Came in at 11:45 am, pizza did not look fresh at all but I was very hungry and foolishly got a slice despite it’s appearance. It was definitely left over from the day before, which is pathetic.

The Pizza Tour De Goshen Continues with our stop at Olympic Pizza. I was mainly craving a Gyro and this places Greek influences seemed to fit the bill. I ordered a Gyro with just sauce and a side of fries. DW went with a chicken parm hero and DD had a slice of pizza. I tacked on an extra slice so that I could sample their pizza for possible future indulgence. Everything we had was pretty decent. Def one of our better pizzeria experiences in the town of Goshen. Another highlight to this place is their extremely reasonable pricing. I think a large cheese pie can be had for less than $ 10. The Gyro was 6.50 and I think the chicken parm hero was priced the same. We’ll definitely be giving Olympic pizza another go.

I went and had dinner here by walking into town the other day. The place has what is basically a pizzeria setup with a few tables inside and one outside. Everyone behind the counter was Greek, so that was a good sign. The pizza didn’t look that good, but I didn’t care as I wasn’t there for pizza. I got the chicken souvlaki special which came with a Greek salad, white sauce and french fries, and my mom got a cheesesteak My mom enjoy here cheesesteak and it was an impressive size for $ 5.50. I didn’t think it was that great, but they did cook the onions well done as we asked. My chicken was moist and well seasoned, but I just wish there was a bit more of it. They gave me one skewer, and I wish I had 1.5 skewers in exchange for some of the sides, namely the french fries. They were pretty good and went well with my mom’s cheesesteak, but they don’t really go with what I was eating at all. The greek salad was great, with a couple of olives and plenty of feta. The pita was soft and delicious, and tasted very fresh. This dish was tasty, but would’ve been great if it had no fries and more chicken. This place is pretty good(especially for slow motion Goshen), but I think its odd that they focus so much on Italian food. Don’t get me wrong, I understand if you want to offer something that people are more familiar with, but why not have some fish or other Greek specialities instead of a million Italian things and a few Greek ones? Regardless, this is a good place and I will be back.
