Best iced mocha I’ve ever had! I usually get iced vanilla lattes but here I always go for the iced mocha. Delicious!

I live around the corner, which would ideally make Zizzo’s the spot for me to get my morning coffee. However I’ve gone twice this week to this coffee shop and its left me incredibly disappointed. The first time I went in the morning. Ordered a specialty latte and waited for around 15 minutes only to get an iced coffee. Called the attention of this to the employees and they said they would make me another drink, to which I’d rather not because that would mean waiting another 15 minutes which I did not have. Today I came in before work. Seeing that there were very few customers inside and three people working I thought it would be a good idea to order a mocha to see what Zizzo’s drinks taste like. Again, very few customers and three people working yet they were not able to make my drink within the 15 minutes that I waited and when I asked for it, I saw that it had not yet even been started to be made as the priority seemed to be going to customers coming in through the drive through. Coming from a person who used to work in a coffeeshop for a long time, this is really unacceptable. Zizzo’s employees work at a turtle pace and are incredibly unorganized. I am incredibly disappointed with the service of this establishment and will never again be going spent around 10 dollars that were not worth it and which I didn’t even get to enjoy. If you are a working professional that has places to go and whose time is of the essence please do not go here, there is a French press right up the corner which I will now be going to.

This coffee is so good! Skinny mocha frap was amazing. Drive thru is super convenient too. I am craving zizzos every day now for my work pick me up. so good!

They opened a new location at The Village(Goleta, close to their 1st location) and it has quickly become my favorite place to get coffee, sit down, study/work. At this location, the interior is brand new and beautiful! I feel so productive every time I come here :) It’s not cluttered, loud nor busy like most coffee shops in town. The(coffee) drinks are delicious & fairly priced for the amount of work that goes into them. This location also has a small bar, with beers on tap. Loving it here. Almost don’t want to write this review so this place doesn’t become too popular&crowded… But that would not be fair to how great it is

Deceiving menu. Ordered a turkey/pesto panini and got a toasted pre-made sandwich instead. Cheese was not all melted and there was no pesto. Service was fine but food quality lacked.

Hmmm … my second negative review of a place in a week? This is an unusual trend for me, since my reviews are usually 4&5 stars. I am pretty easy to please. However, Zizzo’s failed on 2 fronts today and both are far too important topics to ignore: coffee and bacon. Coffee: for about the 5th time, I have found their coffee to be weak and tasteless. I just can’t let this slide at a COFFEE place. Guess I won’t be getting my coffee here anymore, despite the super convenient drive through window and consistently friendly service. The coffee is just too bad. Bacon: The«bacon» burrito had ONE slice of bacon in it. One. And a pretty weak & thin one it was. more like ¾ of a very thin slice. SEVEREBACONDISAPPOINTMENT. And overall the burito was pretty bland and flavorless. Even that sin paled in comparison to the dearth of bacon, however. You can’t call THAT a «Bacon Burrito.» Please. The salsa good and the service is friendly, but even those two positives aren’t enough to overcome bad coffee and poorly prepared food.

I really like zizzos. Their blendeds are great and the staff there have always been polite and cheery which is nice to experience first thing in the morning. The drive thru is really convenient and sometimes they may run a little slower than other big chains but there’s plenty to like about zizzos. Their food is pretty simple, I usually get a sesame bagel and blended mocha and that combo is simply tasty :)

If I knew the French Press had a location down the street from here I would not of even went. Slow surly service. Overly sweet coffee, terrible bagel, with weird butter substance. Into the trash they both went.

Nice to have drive-thru coffee in Goleta, especially when you’re a mom and carting your kids in and out of the car seat feels like a challenge when caffeine-deprived. The salads are great but on several occasions they were sold out of them before 10AM, which I find pretty annoying. Great dirty chai lattes. Their black tea is so-so.

I mostly go to Zizzos for a coffee to go. It is the perfect place to stop because the lattes are affordable and the service is great. They also have breakfast burritos and bagels if you are ever hungry. Definitely a place to stop if you are in a rush, the drive through is very convenient! I give Zizzos a 3.5!

I have lived in IV for two years, and never stopped at Zizzo’s because I presumed, just based on the signage, that it was just another coffee place(with a drive-thru). So you can imagine my surprise when I realized they sell quality hot and cold sandwiches, and other foods … AND beer. I just had the Charger sandwich, but it was hot and toasty and tasty, and was a good value for $ 7.50. I will stop by another time and check out some of their sweet Happy Hour deals.

Zizzo’s Coffee is 3.5 star tops, but nothing that a little scrubbing can do. I found it dirty as can be, and being late in the afternoon at 330pm is no excuse. Perhaps a little«adult supervision» would help the kids working there drive better results. Additional negatives: ================ * I had a Cold Coffee, and it tasted burnt. Positives: ======== * A drive-thru * Ample seating * Free Wi-Fi I would try Zizzo’s again, hopefully, for a better experience. If not, the Bucks up the road in the marketplace will be my future Goleta stop.

I love stopping by this coffee shop for a pick me up after grocery shopping at the nearby Albertson’s because they have a drive thru. I have yet to try their coffee, but I love their Sicilian Latte(hot or cold).

Mixed experiance About 3 months ago They did not honor an «Entertainment» coupon for a two for one drink. They said«Entertainment» printed the coupon without their permission. To top it off capachino drink was weak without the taste I would expect.(one star) About one month ago tried again with Axxess card and both worked fine and coffee tasted better.(four stars) Thus updated average of 3 stars

I don’t like my cappuccino. It has a weird after taste, and I can’t taste my espresso in it. The décor is nice though. Seriously though the cappuccino tastes really weird, I’m sipping it as we speak right now and it has a weird herbal Chinese medicine after taste.

They messed up my sandwich and burned it :(But quickly made a new one upon realizing what they had done. I will say, though, that Zizzo’s over Starbucks any day

I have tried their latte, which tasted a bit burnt and hazelnutty. I hope other coffee beverages at Zizzo’s taste better. [Edit June’16] I have bought coffee here a few times, and it was definitely not as bad as on my first visit. But still, could have been better.

Zizzo’s is a quality coffee spot in Goleta, I’m not sure why it doesn’t have a higher rating. It’s a great alternative to those looking to get away from Starbucks. The cold-brew coffee is incredible. It has all the greatness of regular coffee but without the acidity. Zizzo’s cold brew is on point.

This place is pretty awesome… Idk why the overall rating isn’t higher. After a lot of questions and guidance from the order-taker, I made a careful selection of a medium Blended Sicilian with caramel drizzle. So the blended drinks have a house coffee base with additional espresso mixed it. My blended Sicilian was absolutely perfect. Not too sweet or boring, not watery but not too thick. It was absolutely perfect. They have house made whip cream, but it wasn’t too great. That’s the only downfall. The drive thru was reasonably paced. The girl taking my order was awesome. The price was reasonable. I’m totally a fan!!! They have a large menu with lots of unique drinks and food options. Definitely stop by sometime.
