Food is decent most times but the thing that drives me NUTS! is the delivery!! They always, i mean always screw something up! either they forget half the order or make the order wrong but its just agrivating. You complain and the girl just giggles and says sorry. been ordering from brother brunos in Middletown, much better!

The food is good but this place greatly lacks customer service. Don’t even bother with delivery unless you want missing items, wrong orders, cold food and 2 hour wait time. Bad service is consistent.

Unfortunately I’ve changed my rating to one star, why? The lack of Customer Service from the front of the house staff. jeez I don’t get it, supervising a very small restaurant is not rocket science The kitchen is great, they product good hot food, salads and sandwiches. High quality, tasty basic Italian food. The cooks should be commended! 5 stars for the cooks and kitchen staff. The pizza CAN be good but ithe taste and quality depends on who is making it when you order IMO. If the older gentleman is making the pizza you are good to go otherwise who knows. The other huge issue is customer service. Jon Angelos appears to staff the customer facing front of the house with unsupervised teenagers that lack Listening comprehension, can’t deal with numbers, speak to customers in 80’s valley girl calfifornia english«oh my god what do you want» and are argumentative. Jon Angeloes has a problem with the online ordering system that results in my orders being changed so when the driver arrives with the order who knows what i’ll get, for awhile I would get an order of fried squid that I didn’t order that was added to or that replaced something I ordered. When I called to tell them they have an issue another front of the house teenager accused me of calling in and changing the order, I couldn’t believe that some 16 year is accusing me of calling in and changing the order and that I didn’t know what I was talking above. Does the manager supervise the children? Apparently not and they are certainly NOT trained. when I spoke to the the manager Carlos he said he would credit my account so next time I ordered a credit would apply. Needless to say nothing was ever deduced. Ever. So if you call when school is out good luck with whoever picks up the«oh my god» phone and the online system is flawed so there is no easy hassle free way to place a order with Jon Angelos. the Goshen valley girl routine and online order roulette is not for me. I’ll spend my money elsewhere. Goshen is a small place. You would think a small local place wouldn’t suffer with this kind of craziness.

Goshen has 6 pizza places. If I wanted pizza and they were all closed and this one was open I would end up getting Chinese. Shitty food the only nice thing to look at are the girls behind the counter

Just had our first pizzas from this place. They are by far, the largest in the area. Had a white pizza which was quite good but could have used more garlic(guess that’s really a personal taste item). Also had a stuffed meat one that was a real surprise. First of all, it has a top crust covering a lot of various meat toppings(sausage, meatball slices, pepperoni, salami and perhaps others I am not aware of) with plenty of cheese. It is very good if you like lots of meat(and clearly I do). Ordered both by phone and they were ready on time as promised. The counter person was quite nice and helpful, both on the phone and in person. These pizzas are much more costly than your ordinary pizzas and more than was advertised in their take away menu I had picked up a month earlier. They were however, excellent and offered enough for a few future meals. Those stuffed meat ones are heavy duty!

The worst costumer service I have EVER received. Half my order was forgotten. So the deliver guy said he’d be right back… Upon opening my pizza it was freezing cold. I called the pizzeria they offered me a credit for next time. I have no intentions on ordering from them again so I asked for my money back. The girl on the phone proceeded to question my decision«so you won’t order from us again because we forgot your wings and your pizza was cold on a cold night» yes, that’s right. She began yelling at me. If you enjoy cold food and rude employees this is the place to go.

Not really the worst place to go for a pizza or an italian hero … The pizza is generic… edible …but definitely not memorable. The portions are generous… I would have given Jon Angelos 3 stars if it were not for the non existent service… Went to the pizza counter asking if they had table service… since I saw no waitress… The counter man indicated that the waitress was«in tbe back“and politely invited me to take a table in this virtually empty restaurant… After five or more minutes no one showed up… I walked back to the counter and ordered my own beverage & hero which was prepared and served promptly by the counter man .As I was finishing my generic hero two noisy kids sat down next to me making an intolerable screaming ruckus… Neither the counter man or the mother seemed to care… I got up and left feeling somewhat exhilarated that I had the choice of never returning to this pizza joint again.

The food here is always tasty, my favorite pizza in Goshen, and I have lived here all of my life! However it is the service that KILLS the place! We ordered a pizza tonight at approximately 6:30. The girl who took the order told us that the pie would be done in 30 – 45 minutes. I left my house after half an hour had passed. I was in JonAngelo’s until 7:40 waiting for my pizza. From what I can tell there is zero management. The«waitresses» took up space behind the counter staring into space. Not once did I see any of them approach a table after they were served to see how they were doing, or if they need anything. Check on your tables!!! Or help in anyway! Clean something! Don’t just take up space and get in the way of the people actually working! I saw two guys busting their butts getting the pizzas ready and in and out of the ovens, so major props to them! Overall the food is tasty, but the people need a refresher in service!

Best pizza we have found in the Goshen area and we have tried several. The calzones are HUGH. you will have left overs with the regular size. They have great Vodka and Marinara sauces as well. I will agree with one if the other posts… the prices are bit high compared to the other places in town but we pay it because it is the best we have found… so far…

Worst fucking pizzeria on the planet. I’m not going to waste much breath on this one, so please excuse the brevity. The crust is like a thick, stale brick. They slather it in a garlic oil which only makes it greasier. The tomato sauce has little flavor and most of that comes from dried herbs; it also isn’t technically tomato sauce, as it has cream in it for some bizarre reason. The cheese is a run of the mill, low quality variety. The whole thing is an inedible, one-way ticket to an upset stomach. The other dishes I’ve gotten have been similarly horrible, with the staff seemingly incapable of. draining pasta. The only thing I ever had that was borderline edible was a sandwich(once); even then I didn’t finish it. It’s scary that a place could open that’s worse than the rest of the pizzerias in Goshen, but if that was JonAngelo’s goal then they succeeded admirably. I cannot comment on the staff but other reviews here cover it. The only reason this place stays open is that they. source the lowest level of ingrendients, they have little overhead, and some people around here are dumber than dog crap and have less taste in food. The Italian(what a disgrace) owners are actually trying to franchise this shithole. Fuck, I’ll take Pizza Hut over this any day – at least there is some nostaglia to go with my agita there…

This is the best pizza I have had since I moved to Goshen 4 years ago. The wait was a bit long, but they warned me that they were busy before I placed my order, which I appreciated. The staff was extremely polite and freindly. I will definitely go back there.

I just ordered the deep dish pizza from the florida location. They told me 45 minutes and actually took 75 minutes to deliver to Chester. I don’t mind the wait– its the fact that the pizza was near cold and the bottom of the box was sopping wet. Not worth the $ 22 bill plus $ 5 tip. Tried to warm up the pizza and the paper underneath the pie dissolved with the crust which was a huge mess. Pizza tasted ok reheated but I’ll never order there again.

Visited here recently with fellow Unilocaler Charlotte S. There are seemingly 15 pizzerias in the village of Goshen, this was the first one that we tried. Located on West Main across from the car wash. They have a decent selection of Italian meals as well as specialty pizzas. Everyone in our party ordered a salad for starters(except me, who thinks Salad is kryptonite) I went with the garlic knots. We ordered a margarita pizza and a buffalo chicken pizza for our main course both tasted good and were a change of pace from your standard cheese pie. The prices seemed a little steep, the bill came to almost $ 100 which seems like a lot for what amounts to two semi-fancy Pizzas. I would guess the other«stuff» adds up but there was a little bit of sticker shock when we first got the bill. We’ll be scoping out other Goshen Pizza joints to see what they have to offer before we return.
