in an «are you sure?» I don’t understand if this guy gets commission on candy or what.

I’ve been to this Walgreens location close over 100 times, as I live nearby. Every time I’ve been there, I’ve been treated nicely and respectfully. There are always short lines and plenty of parking spaces. They’ve got great prices on almost everything in the store and are always fully stocked with great quality merchandise. The whole pharmacy staff is knowledgeable, quick and efficient. You can go in with a prescription and be out with the drugs in less than 10 minutes. I love the little clearance section they have in the store, as well as the way this store executes the Walgreens creed of friendliness and convenience.

Unbelievable. The cashier actually snapped his fingers at the customer in front of me, in a «hurry it up and give me the money» sort of gesture. And for me… he didn’t look at me… took my card, swiped it, and held it and said«here here» in a hastily way. Pushed the receipt towards my bag and started helping the next person. What’s the F’n panic, Dbag, this is Walgreen’s cashiering, not rocket science. As I exited, I said THANKYOU. paused for dramatic effect… and added, A$$____. Classless on my part, perhaps, but gratifying. Because that was the only thank you I was going to get. I’ll go to Jewel across the street from now on.

Troglodytes, at least at the photo counter. The rest, I can’t really vouch for, seeing as I will never go to this location again. Sent over a picture to be printed from my computer from home, one chilly day in December. The computer said that it would be ready to be picked up at 8:16. Went in at around 10:30 to pick up the picture, and was told that I already picked up the picture I ordered in OCTOBER. They never got the order from offline, and didn’t care to help with anything else. I got very irritated and quickly turned around and left. Incapable troglodytes. Avoid this Walgreens at all costs.

I have not used this location for prescriptions, just quick purchases of greeting cards, candy, ice cream and cosmetic supplies. The store looks like most of their other locations and has a convenient parking lot outside. TIP: You can find discount coupons in the Sunday newspaper for soap, paper toweling and other popular household items.
