Walked in based on good reviews, waitress acknowledged us and said if we would like to we could sit on the patio which we did. Sat on the patio, and sat, and sat some more, for about another 15 minutes. Then stood, and walked out. There was only one seated table inside and several times they looked our way so they knew we were there and the place wasn’t busy obviously. Anyways, drove down the road to Anton’s so we’ll see how this place is…

My husband and were staying in the Meadows for a month or so. I work from home so I called and ordered a chicken Caesar salad to go. When I went to pick up salad, no one would acknowledge me in the restaurant so I went to go to bar. which is where I was suppose to pick up I guess. Not sure, no signs. I paid the $ 13 for the salad expecting it to be yummy. Well, I was disappointed. The salad was really small more chicken than romaine lettuce and had so much dressing I could hardly eat it. The dressing was also really salty. I was expecting so much more. Not sure if I’ll give them a try again or not…

We were out touring around the Graeagle and Portola areas a few weekends ago and wanted a nice relaxing lunch with outdoor dining. I Unilocaled this place and here we are. The Graeagle Meadows Golf Course has a real nice clubhouse here that serves lunch and breakfast. The deck has a great view of the greens and fairways and seems sheltered from the wind and has shady areas for tables. This is one of the most serene setting for golf and eating I’ve been to. Civility in the wilderness I guess it’d be called. There is a full bar here for those in need. We had some nice beers. The outdoor dining area is doggie friendly, so if you have a four legged friend, they are welcome! The server will even bring a water bowl for pooches. Our server seated us quickly at a nice outdoor table with a view. It’s so easy to spend hours here just relaxing and sipping beer and eating tasty food. Looking over the lunch menu, breakfast is served all day on Sundays, but we wanted lunch. I got a bacon cheese burger served with house made semi curly fries and my BF had the BLT sandwich on toasted sourdough bread. This is one of those places where I really don’t care if the food comes fast, the whole point is being here. Our food does arrive in not too much time. Food pics first! My burger arrives open faced, displaying the nice melted cheddar cheese. The fries are sort of a crescent moon shape and tasty. I love the brioche bun used on the burger, It hold up well and doesn’t fall apart with all the juices of my burger. My BF’s BLT has lots of bacon and tomato and tastes good as well. I really did like the flavor of my burger, the cheese was extra sharp cheddar and the beef was good quality, I think there was a BBQ sauce in there too. Our server kept tabs on us better than a lot of golf course help at other places have. The burger was around $ 12 and the BLT was $ 9. I’d like to take a drive up here again sometime, before the winter sets in. I think they close around mid October for the season, depending on the weather.

At this particular visit, our party was disappointed in the service and the time involved in getting our order. Our server forgot to bring items that went with our order. I looked so forward to having my «Lox and Bagel», told our company about it, only to be told they were taken off the menu !! Oh yes… we’ll be back… maybe you could get more help to accommodate a busy breakfast crowd.

So I’ve played golf here a few times, and eaten here maybe twice before. On one prior visit a few years back my son exclaimed it was the best hotdog ever! Today I took both my boys here, 12&15 and we all ordered lunch/brunch. It was 2:30 in the afternoon and they are only serving until 3:00 pm No dinner service. We sat inside and had a beautiful view of the golf course. My oldest ordered a Rueben, my middle a pulled pork, and I had a chicken Caesar salad. Everything was well prepared, the sandwiches came with unique unusual wedge kinda fries. The boys liked their sandwiches, my Caesar was good but not incredible. Aside from the great golf course views the room ambience was, well Golf Course Denny’s All in all a good place to eat in that neck of the woods.

This pages says it’s open but we have been there three times and always found it closed. Maybe it’s closed in the winter but there are no signs or any information about the hours. Does the place ever serve food or is it closed in winter?

We ate here while visiting Plumas National forest and were very happy to find this gem. The view from the patio is to die for! The staff was sup[er friendly and even gave us directions on things to do in that area. We got the cheeseburger and the french toast, both were super delicious and the portions were large! The burger was nice and juicy with lots of condiments on the side. The french toast was delicious too but had too much butter. Next time, I’ll remember to request a low fat french toast! Overall we enjoyed the crisp cold mountain air while gazing down at the golfers from their deck.

As I was up in Graeagle taking care of some biz, and nothing was open for lunch in Graeagle or Blairsden on a Monday — in the«off season» — I HAD to eat here. My adult son was with me and we actually had an enjoyable late lunch on their outside deck overlooking the golf course and distant mountains. Pretty bucolic! Oh, yeah… the food! My son had their«Harvey Burger» and said it was indeed an 8 on his burger scale of 1 – 10. The curly fries that came with the burger were very good! I had a Caesar salad with a skewer of grilled shrimp on top. Very yummy! I would also like to mention that the service was very friendly and attentive. Now I have another place to return to in the beautiful Graeagle area when I’m feeling hungry.

Located at the 19th hole of a golf course, you are paying for the view here in my opinion. In town for a wedding, we came here for breakfast. While it’s really hard to mess up a traditional breakfast(two eggs over easy, toast, and home fries) it was pricey($ 11.95 and $ 3 for crappy coffee). But the views were awesome and the service impeccable. In town for two more days, we opted to go the Graeagle Restaurant for breakfast where the flavor was a little more local and less expensive.

The patio is the main pusher for the 3 stars awarded. Bloody Mary extra spicy was perfecto after all day wedding drinking the day before, but it was a little light on the goods. Dishes ordered by our party were the Spinach Salad, Chinese Chicken Salad, Burger & Club Sandwich. All seemed better than any other food we have found around this area, but nothing outstanding. But the sun was shining and I was feeling fine, so 3 stars seems respectable.

This restaurant has really great food and is located in such a picturesque location! Its tucked away in its own little corner, and offers a serene place to take your family to truly show them the wonder that is Graeagle without feeling bombarded by tourism. It is always a treat going here and I highly recommend it!

Could not have been better. Friendly staff makes you feel like family and the food is dynamite. I could have sat on the deck overlooking the course for at least two weeks without moving. Can’t wait to return.

Great panoramic mountain and golf course views — either from their indoor seating area through large windows, or even better from an elevated outdoor balcony seating area. Very friendly service with a smile and neighborly small town chit chat. Good sized portions that are well prepared and tasty. .. particularly their breakfasts. .. and overall a very good value. Not quite a 5 star rating but a very solid 4, leaning towards a 5 !!!

Wonderful food, a fabulous view and helpful staff. The clubhouse is great for breakfast & lunch! Try the Harvey burger!
