The staff here are pretty good, they do change periodically though. The quality of food is always high. Never had any issues.

The food was OK. Nothing I would probably pick to eat at again. The kid behind the counter had no idea what he was doing. I told him my order and he said «what?» Instead of «what was that?» Or «I’m sorry I didn’t hear that». Then, once we finished ordering, my boyfriend went to use a gift card and the kid said to run it through the credit card machine. When he did it just said error. My boyfriend told him it said error and the kid said he was new and didn’t know what to do. I asked him if he could ask someone. He hesitated and called the manager over. She showed him how to do it and we paid. The last thing is that there was only one other couple there, but it took a really long time to get our food.

I used to love this place, but thw last two times we’ve been here it was freezing. I asked both times to turn down the air conditioning, but the workers say they can’t. I won’t go back until it’s warm enough to sit outside.
Also, I saw an ant on the salsa bar. Just one, but still…

I know this is a chain, but I always get the BEST customer service when I come in here, and the food is consistent! Heather, one of the managers, is so friendly, welcoming, and takes care to remember her customers: I’d been in maybe once a week, for several weeks, and she remembered my face. Today she greeted me by name and knew my order. I’ve interacted with her the most, but everybody else has been warm as well. Definitely above and beyond. I’d give 4.5 stars because the condiment area can be messy sometimes, but since half stars aren’t an option, I’ll round up.

Honestly disappointed. I arrived at home with no dressing on my $ 9 «balsamic» veggie salad, so I used what I had in the fridge. It was alright, but not the same. I also feel they should have a pick up order section for To-​Go orders, so you’re not stuck in a line. Even though there was only 3 people ahead of me, I was waiting 10 minutes in line just to pick up my order. As I expected, someone new was behind the counter. I understand everyone starts somewhere, but just not happy with my overall experience tonight.

This place has gone downhill. Staff is clueless and food quality has lacked in the last couple of visits. When the cashiers can’t take an order correctly it spells trouble. Food was disappointing at best. Seems that they’re trying to pander to a different demographic, presentation of food doesn’t mean anything when the food is bland. The whole experience has been bad lately. Won’t be back.

We come here all the time. Easy to order, and the meals are fresh and tasty. Love the burrito especial with guacamole on whole grain tortilla!
Salsa bar always has several styles of salsa. The salsa is more processed than fresh, but always tasty.
The dining is clean and spacious, and they have the best outdoor seating with tree covered canopy and hanging lights. Perfect!
The employees here are always super friendly and helpful. And to add to the whole appeal here, they have a small selection of wines and beer to have a nice glass with your meal.
Give it a try. It’ll become one of your favorites too!

Very nice location with ample outside seating in nice shaded area. The location is bigger than the others I have been to. The drink area is a little cramped and can get backed up when its busy and when I was there all the salsas seemed watered down and lacked the punch and flavor I am used to. So thats why they lost a star. The service was fas and friendly and food was yummy. I had a mahi mahi burrito and it was full of fish. They ran out of the Mango tea so was kinda bummed about that and it took too long to brew some more so I didn’t get to have a refill for the way home. I would come back to this location again and glad I found it here cause I forget about it since I don’t go over that far in the parking lot so I go to Jacks Urban Eats and Starbucks when I’m over here. Now I know and will come here again.

YUM! For fast-​food fish tacos, it was so great! I had the salad with shrimp. So yummy! Chips were great. Guacamole was on point. The Original Fish Taco was THE BOMB​.COM. So tasty! Wish this was a chain in TX! Also, the girl at the front was awesome!

I love their Grilled Gourmet Tacos. Always flavorful and hit the spot. I’ve had both the chicken and beef and both are excellent. Atmosphere here is nice as well. I need to try some other items on the menu but those tacos are so good!

I’ve eaten at many different Rubio’s in San Diego and Sacramento. This one is by far the best! The location is great, the service was great and the food tasted great! Take note. Three greats in one review is highly unusual for me.
I’m not sure if this is a new location but the interior was spotless. If it’s not new, someone works very hard to keep it that clean. I ordered a salad with grilled vegetables and chicken. It was delicious. The chicken was cooked perfectly, vegetable charred but still crisp and fresh lettuce.
I would like to give them five stars but Rubio’s portions are so small. I can get three or four times the salad at a competitor for the same price. Dang it Ralph Rubio! Stop being so skimpy with the portions! If you’re a light eater, this place is for you.

Tried Rubio’s with me friend for the first time yesterday after the lunch rush, walked in with two other tables around, loved the service here and the restaurant was clean. The cashier was very friendly and told me to try their salsa bar because they make the salsa fresh daily. I got the roasted veggie salad with chicken, my friend got the lobster burrito. Sadly, we were not impressed with the food at all. The salad was pretty small and it didn’t really have any flavors that I had to pour some salsa over it in order to continue eating, I would rather get a salad from beach hut deli which is located in the same parking lot. And my friend said the burrito was just okay. I’m giving them 3 stars only for the service and I certainly won’t return for the food.

31 minutes for 2 burritos on a slow late Sunday afternoon… unacceptable. Then my burrito was cold and greasy. Their excuse was there is only 2 cooks, for the amount of customers at a FAST FOOD place this seems adequate. Not sure if each Rubios is owned my a different person, but the one on Zinfandel is much better.
