Glad we found this little place. Really enjoyed our meal. It was a bit tricking finding parking, but the walk was worth it. The staff was super friendly, and we felt like we were eating at a friends home. They interacted with us, and gave us tips on other cute spots in the town. Our omelette was amazing! If we happen to be driving through this part of the country again, we will definately be back!

My husband and I came here after being turned away from the hanging lake due to not allowing rv parking. This was definitely a pleasant place to end up after such a disappointment. This was the best breakfast we have ever had. We would definitely stop by again! I got the veggie skillet, my husband had the mexican burrito and we shared french toast.

Breakfast was great! I had the Scandinavian Eggs Benedict… sooooooo good! My husband had the potato pancakes. The waitress warned us they come out darker then what people are used to but my husband loved them! The coffee was great and they made sure to keep my cup full. The waitstaff was super friendly!

Perfect little breakfast spot! Our family of five was seated immediately by the friendly waitstaff. Our food was delicious and the coffee kept coming. The baguette French toast was unique and so yummy. The pancakes were moist and delicious – melt-in-your-mouth tasty. My husband tried the homemade berry jam and said it was perfectly sweet. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and we saw them happily and quickly rearrange the entrance way for a gentlemen on a motorized scooter so that he could get in comfortably. This is our new favorite breakfast stop when visiting Glenwood Springs!

My wife and I debated between 3 and 4 stars. The service was so good we went with a 4. The food was good, but nothing special. My wife loved her French toast, but over-medium eggs were pretty runny. My pancakes were a bit chewy and I used a knife to cut them, which is something I never do. The homemade jam was a nice bonus. The price was a bit on the high end for what I’m used to for a breakfast joint. The staff was amazing though. Coffee never ran dry and they were incredibly friendly.

Not bad. Waitress was nice and friendly. Both my husband and I got the meat skillet. They must have used maple sausage because there was a distinct maple flavor. The potatoes seemed cooked wrong. They looked burned, but they were soft and squishy like a baked potato. Decent for the price we spent, I just didn’t like the potatoes done that way.

The daily bread’s breakfast is out of this world. We stop here every time we stay in Glenwood Springs. We love the eggs Benedict and the scrambles. A+++++!

Loved those home fries! The omelet tasted strange but we liked the French toast and the general vibe of the place. We loved getting texted when the wait was up so we didn’t have to worry about being right there. Good service and cute spot

Prices were definitely not in the $$ range. I got French toast with eggs and fruit and I think it was 9 bucks. So I fell like they are more in the $ range. Service was good. Food was good. Id come back here on my next visit for sure.

Fantastic breakfast spot! Ate here both days during my stay in the area. The pol-mex omelet was light and fluffy and the potatoes were perfect. The next day I had the breakfast burrito and it was amazing. The green chile sauce was fantastic. Also had a side of their baguette French toast and it can’t be beat as well. Highly highly recommend the restaurant.

Best breakfast in Glenwood Springs. They have a wonderful and yummy selection of everything, bust especially omelettes! Great food, great service, cozy/small town atmosphere. Really good gluten free options. Next time we are in Glenwood, we will definitely be back!

The owners need to look up the definition of «Skillet». It’s not a cold plate shaped like a skillet. It’s usually made of iron and is essential to making a sizzling fajita or «Breakfast Skillet» work. Staff pleasant. Place always packed with old folk. Kinda dark and dingy inside. Not sure why the high star rating. Try Bluebird café across the street. They have crappy pastries but real yummy quiche and way better coffee than this place

Ham and cheese skillet was amazing. I would say the best part of my meal was the white toast I got! Slapped a little butter on there and it was still warm so it made for a great couple of bites. I highly suggest that you try this spot out for a quick and tasty breakfast spot.

Great breakfast spot! The sign is small and the building a little rustic, be sure you don’t walk on by. We were quoted a 20 minute wait and they took our number to text us when our table was ready, which allowed us time to check out the fun tourist shop next door. What a great option for managing a crowd! this was not an option the night before at Italian Underground. That place had an hour wait and in the midst of a sea of people you had to find one unidentified man with a note pad to get on the wait list. No hostess stand at the Italian place so we never tried the food. Daily Bread has super friendly staff with a dog friendly patio. Great coffee with a carafe of water on every table. We tried the Greek skillet and the biscuit and gravy special, both were great!

Vegetarian friendly– however not super vegan savvy. We enjoyed bottomless coffee on the outdoor patio. This place is a quaint little diner with the menu based around(delicious looking) meats, cheeses and eggs. But vegans ready your charming ordering skills! We ordered the veggie skillet sans eggs, sans cheese, and requested a little extra avocado in place. The veggies were delicious but sparse and we could tell they didn’t know quite what to do with our vegan request. It ended up being a good little breakfast with toast, homemade salsa and homemade preserves. There was generous avocado and yummy potatoes. The servers and staff are friendly and see to it that the coffee is full but I wouldn’t say they do the best job being a liaison for the menu– which has a huge variety! Make sure to ask for what you want– mimosas, extra veggies, etc, — because this diner has the full spread.

Shout out to Byron Gardener at the Amtrak station for giving us the inside scoop on this joint! Imagine you took a trip to granny’s house for breakfast. Imagine how sweet her décor is… little wood breakfast nook, photos on the wall, homemade preserves on the table. Now, imagine granny is a bad-ass cook and can take you on a homemade culinary adventure to Norway. Well, that is what I imagined and then savored! I ordered the Scandinavian skillet. The skillet comes with a bed of toasty homefries, a pile of smoked salmon, and a heaping drizzle of hollandaise sauce with a sprinkling of capers, tomatoes, and onions. I felt like this was the perfect hearty breakfast for a long day of walking and sitting in the hot spring pool. And it was perfect. It tasted perfect and was just the right amount of food. I also ordered the sourdough bread with it and smeared butter and the homemade preserves on it which were sweet and delicious. The husband ordered the veggie skillet which for me didn’t seem very adventurous, but boy it sure tasted good. He ordered it with pepper jack cheese and I enjoyed a few bites. The staff rounded out the whole grandma’s home feel. They were super nice and helped each other out and were able to text us when our table was ready. This was truly a very sweet place to start the morning!

Nooked in the downtown of Glenwood Springs, this little brunch place was a very nice discovery. At first it was hard to find this place because the front sign was a little weather worn and the sign was also covered by a lamp post. Also, it’s located right next to another brunch place so that was a bit confusing as well. We waited about 30 minutes to be seated. At first they told us our party of 7 would be split up but we were happy to find out that we would be seated together. The area we were seated in was this super cute small space in the back of the restaurant. It almost felt like someone’s kitchen and that someone had invited us to their house. The waiter was very friendly and gave us ample time to decide before taking our orders. The menu was very big and included items like your basic omelets, benedicts, and scrambled variations of those. I was intrigued by the Scandinavian benedict at first but I soon discovered there was a scramble version of this on the next page. I decided that it was probably easier to eat that than a benedict. It had smoked salmon, two sunnyside up eggs, and a heaping portion of delicious red potatoes. I was STUFFED! and I only ate half. Of course that was contributory to my pizza pigging out the night before but I think on a regular day, this would have been an ample portion. It also came with a side of toast which I ordered sourdough. Overall, this was great experience, very laid back brunch location and ambience. Food was delicious as well =)
